Bajé la temperatura de mi x96 max plus con root bajando la frecuencia del procesador a 1.200 Mhz y el gobernador. Y asombroso la temperatura unos 72° estables y en 4K no pasa de 80° celsius. Conseguí eliminar los reinicios y la TV BOX va rápido igual.
I own the a95x f3 4gb/64gb version. It's great. There is sometimes the rare playback issue in high bitrate 4k files but like in 1 out of every 10 files.
Wish the audio output was a bit better over HDMI.

Hi i have an t96 mars box and the cpu temperature is from 50°c to 67 sometimes and at 55°c all the time,

Hard to say, all boxes are very good in my honest opinion. I had a small issue with the H96 Max X3 when I was playing one video (check the review) and for some reason I couldn't finish the Antutu test in this video. Other than that nothing to point out, all boxes did a good job ;)
I did a test. Thermal pad that is in between cpu and metal plate ues long time to transfer heat.
I opened x96 air and did a test? The thermal pad was vamere on one side of the thermal pad.
the solution is to use a thick aluminum bit in between and thin thermal pad on the weather side.

do a test with units upside down. air vents should be on top unless there is a fan.

I just got the A95X F3 4gb/64gb version, it seems to run very hot though, i just streamed for an hour in 1080 resolution in Kodi and the temperature topped out at 80 degres C, it worked just fine though. I read a lot about this box and that it was supposed to have a decent temperature compared to some other boxes more in the range that you got, maybe they made some hardware change that affects the temperature. The lack of decent ventilation in all these boxes is ridiculous though, everybody know that heat rises and what do they do, they make ventilation holes only in the bottom and in the case of the A95X F3 roughly only a 10th of the bottom part, the glued on CPU coolers are also very small. I may have to do some modifications down the line, after having searched the web i have found that this problem seems to be very common with these boxes and some people mod them with bigger heatsinks and more ventilation holes and even fans, that shouldnt be necessary though when you buy a finished product.
It has worked fine for streaming so far though in spite of the high temperature, the only other problem i have run into is that you cant turn off the wifi (i use ethernet) then you get a message that the bluetooth keeps crashing, it seems they are on the same chip or something, there doesnt seem to be a way to turn off bluettooth either, i think in my old MXQ box that this box replaced there were separate switches in the menues for both.

@@MasterKoala777 The MXQ box that i used before i used for 5 years so its a first generation amlogic 905 CPU with just 1gb ram and 8 gb of storage, but it had been acting up for a long time so it really was time to get a new one, i dont know anything about any other MXQ ones. The A95X F3 came highly recomended by some reviewers that seemed to know what they were talking about as a good affordable budget TV box, but these reviewers said the temperature was fairly low like over 10 degres less than i got. As i mentioned i may make some modifications for the cooling down the line like drilling holes in the box for ventilation (which should in my opinon already be there from the factory) and maybe other things. Now after my previous post i have tested just using a ordinary 12 v computer case fan that i had laying around running at 5 volt powered by an external power supply that i also had with the box placed directly on top of it and the fan resting on feet that are about 1 cm high or so to let air in and its virtually noiseless and helps getting the core temperature down by about 5-10 degres C according to my testing the last couple of days. This could make a lot of difference since i am now topping out at 70-73 degres instead of 80 degres, at 80 degres you might get into a temperature range where the CPU may be throtteled and you may lose performance. Besides the CPU temperature which is apparently a problem with many of these boxes unfortunately i am very satisfied with this box, it works very well for what i want out of it which is basicaly just for streaming TV mainly using Kodi, i only stream in max 1080 currently since its the resolution of my old TV. Im probably not gonna do any mods for quite a while since the box is very new and still under warranty and the fan solution which didnt cost me a dime seems to help get the temperature down to a still somewhat high but acceptable temperature, with the fan the temperature also comes down faster when not streaming . The fan is slightly larger than the box which results in not only just cooling the bottom of the box but also creating a air flow around all the sides of the box when centered on the fan. BTW dont expect to be able to use it with Netflix or some other of these kind of services for HD or 4K resolution, for that you need a box that its certified for this (you may alredy know this). I was never planning on using it with Netflix or similar myself so i went with this box.
@@Stefan-Does A95X F3 both read & write external storages (HDDs, SSDs, flaskdisks) via USB? This is important to me since I would use this as a 'download center' in addition to streaming & browsing. I would like to be able to download torrents directly to external (using Flud app) which Ive been doing with my old & cheap HK1 Super box. However Hk1 is now sometimes randomly restarting itself after over 2 years of use. I initially wanted to buy F4 but I read on a review site it could only read external, can't write. Also F4 using AndroidTV OS when I prefer Android mobile OS. Have you tried copying/moving files from internal to externals also downloading directly to externals using A95X F3? Hope you would answer me about this. Also do you find any problems other than heat? Thx Stefan!
@@Kashkha7 Since you asked so nicely I just tested with both an old 1GB USB stick and an old WD elements 3.5" 320GB external drive with external power (both USB 2.0) and i could at least copy files to and from both of them using the filebrowser thats in the box without any problems and im using a wireless mouse with a USB receiver to control the box BTW through the other USB connector. I can of course not guarantee it would work for your application, i havent used torrents for many years and never on android, just windows. I also wouldnt count on being able to power an external HDD from the box, but it may work, i dont have any to test with that is USB powered. Sound strange that a box couldnt write to a USB storage i must say, but what do i know. I have been very satisfied with the box, it has worked very good, my cooling solution does the job OK for my use and while i would prefer to be able to shut off the Wifi and bluetooth it really isnt an issue.
If you are going to compare temperature between them then you need to see which processor they have. one with weaker cpu is obviously colder

I have H96 Max X3, and did shutdown a couple of times when picture freezes. I'm not sure if it's due overheating or cuz system bug

The Magicsee N5 plus goes very fast above 70°C when playing 4K or even high bitrate 1080P.
If it stays more than a minute or so around 75°C it will reboot.
Very poor box that one.

We need more of these. X88 pro X3 has the same issue as the last 2. 70s is way too high. These boxes will burn out quickly. Get a fan if you have one of these boxes. Only an extra 5 bucks. Box will run better too.

These test are stupid because you won't get anything for a long run of these boxes.. IE binging few seasons of a show at 4k.. Because, that's what everyone is going to use it for. Test are useless, but hey, there it is...
