This entire episode in the Church is testing our knowledge. It's up to us to know the truth, speak the truth and defend the truth. I'm so grateful I listened to Mother Angelica. Because of her, I was brought back to our beautiful Church...and we all know she spoke the truth.
You would not know truth if you had it stamped on your forehead. The religious are ludicrous & avoided like the old women with too many cats. Freud wrote the antidote to Christianity is literacy. Nothing fails like prayers in a children's hospital. Who sends their children to prophet trade-school? If there were a god, then would there be any demand for scripture interpretations by various podium-jockeys using fantasyland vocabulary? These are the religious, the wolves in sheep's clothing. Even Jesus says faith is worthless or you could order mountains to move about. The scam works with faith & prayers, suggesting we all should travel with one foot in their fantasyland. Theologians acquire grand titles without certification from a deity, & project certainty using fantasyland vocabulary in an academic setting to compensate for lack of reason. We really should address the social acceptance of large numbers of people speaking a fantasyland vocabulary & openly indulging in the deceit of religious belief as a tool of fascism. It was secular law & order ending the inquisitions & witch-killings. The Christians slapped their books on the Old Testament, & the Mormons glued theirs on to them both, thus proving Christians lack quality-control. As if God does not have a perfect record of doing nothing, as if we had no reason for the saying: God helps those helping themselves.

I find that those who have a solid devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and pray the rosary with the heart every day are usually not led astray. She always points us to her Son and leads us to the shortest path to Him.
There have always been Judas's in the Church. The difference today is there is a desire to gloss over, minimize & promote unity over truth by Prelates to the point that this has actually promoted more heresy & more Judas's. I was told to stay with the truth 3 years ago. My priest said this when I asked him about blatant blasphemy I witnessed during a NO mass. You are giving the same instruction now. You are correct, it does work to defeat current confusion and heresy. It also works to strengthen us in defending the Church. I will also advise all to attend only the TLM if possible. I think it is also very powerful to accept ALL TEACHINGS OF THE TRADITIONAL deposit of the faith. Stop picking and choosing, accept it all.
It is Francis' stated intention that everyone return to the mass of Paul VI. Diocesan 1962 missal masses have been reduced. What if all 1962 masses are removed, including groups like the FSSP and ICKSP?

Most bishops have faith in secular humanism and will wield their power (like twisting church teaching) to further that cause. THEY don't really believe that Jesus was God or in revelation. They find scripture and teachings historically quint but malleable. They DO BELIEVE that they GENERATE truth and have a personal, divine mandate to do what they want.

weird that my Catechism was missing, so bought another one and even before all this heresy I felt like it was time for another read. Just about to finish the book "and Intro to the devout life" Saint Francis De Sales, for the second time, and now anxious to plow into the Catechism again. But this time I'm wiser and I know I need this knowledge for my salvation. I'm not afraid and not ashamed of the work my Lord did for me.
This "big problem" began decades ago. I recommend the book, "Iota Unum: A Study of Changes in the Catholic Church in the Twentieth Century" by Romano Amerio.

Sometimes knowing the faith and having all the documents still doesn't do any good. I met with my priest for 90 minutes over the way he was conducting Mass, pointing to all the rubrics and the catechism, and in the end, he leaned back and said, "I know I'm not supposed to be doing these things, but I like them, so I'm going to continue doing them". He also assured me that he had the backing of our bishop. Case closed, I guess.

Ralph, I try to say my daily rosary along with some CZcams videos. I have noticed AI Mechanical voices and this is also done with what appear to be legitimate Catholic prayers. I feel some of this has a potential for evil. I would rather have a real human cough, clear his throat etc than a perfect machine talking. My favorite is Fr. Pillari as he is real talking about the things of the day. Do you have any thoughts on the AI prayers?
I love Fr. Pillari! I agree with you about AI-generated prayers. There was a channel that had seasonal meditations that sounded robotic. Prayers should not be robotic.
More than that, there are whole YT accounts with bland generic names (not a person’s name) and well presented videos, but kind of hollow because there is no human experience in it. The reader is a generated voice.
God is separating yhe wheat from the chaff esp taking out holy priests. Bl. Mother may not want her sons mixed in most churches. Thats how I see it. I begged & begged my children back to the faith. Today , after i raised them in church catholic and taught 14 grandkids about the holy family and begged them to baptise,catechism and still continued being , helping them raise their own- God said enough. Now they have nothing to do with me. It hurt my feelings at first. Now( all this separation took place just recently 7-23) Today jesus told me his undying love for me. The pope can add to and "develop" the CCC in anyway he chooses. The code of canon law is also at his whim. It was arranged like this based on the principle that the Holy Spirit would not allow the papacy to fail.

