No need to buy ready folded napkins. This tutorial will teach you how to create a perfect bishops hat out of a ordinary table napkin. Napkin folding is a great way to add a little extra something to your dinning table layout. It's sure to impress your dinner guests.
1.) Make sure that when you start, the labels and tags are facing towards you.
2.) Fold the napkin in half by taking the side furthest away form you to the edge closest to you.
3.) Take the top right corner and fold it diagonally so it meets the center of the bottom edge.
4.) Repeat the same napkin folding technique as in the previous step but with the left corner.
5.) Now you need to flip the entire napkin over. This is best done it you pivot the napkin on the bottom left corner. The following napkin folding instructions will be given as if you have flipped the napkin in the mentioned way.
6.) Take the bottom edge and fold it in half so it meets the top edge. making sure you only take the top layer. You should be left with a triangle pointing towards you.
7.) Now reach underneath the right hand side and pull out the lose section of napkins. The napkin should now look like two triangles pointing towards you.
8.) lift up the right hand side triangle so its going away from you.
9.) Now with your left hand take the left most point (of the left triangle) and fold that in half from left to right
10.) Reverse the napkin fold you made in step 8
11.) Flip the entire napkin over once more this time flipping it away from you.
12.) Fold the right had side of the napkin (the right triangle) in half from left to right making sure that you tuck the corner inside of the left triangle.
13.) Pick the napkin up and using both hands gently press one both sides making the napkin open up in the middle.
14.) Napkin folding usually takes a bit of practice or slight adjustment once you have finished. If you're finding this too difficult or are pressed for time, head over to our website and check out the beginners/intermediate sections.

Super nice. Sadly it didn't work for me as I have thin microfiber napkins. But will try with stiffer products ^_^

Great bit of advice for everyone using paper napkins. If you're still struggling to make it stay get out the iron!

(The cheesy music sounds like an old nasty movie from the 1970's.) And, would you please slow this down? It's very frustrating trying to follow you... I do like the end result, though.

HowToFoldNapkins Thanks! I appreciate that. And, I did fold ten Bishop's Hats for each place setting for my 2014 Easter dinner and put a filled Easter egg in each. They looked great!!

***** Hello Wendy. I'm glad that it was helpful to you. I really like the idea of putting an Easter egg in the middle.
