    This talk is severely underrated

Thank you so much for talking deeply about regenerative medicine, of the story of your career in medicine and as a scientist. I agree with you of regenerating cells, rather than the whole organ. Amazing woman. Lovely watching and listening to you here on the top of the mountain of Italy.

Hast du eigentlich schon jenes Wasserstoff Trinkwasser aus so einem Wasserstoffanreicherer jemals ausprobiert?
Dieses Wasser ist richtig fresh! 🌱
Es hilft einem echt fit zu sein ... 🌱

Amazing Ted Talk! That being said, this lady has certainly never watched any of the Star Wars movies.

Hopefully, one day we will have a cure or treatment for Empty nose syndrome! A debilitating illness

Now the new conversation is, that the technology is here and readily available, but the costs are astronomical while most insurance does not cover this therapy. So why are the rich the only ones to access this therapy. That’s what we should really have a conversation about

is there any kind of regenerative medicine that treat TBI or concussions?

As someone dealing with neurological damage, that's a question I'd love to hear the answer to.

I don't know. A hopeful video. I have been hearing about regenerative medicine for a long time though. I came across a paper dated 1985 referencing stem cells and we are still no where near the dream. While a lot of what she said is great and has me somewhat hopeful for the future, the bottom line is we aren't there. Even the guy she referred to with the spinal injury, after the initial injury, usually a patient will go through some recovery, so the fact that he has upper body movement probably has nothing to do with the treatment he received.

They have the capacity, but if it's accessible it won't be as costly and they won't be able to charge millionaires sky high prices to reverse their wrinkles.

Every new technology used to be for the rich only. Take the cellphone or the car. Used to be only for the wealthiest. Then it became accessible to the public.

I'm not sure if it will happend. If we will not have quantum computers for everyone then there will not be any regenerative medicine.

A lot of empty talk and lack of work. But also a lot of public grants $$$ so the future is saved. Their future ...
