Chase's wish to meet Jeff Skinner (Carolina Hurricanes)

- The Carolina Hurricanes and Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina teamed up to grant Chase's wish to meet his favorite hockey player, Jeff Skinner. Chase, who has a rare cancer, was able to watch the Hurricanes practice, meet the team and coaching staff, tour the locker room, and play street hockey with Jeff Skinner and teammates. Carolina Hurricanes general manager Ron Francis promptly signed Chase to a free agent contract after scoring 9 goals in the street hockey game.
I was smiling the whole video.
This was 6 years ago. I hope and pray that Chase is still okay, and is a Buffalo Sabres fan now. That's a tough one I know, and it wouldn't really be right to change horses like that. So that was tongue in cheek for sure.

@@TheYankeesfan1993 Often when a child is fighting a critical illness they will wear masks to help protect them from germs. It's a safety measure we see frequently with our wish families. This video is from 2017 and is very fitting with the climate today. :)
