Step 1: Get a new power up
step 2: beat the major villain
step 3: start talking to the major villain before giving the major villain a chance to recover or escape
step 4: Get beaten by the same major villain after the villain transformed
Step 5: watch Goku take the win
Step 6: Train while being dissapointed/angry
step 7: repeat all over again

What I meant was that what villians has Goku defeated BY HIMSELF since he defeated Freeza on Namek? that's right,only Freeza in the ROF Saga. He lost to Cell, needed the Spirit Bomb, which has everyone's energy, to defeat Buu, had to use SSG against Beerus and still lost, definitely defeated Freeza on RoF arc, then forfeited against Hit as he wouldn't have lasted long anyway, then lost to Zamasu and Goku Black, then needed help from Freeza and 17 to beat Jiren and he still needed Vegeta's Spirit Fission technique and Uub's God Ki to beat Moro.

I think Vegeta’s new power he got in the manga will be useful in the future, it’s pretty much a hard counter to characters that absorb others or fuse. Not to mention, the Yardrats said that his base form got tremendously stronger too.

This video reminds me of the fact that I miss the training aspects of the series. I grew up watching all kinds of martial arts movies from the late 80's and 90's. Usually the training is a longer part of the movie than the big fight at the end. Super seems to have given up on this. They've done it a little, but most of it sucked. I did like the brief training between Trunks and Vegeta at the beginning of the Goku Black arc, though.
I think it's the trials and tribulations aspect that I miss. By comparison, most power ups just seem to show at random times without us seeing them put in the work for them.

The best thing about Vegeta is he is constantly growing. Not just in strength, but as a character. He matures, becomes a better person, he's not only a great character for being badass and strong, but also is great because he grows as a character too.

the anime version of how vegeta become a super saiyan is one of my fav scene for sure, i can legit feel what he is going thru, the tout of just giving it up. powerful stuff.

If Vegeta had grade 4, he would have treated it like he was in his base form, like Goku and Gohan.
In the 7 year time gap, yeah, he'd figure it out, no question, but during that time with the Cell games, he admitted Goku had a better chance against Cell than he would.
But how it's interpreted, anyone can theorize, but for me, Vegeta and Goku had the same/rounded level of power in base form, but mastered ssj might offeres more, then just conserving and better control over energy.
Vegeta is, by far; the best character in Dragonball. His character development has been the most complex (next to Piccolo imo) He has continued to grow and change for the better and it is great to watch. I loved watching him go from bad guy, to anti-hero, to legit hero (without him losing that edge to his personality).
You should do this again but with goku, i just like when you break things down and analyze things.
Quick note about "Perfected/Mastered SSJ Blue" (15:03):
That's another manga-only form of SSJ Blue with absorbed aura. Goku uses it first against Zamasu and Vegeta later masters it as well prior the ToP showing it while fighting Beerus. It's different to "Super Saiyan Blue Evolution" which is seen in both anime and manga (with the difference explained in the video).
Vegeta is one of my favorite characters and I love him I like his character, personality and his design looks lit.

Exactly! Saiyan power is not ONLY near death boost, it is during a tough fight, after recovery of ANY injury (although the highest boosts are from near death obviously)
