    I purchased an Eclipse Cross SEL Trim (United States). There are different trim levels compared to Australia. The SEL has a body color trim at the perimeter base of the vehicle, but with a small black trim area embedded within the body-colored trim and a red horizontal stripe located within the black trim. Ride is smooth and quiet, the LED headlights are very good, interior layout is clean, seats are comfortable, and the turbocharged engine has decent torque for normal driving. Glad I purchased one.

    I test drove both of these vehicles and I did notice the Mitsubishi was a lot quieter than the Honda as well

    It is nice to see reviews in the budget end of the SUVs, rather the expensive ones. I tested Eclipse Cross and agree with your observations. I am also checking out Haval, Kia and Subaru in the $30K-$35K range. Please track the progress of incoming vehicles, like Toyota Corolla Cross. I look forward to more comparison reviews from you guys.

    The Eclipse is fun to drive, I bought one a couple months ago. Diamond red SE trim with dual sun roof. I wish it had the HUD display though! That thing seems goofy but I bet it looks cool at night.

    Nice video. Would definitely like to see a hatch comparison of Kia Cerato, Hyundai i30 and Toyota Corolla.

    I remember Paul Walker driving Mitsu Eclipse GT in the fast in the furious 1, he won in the second place against RX7 and third place Mugen Honda.

    There's noway on earth the have is a fun drive over the eclipse cross... not even close.... that where the eclipse cross / mitsubishi on a whole shines, ... high speed maneuvering..
    Hrv just simply have more space n that's it... but will give up space any day for a better looking vehicle

    Great review and outcome for these crossovers - anathema to sports as for Golf money can get much more modern machinery with much better dynamics - a shame that no wanker coffees were consumed in the making of the video :) and Alex clearly uses a mirror when getting dressed lol 😂

    Great vid of two budget-focused SUVs. I wouldn’t buy either, tho. There are newer and more convincing rivals.

    Honda soll seine Rasenmäher Bauen, und das Auto Bauen Mitsubishi überlassen der Cross ist das Beste was jemals gebaut worden ist.

    From previous experience of owning both brands the Honda has always been way more expensive to insure due to the spare parts costs ... although a bullett proof motor ... same could be said with the older Mitsi engines ... unsure who is supplying Mitsi engines now due to the blending of brands... Nissan - Mitsi - Renault . Plus Renault and Nissan have super fkn poor customer relations or interest after you have purchased and that is from personal experience

    EC is heaps better looking and the engine is heaps better. But the HRV is much more practical in the back seat.

  • @williammarshall1629
    @williammarshall1629 Před 2 lety +1

    I bought a 2022 HRV and would never buy another Honda .
    It is not a modern vehicle and is just a cobbled together mix of old motor and old tech .
    Honda can no longer claim to be a first class brand
