Doesn't matter still not gonna buy it or I shall declare bankruptcy
hey, not sure if you'll see this and its ok if you don't, i just find your voice very pleasant and how you present your shorts, have a good one!
It is on sale right now for $85 on Amazon. I’ve had one for three months and really like it. See my comment below for a detailed review. 😊
Hey just letting you know theres scammers commenting on some of the comments on your videos saying theyve won something and to contact them on Telegram, have reported one but just making you aware :)
I have to be honest, that opening slide automatically makes my brain go ‘weeeeeee’ 😂
I love how size of this things are progressing from blade grinder into small drip machine territory. Also, it is a pity that you didn't review cleaning process of each them (and for apliances working with milk it is both crucial and sometimes painful experience).
I have the nespresso. A thorough rinse with hot water immediately after use seems to work for me. But accidentally forgetting about it and letting it sit is a big no no
@@MinaF99 I had a variety of cheap ones to make hot chocolate in the morning, but I found a runs on hot with water helps to generally lift anything that was forgotten. Definitely would do deep cleans via a run with a tiny bit of dish soap + multiple runs of water after. Faster after is definitely better though.
I have a generic model. After pouring the frothed milk I do a quick rinse, keep some water inside, and do a half frothing cycle so the wand gets really clean.
For cleaning process, I have to say the breville actually did the best. The pitcher is dishwasher safe so you just need to pop them in the dishwasher. And the stirrer discs are magnetic so there’s no dead zone in the pitcher.
I have the Maestri House. The jug is stainless steel and very easy to clean. There’s no peg/spindle on the bottom to get in the way. They even provide a sponge in a set of refillable tongs for cleaning. It’s quick and easy to clean the frother attachment and jug. I was pleasantly surprised to find I have less of a problem with residue sticking to the bottom of the jug than I did with the nonstick ones I had before.
You can also remove the spring from the Nespresso frother (maybe the other ones, too, but I can only speak to the Nespresso) for a less foamy texture. No spring = latte, spring = cappuccino. Makes it so much more versatile!
Yep it is 2in1 whisk, pretty handy imho, but most people don't know it!
@@chrisindie The Bodum also can remove the spring for the same effect.
I do this with Bodum too
omg i had no idea!!!!
Omg I had no clue! Good to know it can work without the spring!
I appreciate the transparency, thoroughness, and organization of this channel. Your descriptions with time stamps are so great. Thank you for taking the steps to make this channel amazing!
Battery powered wand for the win in our house :) The nice thing about those battery powered wands is that they are awesome for mixing any sort of powdered drink. Hot chocolate, cold chocolate milk, protein powder, even instant coffee (gasp!) or powdered fruity drink mixes. The rest of the devices kind of seem like unitaskers. My go-to is pour over, so I don't really need anything terribly fancy, just a way to mix well. :)
Ive used powered things in my frother, you just need to clean the foamy disc
The Breville actually comes with a ton of recipes for stuff you can make in it. While I totally agree with your take, worth mentioning that the Breville does do more than just froth and heat milk.
The Maestri House also has part of the attachment for mixing things into the milk.
@@WaterNai So does the Breville
Please, no one click the Telegram post. This is most probably a scam imposing Morgan. If Morgan would offer a win to someone she would get in touch directly with that person.
I have had the Breville for about two years now and I love it! I drink tea (not coffee) and use it all the time to make tea lattes. With the magnetic stirrers it is very easy to clean either by hand in the sink or by just putting in soap and water and run a cycle (also is dishwasher safe but the stirrer part sometime will not fully clean if power like matcha or hot chocolate). It has held up great, makes wonderful milk drinks of all types and is a daily driver in my kitchen.
I have had the Breville since the beginning of January, 2012 and have used it almost everyday since it arrived. I love it. The price at that time was $129.99...it was kind of the only kid on the block at that time. I took a big gulp, bit the bullet, bought it. It has not disappointed.
