    How often do you drink lattes or cappuccinos? If you liked this video, you might like this Ninja Dual Brew Pro review video, too: czcams.com/video/AMAUC5pcWyw/video.html

    Barista-style oat milk often contains additional ingredients, such as stabilizers or emulsifiers, that help create a smoother texture and better frothing capabilities. These additives enhance the milk's ability to trap and retain air during the frothing process, resulting in a creamier foam. In contrast, regular oat milk may lack these components, making it less effective for frothing.

    You talk about burnt milk on the steam head but the best reason to purchase the Breville Milk Frother is because you own a single boiler espresso machine and make coffee drinks only, no milk. Then you have friends come over and you'd like to make them a frothed milk based drink but you want to produce more frothed milk to service more than one cup. So with the single boiler you can crank out double shots of espresso then add the frothed milk quickly serving multiple drinks at a time without a long time window in between. The Breville also makes wonderful hot chocolates.

      Excellent points, Rick. I think I'm just shell shocked from my days as being the coffee station busboy when I was a kid working for Wolfgang Puck. LOL. I still have nightmares about that machine.

    The whisk does not "just sit" on the nub. You need to firmly press it down until you feel a bit of a click. Don't make this mistake of just sitting it on there, as the machine will make a grinding noise and quickly shut down.

    I just bought one after reading good reviews online. I have issues with vegan milk in my espresso machine sometimes and I just hate removing and placing the milk jug each time. This really is a magnificent machine ❤

  • @bazza945
    @bazza945 Před měsícem +1

    You must unravel *all* the power cord before switching on the electricity.
    I have the other Breville frother, which runs on our 240v mains. It has the same jug, except for a one-piece top. Also this model has four pre-sets for the various functions.
    The Breville frother works best with premium dark blue top homogenised milk. The extra protein in the milk enables a thicker richer froth to form.
    I find the right amount of cold milk is to the level just slightly above the bevel between the base section and the wider top section of the jug.
    The milk has never burned, but beware the induction works and the jug is hot enough you should place it on a firm heat-proof surface.
    Rinse the jug carefully to remove all traces of the milk, and clean with a suitable nylon bristle brush, ie a bottle brush. Make sure to do the cleaning promptly and remove all moisture from the outer surface of the jug. The base unit should be unplugged before giving it a wipe with dry towel. The inner induction base can get quite hot, to take care. Follow the instruction booklet, it's quite comprehensive.
    I bought this unit on a special price deal for $NZ104. No regrets. I have been using problem free for approx 8 days so far.

    Wish the spout was a little more pointed so I can use the jug for latte art. Seems like I will have to transfer the froth to a latte art pouring jug which is too bad. Looks like an awesome frother though so I’ve ordered one. Thank you for your video!

    A steam wand should be wiped down and purged immediately after frothing. Then it's clean. It also should not be pushed deep into the milk. Only the tip needs immersion.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Před 11 měsíci

      Very true... When I first started working at Spago whne I was a kid, thye had me in charge of making all the cappuccinos and stuff, so that had to get done constantly... Even so, we still had to do quite a bit of cleaning on the wands at the end of the night... That's in a high volume environment though.

    Cappuccino whisk froths very thick foam whereas the Latte whisk do not do a good job and should be
    re-designed.

    Your infrared thermometer is only testing the surface temperature. You would need to stick a thermometer into the milk to get a more accurate temperature.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Aha... Duh... Stupid me. I figured since heat rises, the surface temp would be pretty accurate, especially on a small amount like that, but I should have dropped one in there anyway.... And I have one sitting in the drawer right below where the review was going on too. Haha.

    • @Saltymomma
      @Saltymomma Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@JoesPhenomenal You’re not stupid. It was a great review. Helped my decision to buy it 😆
      I’ve learned myself when cooking that the surface temp from the laser doesn’t always match down inside the food or liquid. Not always a huge difference but I bet it might be a little more hotter down inside.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Před 8 měsíci +1

      @Saltymomma glad I could help ya make the decision. Now I'm curious to see how off that temp might be.. Don't have a ton of experience with the infrared ones.

      I was referring more to the commercial ones with the really high heat. Those tend to get the milk burned onto the wand pretty easily and that can be a little rough trying to clean at that point unless you really stay on top it.

Nespresso Coffee tastes like burnt Mud …Italians lead the World with Coffee Blends they are the Masters of Coffee, long before Americans discovered Coffee - Italians wouldn’t touch these Brands - my favourite is LAVAZZA (about 10 different Blends Pods only) it doesn’t leave that Burnt taste in your mouth for Ages.
