I still own my Moto Z1 it's still working great thinking about switching soon to the 4 since it has a headphone jack.
They could still give it a snapdragon 710. Mid range specs isn't the greatest and the phone is literally 500 while there are phones like Nubia red magic 3 with a snapdragon 855 chip inside it.

Finally. A reviewer talking about 'THE MODS'. I have a projector mod. It blows peoples minds. (On my 1st edition z play that was released 4 years ago and cost 130 usd).
i got a moto g7 power for 15 bux and no contract and am blown away by it. i used to be sony xperia only then i got a note 5 but i think im moto midrange only from now on. they have no bloatware, i live on my phone and i dont have to charge it for 3 days at a time
I know its the best thing since slice bread. I bought a projector sat on my patio and watched the merriweather fight on it.
The projector is amazing. During the summer we watch movies in the pool after the kids go to bed, no need to hook up a pricey projector to laptop outside, just the ol phone.

Lawrence Lyman I can’t figure out how to change the text notification sound on my phone. Do you know how? After going to messages and then settings and then notifications it doesn’t give an option to change the volume or sound.

I just ordered the Moto z4, my z force has been my favorite for the last three years, I paid $60 for a new battery and it's still not working. I feel so much better purchasing the z4 after watching your video. I have all the same Moto mods except wireless charging. Which I will purchase soon. Same here. In my experience, Motorola has always had great battery life and the best reception of any phone manufacturer.
They could they just need to come up with a phone that got like 8 gigs of RAM the latest processor the cameras are good enough and boom there you go.
What are you talking about... This is the first "moto z" with a mid range processor.. moto always has been in the budget flagship territory... Pretty sure the upcoming z4 force will feature a 855 processor

I enjoyed the Moto Z2 Play when I had it. I'd definitely buy it...when the price drops like the Z2 Play. Verizon customers should jump on it because it is a whopping $240 and you could get the 5G Mod. That's amazing value.

@Nina Arce Ethier of those are great computers but I really don't think Verizon is gonna have that so called 5g network anytime soon atleast not what the FCC considers 5g so whatever you choose don't choose just for 5g unless you see hands on proof.

I absolutely love the Z line. I have a huge collection of mods for it, but I'm worried that after this model, they're gonna discontinue the line of phones based on only having the mid-range model. I thought the Z2 Force was the peak of the line, and I own the Z3 as of now. Great phone. But I'm disappointed that there is no Z3 or Z4 Force model.
By the way Floss, why didn't you review the Z3?
I think they'll keep it going. It's the most innovative phone out there. Because the Z3 sucked ass. 😁 That's why they're giving the damn things away. 🤣😂 And still can't get rid of them. 🤔

@@HavenMarches The design of the 3rd generation is its biggest flaw (currently owning one). Glossy frame, glossy plain back are prone to scuffs and fingerprints. I know we can put on bumper or style mods, but sometimes I like using them naked and the unique designs from previous gens are missing.
I love the JBL speaker mod, seems great for watching CZcams.

I love Motorola, I've been using Moto sice the Moto x, back when Moto maker was available, I sure do miss motomaker where you could customize your device to any color combo one wanted. Mine was unique.
Motorola is one of the phone OG's. They need to start acting like it. They were around when smartphones weren't even an idea. Same with Nokia.

Totally irrelevant to the video but when I opened my s10+ box I plucked and filed it to the side and my wife was like wtf are you doing? I had to show her one of your videos to get her to understand.

I just bought a moto Z3 play for like 250 bucks. Has a moto mod battery in it already and it is a complete steal at that price. Sure its last years model but who cares? Great feel, fast UI, insane battery life which is even more ridiculous with the mod slapped on. The only real problem for me is the lack of 3.5' jack but i worked around that so its ok.

@@quisothaman3809 Okay for starters...LA is huge. Nothing is close. If you wanna go to disney land...its 30 miles away from Down town LA.
- The traffic isn't that bad if you know when are where to drive...but the traffic you see in the movies is REAL, just avoidable.
- LA is hella diverse, but all the ethnic groups are grouped together in their own areas. (I have a friend who grew up in a chinese neighboorhood and honestly she could have lived her entire life without ever needing to learn english, see a non chinese person, or had american food).
- They make movies here. Sometimes you see movie sets. DO NOT GO ON SET.
- Not everyone has a valley girl accent. Yes its as gross as it sounds on tv.
- Hiking is a pasttime here. My wife loves it. I do not. Luckily that brings me to the next point:
- The food is so good here...and its all types of authentic food from every culture.
- Oh yeah ... its 20million people here...so there is a lot of crime. A lot. Its proportionate, but still a lot. Nothing insane like Bones or NCIS, but stuff happens all over LA.
Those are just some of the things I can think about.
My advice...don't move here. Move to San Diego or the Inland Empire. There's too many people here.

So excited. I really want to move to Huntington Beach because its gorgeous and like you said you don't get that "valley" feel (my girl grew up in Malibu btw so she would know the difference lol) and it's pretty much a beach town which I really like. I'm going into real estate actually, and I'm starting my classes tomorrow! Only 19 young but I'm ready to experience la to the fullest 🙏

Always tempted to get another moto mod phone after my original z play but it seems like Motorola never really followed thru on this infrastructure. Limited or hard to find mods like the wireless charging plate, no cases that make room for mods or access to mod port, and no support on innovation to produce more mods

There was a major camera update out of the box. Night Vision mode was added for extreme lowlight and fixed video and camera issues. You could get a better camera demo after! Overall great video. I love my Z4, pics and vids are amazing. And JBL SOUNDBOOST 2 is my life!

I've had the Z since the 1 and I have all the mods. I really can't see having any other phone. It's an affordable all in 1+some extra. 👽 We had a power outage a few weeks ago and lemme tell ya, that projector mod paired with a couple external chargers really hit the spot. 😁

What really keeps this phone up to date is the Polaroid photo 🖨️ mod. It prints a mini sticker picture of whatever you take a picture of on the spot
Here in Colombia 🇨🇴 the moto z3 play comes with the speaker and it's great, it's a shame that the rest of ťhe mods are way to expensive and hard to find, I want the battery and the projector!!! It seems great, thanks for your review

Flossy, you gotta get the soundboost 2, far superior to the original you just download the JBL Soundboost 2 App from the play store it features an equilizer and Dirac Panorama Sound, it fits better in the hand, (ladies 😊) and has a little fabric material over the grill so its not so slippery or cheap feeling, I leave this Mod on and switch up when needed
