I saw this movie. It will not be what you expected It has a very slow start for a reason. It’s like watching what you think is going to be a train wreck. Like life, events will catch you off guard. I want to watch it again. It’s very true to life in Mexico as a resort traveller and a budget traveller. It’s about feelings in life we all have had but how life will always catch up with you. Its about running away but your life is right there reminding you you can’t escape. It’s really really good. I loved it.
I love Tom Roth. In all honesty I was about to stop this trailer as I was falling asleep in the first minute but then it's like a switch flipped and it got my brain wondering what the heck could be happening. This looks very promising as a suspense thriller.
i love TR too. i remember when i saw a trailer for "legend of 1900". the only reason i watched was him and i ended up loving the movie so much i got it on blu-ray.
A weird synchronicity, the song Sundown by Gorden Lightfoot has been stuck in my head my entire life. I never actually was aware that it was a Gorden lightfoot song?? I only just realize that cause I searched this movie trailor but Gordon Lightfoot was first... Sundown one of my all time favorite songs, fits the landscape of Penticton BC (My hometown) so beautifully.

I believe some sort of death in his immediate family has caused Roth’s character to not want to return for the proceedings. He pretends to lose his passport, but the trailer doesn’t reveal much.
I found this movie dreary, slow and deeply unsatisfying. All of its supposed nuances were obvious and plain. The only intrigue is waiting for the very slow and minimal plot to slowly unfold. It wasn't horrible but it was hardly entertaining and left me feeling cheated. More of a Made For TV quality drama whose only intrigue is the confusion it itself creates and tediously resolves.
I saw it; I would say just barely worth watching. I mean it's worth seeing Tim Roth and it's an interesting setting in Mexico, but the script is laughably ridiculous. I mean billionaires....really? The writer was just so lazy he obviously didn't even bother to develop a scenario appoaching any semblance of reality, and the few lines lines of dialogue that exist seem improvised, off the cuff. 2 out of 5. 💤

Yeah I enjoyed it, but i love budget travel to exotic places. Maybe thats why. Sometimes when my wife nags me i get why i he just stays there lol
