We've been getting paid less to do what we do as physicians every year for 40 plus years. I laugh at my colleagues who get all upset because they took another cut and I'm like, where have you been for 30 years? This happens every year. What are you going to do to respond to it? How are you going to change? What are you going to do differently? Because your reimbursement is going down next
What does that do? Dabblers disappear. Because there's plenty of folks that get into anything in medicine and certainly vein care because the payment's good. And as the payment goes down, the dabblers or the people really not dedicated to the specialty are going to disappear. And we were already seeing that happen, right? In my area, there are several vein care outfits that have gone out of business.