The nespresso one isn’t timed, it has a temperature sensor. If you add less milk it stops earlier so the milk doesn’t overheat
fun fact! the reason you can eat chese with no problem is becuase in the process of making the cheese the bacteria will have eaten away the lactose for you! you may also be able to eat certain types of yogurt as the same thing happens!
I upgraded to the Breville after years with the Nespresso frother and I'm very happy with it. Consistent and great performance. I did notice that to get the actual temperature you want it needs to be set a bit higher but once you figure that out it's happy coffee from there.
Have you been able to pour latte art with the milk it produces?
The exact same thing for me! Loved nespresso but love the breville much more
How much milk can you place in there I want to get a machine that can hold a lot of milk if I wanted to make a hot chocolate?
@@Therealbajanprince The Breville is intended for hot chocolate too and you can easily pour in 10 or 12oz of milk from my experience with it. It might require a little less frothing the more you pour in though. I actually would've preferred it to be smaller and work better with 6oz but it's still good.
@@orrman5 does it make the milk really hot or just somewhat warm?
A nice thing about the breville is that is also advertised as a hot chocolate maker as well. You can put solid chocolate in it and it will melt it and give you a really good temperature with milk.
Cheese, especially harder aged cheeses have much much less lactose than regular milk. Lots of lactose sensitive people can eat plenty of cheese (me included).
I LOVE my Nespresso Aeroccino! And I'll say this as a fellow lactose-intolerant coffee drinker: lactose-free milk is the bomb! I use 2% (and add in a tablespoon of vanilla coconut creamer cuz it's the only creamer that doesn't destroy the foam) and it creates a beautiful thick foam that I incorporate with the crema on my freshly-brewed cup of Nespresso coffee. So good!!
Despite having a perfectly good milk frother for both hot and cold foam I still watched this entire video 😂
I love how she explained the details and I could see she put lots of efforts when she made this video!
These are always so interesting. Reminds me of the time after I got a peppercorn grinder and realized that pre-ground pepper began to taste like sand in comparison. I enjoy coffee but didn't know about all the science behind it. Now looking forward to applying some of these processes. Thanks for the enlightenment.
You might want to take your Lactaid as you drink your dairy, the lactase enzymes work best when they're taken right along the dairy. Take one along with the first sip of each drink and you'll be good to go. I have lots of first hand experience to confirm this works 😂
So THAT'S why none of the lactase I've taken work, I took them too long beforehand
Available at Costco. Their 'Kirkland' brand is a fraction of the cost of Lactaid sold at drug stores.
I've found your shorts somehow and I've felt like I need to check your longer videos out and it was one of the best decisions of my life! I am not really into coffee (just yet), but I absolutely love your style :) you seem so kind and reliable (I am not sure why :D), your vibe is just so nice :) I've checked out a few vids and all them are informative, incredibly well put together and overall amazing. Thank you for this content (and the shorts as well, they are one of my safe places on yt :))
I got a Paris Rōne frother for Christmas and i love it! 3 levels of froth, cold foam option, and a heat-only option. It has a handle and a slight spout to help pour. Game changer!! We use it to mix hot chocolate and matcha too!
I don't know much about milk frothers, that was the video i needed. Thanks!:)
That “hello there” immediately got me. If I’d slid into frame that flawlessly I would have been proud of myself too!
Got my Nespresso milk frother as a gift so I don't complain... It makes warm frothy milk when I don't want to use the wand. You can remove the spring to do. Love you Morgan
Thank you so much for these thoughtful reviews! They are so helpful. I use the handheld frother for mixing my protein powder into milk in the morning ☺️
We got a brevill as a wedding gift, and the hottest setting with the frothing disk, adding in chocolate syrup and a shot or two of espresso makes amazing hot chocolate/mocha.
Didn't know about the techniques on how/when to make the foams for different drinks, so thank you for that
My wife has the Zulay and is very happy with it. Hers came with a wire rack that holds it upright on the counter. It takes up very little counter space and protects the agitator wire from getting bent, as it might if stored horizontally in a drawer with other implements.