But we are not aware of this, because of our lack of a personal relationship with God and His Word.
I bought the book Catechism of the Catholic Church approved by John Paul 2 and the lastest book Credo by Bshp Anthansius Schneider. Highly recommend both.

Yeah, there seems to be a number of would-be-prophets who enjoy having their own flocks and who like making fantastic claims. I don’t disbelieve all prophecy, but some of statements made by alleged seers are stretched pretty far. I will say this though: I will agree with them on more practical matters like when they advocate saying more rosaries, more Divine Mercy Chaplets, and advocate fasting, penance, prayer, and Eucharistic Adoration. I’m completely on board with that.
Why would we be surprised about this momment? Jesus asks the question, somewhat rhetorically, "when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" Our job, is simple but not easy. We need to respect Church authority, but stay faithful to what God has revealed through scripture and Sacred Tradition.
What I'm.finding us the Catholics I meet at mass are quite comfortable at the moment... most don't seem to want to enter into the changes and just are not saying anything about it all its a taboo subject .no one us talking about it...the woke culture doesn't help either

History repeats itself. The Catholic church had her dark periods. Dark periods of the Catholic church proves that the gates of hell shall not prevail. God allows these periods to prove the truth.
I heard an introduction to a "pride" mass that was held in San Francisco and the priest said "all are welcome", everyone stands equally before the table of the lord", rich/poor gay/straight, etc. Those words, to me, do not sound heretical. But it's a pride mass and we know the priest is inviting everyone to participate in the Eucharist without repentance. #1 I would not be at a pride mass. But how do we combat the use of language to make acceptable what is sinful?

God has a plan and He made it known from the very beginning. Jesus came to fulfil not to change the Old Testament. I believe we all need to read and know the content of 'The Song of Moses.' The Last Will and Testament of Moses has all the warnings of how things deteriorate when we step away from God's plan. The Gospels and New Testament readings are lessons on how to stay faithful to God's plan, following Jesus all the way to the end. IMHO

What concerns me is the loss of souls. I suspect many lgbt Catholic's will be encouraged by this declaration as a vindication of lgbt way of life and will expect further accommodation of the lgbt way of life. We will be held responsible for knowing the truth and following it. We need to know scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. As Jesus said, 'I know my sheep and my sheep know me. They know me and hear my voice and will not follow another'. We won't be able to blame our ignorance on anyone else.

Sometimes knowing the faith and having all the documents still doesn't do any good. I met with my priest for 90 minutes over the way he was conducting Mass, pointing to all the rubrics and the catechism, and in the end, he leaned back and said, "I know I'm not supposed to be doing these things, but I like them, so I'm going to continue doing them". He also assured me that he had the backing of our bishop. Case closed, I guess.

I have noticed AI Mechanical voices and this is also done with what appear to be legitimate Catholic prayers. I feel some of this has a potential for evil. I would rather have a real human cough, clear his throat etc than a perfect machine talking.

Yeah, there seems to be a number of would-be-prophets who enjoy having their own flocks and who like making fantastic claims. I don’t disbelieve all prophecy, but some of statements made by alleged seers are stretched pretty far. I will say this though: I will agree with them on more practical matters like when they advocate saying more rosaries, more Divine Mercy Chaplets, and advocate fasting, penance, prayer, and Eucharistic Adoration. I heard an introduction to a "pride" mass that was held in San Francisco and the priest said "all are welcome", everyone stands equally before the table of the lord", rich/poor gay/straight, etc. Those words, to me, do not sound heretical. The Last Will and Testament of Moses has all the warnings of how things deteriorate when we step away from God's plan.
