Most of the tracks in this set are 25-15 years old. DNB is a genre that will stick around as other electronica drops off. New kids getting into the scene today are just discovering the tracks I have been listening to for 20 years. Fantastic!

How he squeezed in the Hold On remix so quickly after teasing Deadline and Dred Bass at the same time, seems quite a mystery. You couldn’t pull it off with regular vinyl, for sure.

@@Daized2009 I think each set this year was awesome (Andy C, Excision, Funtcase, the Monstercat Showcase, Sub Focus & Wilkinson, the dubstep b2b2b for example). The line up was more impressive last year but it was a pretty solid Rampage imo. The only thing is there wasn't enough neurofunk

I've listened to DnB since 1998, there are COUNTLESS amazing DJs in this great scene. My favourite has always been Mampi. New favourites are folks like A.M.C. But, with respect to anybody that disagrees with Andy being the best in the world, until anyone else can sell out tours worldwide just on the back of their own name ALONE, Andy will still be the best. This set is living proof of his skill. He doesn't just mix to an excellent standard, he doesn't just select at the highest level, he tells a story. Every. Single. Time. But, regardless of who's the best and who are favourites, I think we can all agree that we are lucky to have such a thriving scene full of talented people. As someone said to me 20 years ago, "they all make it what it is" ❤

We waked my cousin with a hardcore rave a few days after he passed on back in 97. The energy was crazy with all the raw emotion and copious amounts of mdma.

@Jay yeah man he's using traktor but even so the man smashed it on vinyl for fuckin years I saw him years ago holding records between his legs ready to load on quick for the next double drop he's by far an away the best I've ever seen..
@Jay he used to do this with Vinyl but his case didn't show up to one of his international shows and he switched to Traktor. I've seen him pull this sort of shit with vinyls and it's mental.

First time I saw Andy c was in leicester at hysteria in early 90s. Still smashing the scene
What an anticipation. 2018, the bar was set hiiiigh... Having watched/listened to that performance so many times I basically know it by heart, this one could almost be classified as Part 2. Last year was sort of an introductory, and this year's crowd got served with a more complex follow-up. There was no ''ultra king drop'' at half-time like last year. That FTW show was in a sense linear from start to finish, with a few moments that can be considered its pinnacle, but here is where he left us guessing what would be next all the time. Speaking of which, good on them- the crowd was noticeably more alive than last year, when in spite of Andy laying it down it looked like many of them needed the first 30 minutes to wake up. But here they kept pace with Andy, who at times also almost gave the impression of being just one of the crowd. Which is great. I imagine three quarters of this show is how most of his club sets turn out.
The Come Together remix was among those moments that impressed (it helped that he beat Technique International crew to it :)), so the set will likewise get onto the workplace playlist. It definitely has to sink in more than last year's to be understood, so to speak.
Also, many folks from last year's Rampage were present here. Shout out to 'the teeth brusher'. :D Still sporting many festival bracelets on your arm, nice.