I have owned the Breville for at least 8 years and it does everything we need it to. Non-dairy milks even come out great! Excellent video!
wow it lasts that long? did you ever need to replace anything?
@@dolly.uwu. no, still going strong! We don’t use it daily but a couple of times a week at least.
As someone who loves cold brew I love using my hand held frother to make cold foam. I think that’s one of the biggest pros for me that was missed in this video.
I was going to ask about this! I'm a big cold brew person and would love to do cold foam at home
Nesspreso frother have an option for cold foam, so its not only a handheld one. The more expensive one probably have that too
Didn't she mention cold foam multiple times?
@@error.418 not in regards to the hand held frother. It was mentioned for the stand alone frothers that have a cold foam option.
Like many coffee geeks, I have a press pot in my house. It’s perfect for making cold foam!
I like the last two because of easy clean up! I usually store things in my cupboards, so I have a cleaner countertops. Thank you dear.
Omg, the Breville Milk Cafe! I've had one for almost eight years and love it dearly. Perfect for making my morning matcha lattes.
which model do you have? the reviews on their website are very sketchy as everyone is stating theirs stopped working after only a few months.
I have a milk frother that is the same size as the Nespresso one with options to just heat the milk, give it a low level of froth, a high level of froth, or make cold foam and it's much cheaper than the Nespresso. It has lasted me years so far and I've even made hot chocolate and egg nog in it. Love it!
You posted this at exactly the right time! I just bought a nespresso machine and have been looking for a milk frother that cost less than theirs! ✨
i’ve been in the market for a good milk frother, so i’m stoked for your advice!
Just wanted to drop by and say THANK YOU for your explanation on how to get the best results with the wand! I've had one for years and gotten ok but not-quite-worth-it results, and now my milk frothing game is so good! I'm having lattes all the time.
I have a handheld frother, and I really love it. The last two nights I used it to make a single portion of sweetened whipped cream for a desert, and it's super useful when mixing chocolate into milk for hot chocolate. Sadly I have no access to espresso anymore since quitting my cafe job so I can't give anyone my experience with latte making, but I have made cold foam for a cup of cold brew and it worked perfectly. So, 10/10 would recommend if you have a couple bucks to spare.
What a great review on frothers! I’ve been looking for one to buy, this video helped me greatly! Thanks ❤❤❤☕️
I was just looking to get a milk frother to improve my Carajillo game, this is so helpful, thank you.
Great job and extremely detailed description of each machine. Thank you❤❤❤❤
My husband got the Zulay frother for me this Christmas (I sent him the link from your list lol) and it's perfect! I didn't want a contraption on my counter, and it froths perfectly!
Thanks for doing this. You gave some really good info as I am just beginning my education and search for a frother
Very detailed, in-depth information that I wish I had prior to purchasing my milk frother. I like simplicity and durability, not too many bells and whistles, too many options gives me a headache. At times the simple things offer more enjoyment and satisfaction than all these extra added features. I'm new to your channel and love it. I love your positive, energetic, bubbly personality. My best wishes to you! Take care! 🙂❤
You can make different foams with the Nespresso also. You have to remove the wire ring and just use the black plastic thing. The lid has a place to store the wire ring even. Give it a try and report back to us. Thanks
I have to confess to using my froth wand mostly for chocolate milk. Otherwise it's for moka drinks and that gives me time to do it. it's one of my favorite rituals. I froth in my mug like a savage.
I love my nespresso frother. It’s silkier than hand frothers and can heat and do cold milk. No idea if it’s the best one, but I got a deal on it and it’s been great for the past 4 years!
Morgan, Thank you for this video ☕️ happy holidays!
