To me it sounds like raag or raga. basically it's a type of singing that is used in classical South Asian music. You can find similar singing in Qawwali music. They're not words with meaning, rather like musical notes that are sang. Check out Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan if you wanna explore Qawwalis.
