    I live in Luxembourg and have for the past 14 years, I've walked a lot of Müllerthal trail and I can also confirm it is beautiful. The village you went to (Larochette to get the pastry and pie) I went to visit 2 weeks ago. The smallest country I've been to is Lichtenstein.

    Being from Luxembourg, I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it since we have unjustly been getting a lot of sh*t for having high numbers of corona cases, given our high testing strategy. But I also feel safer there then in the Netherlands, where I am only holiday right now...

    • @fayereaganlover
      @fayereaganlover Před 4 lety

      the numbers are way too high for your small population though. It has nothing to do with high testing. You have too many people who party and dont care about social distancing

      @@fayereaganlover We have 600 cases of a population of 600.000; we do around 8 - 15k tests a day. Do you think that countries with a population of millions don't have a gigantic hidden number of people infected, be it asymptomatic or in the process of developing symptoms? Our 'dark number' is way lower than other countries, because we do all of those tests, and yes that is why our 'official number' is proportionally higher than other countries, but they proportionally test WAY less than we do. Also, we are a BORDER country, thousand of people come over to work in Luxembourg, and more than often A BUNCH of them bring the virus with them, this information is even included in our daily testing statistics (so, border worker VS inhabitants). I went to Germany and France the last few weeks, and trust me; if any country is keeping to the restrictions, it is Luxembourg.

    • @erikgilson197

Oh yes, the water reflection in the leaves is so lovely. As far as jelly goes, I don't even like peanut butter and jelly (PB yes , but no jelly) . Great video! The only thing disturbing this little idyl is some sort of concrete block lying in the river and the road only 10 meters away (3:05). But the camping site looks very decent. Besides that you really choose a great time to travel around! Although Corona restrictions and the virus itself are a serious problem there are enough loopholes to travel around and have a great time at awesome places without to many tourists filling up the area. It´s a little bit like travelling in the 70´s but with the comfort of the 2000´s. I really wish you all the best and I´m looking forward to your next videos! Stay save and have fun!

    Very nice video, never noticed the reflection of the water under the leaves, probably because I rather jog through the places than walk.
    And then where are your bicycles?
    Luxembourg is worth a few days of bicycle tours, flat along the rivers, and some challenging hills in the north, an e-bike would help, and a lot of cross-country through the forests for the more adventurous.
    Luxembourg is very safe and friendly as long as you avoid the city near the train station, the city parks at night, and globally the larger towns in the south along the french border.
    Beware the traffic, to many people drive recklessly, and there maybe a lot of traffic jams on the highways to the center city during office hours.

      Which southern towns are you referring to, because it's very safe there as well. I think the only possible problem could be burglars, since those do happen down there during winter, but this wouldn't really concern people travelling

    hahaha, yeah.... showing in public may offend some adults or teenagers 😂.

    We're really enjoying your new series. We haven't ventured out of covid-free Isle of Man, so it's great to have a look at what travel is looking like in Europe at the moment, before we brave it :D We're in split opinions about jelly in foods, I love it, my husband hates it.

    Ahhh just went to the schiessentümpel. It really is amazing guys. Did a little swim in it (it's actually deep in some spots) and it was great in the heat of last week. Really recommend going there once. Too bad vacation is over for me and I'm sitting at home in the Netherlands...

    We stayed in apartments when we went traveling. It's not jelly, it's aspic. Does that make you feel better? Monaco is the smallest country I've been to.

    I also hate most jelly but especially meat jelly. The live stream was fun! Loved the video. Lots of aloha!