Two fun things:
A- Maestri House makes a slightly cheaper, solid-unit frother with all the same buttons! My roommate got it for me for my birthday (I like to make tea lattes and hot chocolate). It works a dream, and you can even customize that 10-30% foam range based on how high you fill up the milk (either to min vs. frothing max line). I think it was closer to the $50 range?
B- From a Fromagere, lactose intolerance is a spectrum, and you seem to be on the low end of intensity. That's why you can do cheese (I'd guess harder cow cheeses, and definitely sheep/goat are all good, yes?) but not anything with high lactose like ice cream. As cheese ages, the lactose is converted out- so people on the low end can usually do harder cheeses. Goat and sheep's milk have entirely different lactose structures, so they're also less likely to be problematic for those who struggle!
Im the reverse, i love ice cream & gelato, but something like a family members mac n cheese will make my stomach hurt!
I have the Breville one. Yes it is expensive but I’ve been using it almost everyday for the past 4+years without any issues. I’m very happy with it and I would buy it again.
which model is it? all the reviews on the website say theirs broke after a few months
@@dolly.uwu. Hi there, I have Breville, the Milk Cafe, model# BMF600XL. I’m still using the same one and it’s working just fine 😄
THANK you very much for helping me choose the milk Frother for my home :) appreciate your video.. Thank you
Y’all let’s get them to 1 million subs! They deserve it!! ❤️❤️❤️ one of the most genuine and wholesome CZcamsrs/TikTokers ever!
This is so helpful. I'm looking for one and this gives me a good idea which one to get for the texture i want.
I didn't realize that first thing was a milk frother. We just used it to mix stuff! Although that does explain why I chose to stop using it when mixing my drinks. I'd end up making the milk very foamy which was fun at first, but did not give me the drink experience I was looking for.
I bought Nanofoamer from subminimal, first the V1 then upgraded to V2. Very satisfied with both of them, in my opinion the best milk frother in the wand form. Effortlessly making latte art and cold foams under 30s.
Thank you so much for this video. Yesterday I was looking for the best milk frother machine, and today you video came out to my feed. It is really helpful.✨🥛
There's a special use case that really separates some steamers from others: Making hot chocolate with crushed, REAL chocolate (rather than cocoa powder). I curranty have a Breville-style steamer. It's nice for milk drinks in general, if you don't want to use a steam wand, but it tends to get stuck on bits of chocolate, which is SUPER aggravating and messy to get unstuck. Earlier I had a steamer similar to the maestro with a little basket you could slip over the disk for hot chocolateíng. It was perfect, but the frother's (magnetic) connection to the had stability issues - I gave up on it after returning two units.
Maybe the best "Froth for your Farthing" would be better than bang for your buck?
Great review. Exactly what I hoped for. Just ordered the Breville under your affiliate. Can't wait! Thank you!
The Aeroccino can do two different levels of foam, with the spring on for cappuccinos and without for lattes. I’m looking to upgrade to Breville/Maestri/Smeg at some point soon for the versatility and ability to do hot chocolate.
I came here to say this!
It was between the breville and maestri for me. I went with the maestri
French presses are pretty decent frothers as well. I use my old press for frothing and my newer for brewing. The main issue if you use the same for both is you get coffee grinds in your milk foam and it doesn't look great.
Good tip! Thanks!
She did a video on that 👍
I got an Instant brand frother/steamer from Target for like $30 on sale and it's great. It has 4 modes (cold foam, thin hot foam, thick hot foam, and just steaming/no foam), has a separate start button to the mode button, stops automatically, and is small/lightweight and very easy to clean. I haven't been able to do latte art with it but it steams to a pretty perfect drinking temperature so you can drink right away rather than wait for it to cool, which I thought was a sweet bonus 👍
Can you tell me which one? I am trying to find one that won't break after a few months of use.
Is it still holding up? I wanted to purchase that one as well but upon reading reviews it apparently has a tendancy to stop working after a couple uses
@@dreamie9868 yep mine is working just fine still. I would say just be gentle with cleaning it especially the little frothing attachment
Great video. So glad I found your channel!
