Eau Des Baux is fantastic. Every old L'Occitane bottle I have flakes too. Only drawback but I live with it.

Love love Antaeus. I got it as a Christmas present when it came out (shut up). Didn't like it. Came back to it when I reached my mid- twenties, fell for it. It's not as oomphy anymore (still have the og bottle) but it still is great.

I really dont get the hate on PR Phantom. I find myself grabbing it more and more. The opening is slightly confusing but as it settles down I've grown to love it and gotten many compliments.

At that point i should have known that i was better of saving my money and go into niche.
had high hopes for Eau des Baux...it's good, but I mainly get cinnamon and not much else.

Ash, the moment I saw your shirt, with triangles of different shades facing up and down, I knew that this video would challenge me...
But then you got me when you shouted the snobs out.
After bashing - absolutely hilariously so, I must admit - all the frags in my shopping cart, like a thunderbolt I realized that it is I who has no class, and is not deserving of the Snob Standard. I never knew.
From now on it's Dior, Tommy et al that will adorn my fragrance vault. Thank you, Ash!
Now I'm off to buy a new shirt, and as any gent who has any fashion scents knows, triangles face up and diagonal to the left shoulder.

Please Ash for your reverse video try to pick fragrances that aren't widely covered already ! If you make the video to only talk about cédrat boisé, red tobacco, instant crush, oud for greatness, layton and herod, it'd be a missed opportunity imo.
7:40 spelled l'occitane edt instead of l'occitane eav des bavx
Not that Eau des Baux isn't good in its own right, but I prefer (Eau de) L'Occitan myself. A simple fresh, clean lavender.
The 2017 version is a bit different. Still very good, but I prefer the 2012. I miss that one a lot.

Dirt has been around since the beginning of time and will probably still be around at the end. So I guess that does make Terre D'Hermes timeless since it smells like dirt.

Dior Homme Intense with the cloying headache inducing scent of Iris, Dior Homme 2020 is a masterpiece. Most Iris colognes I just can’t wear without an instant headache.

Unfortunately DHI's performance is not perfect nowadays 🥲😭
I feel you. But I'm starting to think that's a good thing. I've learned that it hits differently when a fragrance is "discovered" rather than "announced." DHI is the perfect "get close" fragrance. I have a recent bottle, and it's not beastmode, but it shines with the sillage and longevity. Not too much projection after about 5 hours but last forever
@@RoC937 I agree. I also prefer scents with moderate projection. The problem with DHI (2021 batch) is that it doesn’t last on my skin . Very heartbreaking considering the fact that it is one of my favourite scents ever