You covered EVERY base!! Thank you for your content! and I would love to see you on QVC😂💯
I always assumed that the handheld frother couldn’t make “real” wand frothed milk, but it’s good to know that you can get similar results with practice
Great video! I’d love to see you do the same thing with coffee grinders
I have the SMEG milk frother and I love it so much. It's very similar to the Breville in price, features, and how to use. It's very easy to clean and I like that SMEG has so many color options, so if someone's kitchen/coffee setup is themed or follow a particular color concept it's easy to match your setup.
Yikes, that’s an unfortunate name for something that produces white foam. (Ask a Brit.)
@@CantankerousDave Lol, yes the entire brand is an unfortunate name
Nice video, thank you for sharing comparison of those milk frothers 👍
I finally bought an espresso machine a year ago and am practicing with the steam wand. Prior to that I used the Breville frother and I love it. I've had that for quite some time. As a matter of fact I don't recall paying over $100 for it. It still works great, can even make hot cocoa in it.
Thank you! So helpful. Love your hinesty
Hand Frother is great for those of us who only make iced coffee drinks. I make iced mochas and being able to work for cold milk is ideal.
The Maestri House also has 3 options for the metal frothers, the blade, the whisk and the top cap, which will all alter the texture further, essentially 3 options per 3 settings, 9 options in total.
Funny, I was just debating buying a cheap handheld frother but didn't know if it would really work. I've got plenty of time to learn how to use it, so yay! $10 treat for me!
i think would've been interesting to see the Nanofoamer was thrown into the mix too. I upgraded from the basic hand frother to the nanofoamer last year lol I love the texture it gives vs the basic one.
there's nanofoamer in previous gift video! Too bad that isn't included in this review
Happy Holidays Morgan!
After going through 3 different Nespresso models and getting so frustrated with how difficult it is to keep clean, we bought a Severin 3587 and haven't looked back. Adjustable temperature, put the whole canister into the dishwasher. My only niggle is that I'd like to be able to turn off the button beeps, but after 3 years of daily use this thing is flawless. Worth the $100 ish paid at the time.
CZcams has been throwing your shorts at me, saw this, figured you make good shorts, probably make good videos. I clicked on this, saw you, then got confused because I saw your lips moving but did not see words on my screen. Then I realized I was hearing the words. My brain is broken, my confusion is mounting, but I'm here for it.
thank you for such a great review ☕️❤
this video came in just in time, I been looking for one.
I needed a video like this a few months ago. I ended buying the Smeg milk frother and love it. But this video has good info.
Hi Morgan, I just wanted to say thank you. Your video helped me select the Maestri. I bought the one from your link, and we couldn't be happier. I've been making pour over for years(switch) in a number of methods, and she wanted to make tea latte. So, in playing with the new toy, I've lowered my pour from 300g to 200g, and add 75-100g of 160 degree whole milk with the heaviest foam. She's finally been able to make an actual London Fog. The hot chocolate is also pretty great and incredibly easy.
Thanks again for the amazing details and wonderful personality you show in all your videos and shorts.
This was fabulous. Thank you❤
I have a bodum model that does hot and cold foam. You can also take out the frothing attachement to just heat milk as well as make hot chocolate or other powedered mixes. Its is a little loud but overall I love it!
Very informative! Well done 👍🏼
Great comparison review. Thank you.
I have a frothing wand and I love it. I use it for my instant coffee and milk recipe that I left as a comment in a previous video. It does a really good job for what I need it to do. So, at the $12.99 price that I paid for it, I can't complain one bit. It does need a battery (maybe 2), but I've only had to change/charge the battery maybe 3 times in the year that I've had it.
Really love your videos.
I used a Bodum French Press for frothing milk. I didn't have any else available. It works really well. No electricity or anything else. Just pour in warmed milk, and with several swift plunger actions, you get to control the amount of foam. Clean up was easy so long as you don't wait for the milk residue to dry out.
I just ordered the 9barista, and it should be here on 15 Feb Wednesday. So that will be interesting for espresso.
Just bought the Breville/ Sage version and am thusfar quite happy with it. I have a Breville Barista Express, but it's steaming function is a bit slow. So, heating/ frothing the milk whilst pulling the shot, does save you some time in the morning, especially if you make for more than one person. Texture wise it is, of course, not the same as steaming by hand, but it is acceptable for the time it saves you :)
Thanks for this review. I bought the Maestri House frother and have been very happy with it so far. I had a Nespresso frother, not the Aeroccino, which was fine, but I wanted to up the game a bit and have more options.
I have the Maestri House frother. It does go on sale for closer to the $80-100 range (it’s on sale right now). Three things to like about it: 1) With a 21oz capacity, it is roomy enough to make large lattes for two people at the same time. 2) The jug is all stainless steel with no spindle/peg on the bottom, so it’s very easy to clean, and there is no nonstick coating to get damaged or wear out from repeated heating. 3) With three ways to arrange the foaming attachment, it is even more customizable than Morgan was able to show in a brief review. When combined with the foam settings of the touchpad, you can go all the way from almost no foam at all to a thick, heavy foam you can scoop out with a spoon. Also, because the attachment sits flat in the jug, you’re able to mix in things like cocoa powder, matcha, spices, etc.. My other frother would get stuck when powders would get between the attachment and the spindle/peg that it sits on. I liked my other frother otherwise, but needed a replacement when it got damaged. I’ve had this one for three months now, and I’m very pleased with it.
So helpful, thanks!
Now a video on frothing different milks would be nice.
Oh, also, with the Maestri House, there's a layer of customization you didn't go over. You have the three temps, and the three foam settings on the machine itself... but you can also run the bare blades, blades plus spring, or blade, spring, and agitator cover, for least-medium-most foam as well. So low-foam, bare blades, won't foam at all (the blades just keep the milk moving to avoid hot spots), where the full mechanism and thick setting is legit thick dollopable milk. :)
I have that machine and what it does to almond milk is amazing. I use all three attachments and it froths almond milk just like cows milk. I also can put my collagen powder in with my milk and it handles it like a champ.
Very informative! Thank you for sharing ! ❤
Thanks, Morgan! I asked for the Maestri House for Christmas, and I love it!
I made a pair of _fabulous_ cappuccinos yesterday, and a pair of delicious lattes this morning (Joe - The Daily for my partner and GGET - Homeschool Blend for me for the cappos; Counter Culture - Hologram for my partner and Red Bay - Slow Burn for me for the lattes).
Textures were perfect, it's dead-silent, really easy to use, and even came with its own little cleaning sponge which was a nice touch. Great recommendation!
I also got an Aeropress and I have a KINGrinder K6 coming (Asian market version of the 1zpresso K-Plus, completely identical, but half the price) so I can start making my own instead of having to pay $90 a month for Cometeer. I'm getting a real setup! (Along with my Bonavita kettle and a pourover scale). Also just got a Trade subscription. :)
The fact that our school has 2 of the Breville ones just so brekky club can make hot chocolate.
Unrelated to the video but I would love a hair tutorial video because I’ve been obsessed with your hair ever since I started watching your content 🥵
New Home barista here trying to find the perfect milk foam/ steam for my lattes. Ty for doing this video
There is also the option of removing the coil to decrease the amount of foam they generate
I've had my Nespresso Frother for 3+ years and I didn't know there was a cold milk option, so thank you! 😅
I use cold foam for iced coffee and love it. Don’t want to warm up my iced coffee by topping it with warm foam. Awesome video, thanks!
Loved this video! Thank you! 😊
My grandma actually bought me a nespresso frother and I use it all the time! I usually make my coffee while the frother is working so that the 70-80 seconds go by quickly. Also, I'm pretty sure it goes for only about a minute if you're frothing the milk cold
