Monica’s yard is just beautiful. You can tell how excited she is about it. So fun to see sisters sharing their gardening passion. I love watching your videos and you have made me want to be in my yard so more this season. I’ve added two new beds and widened two beds. I’m turning 70 this Friday and I truly believe working in my yard more has helped me stayed strong and healthy. Playing in the dirt is so good for our physical and mental health. Thank you for sharing your love and tips for gardening.

I’ve been watching for years and this has to be the best season of videos yet. Between the pond and all the magic still being made on your own property, and the two brand new family member gardens in spaces closer to many of our yard sizes, it’s been such an education, but also just FUN. Well done and many congrats on this dream backyard oasis. Hope to see more updates as things settle in and grow. How fun to plant with your sister. Her yard has come a long way. And so healthy. Her backyard is a good example of what can be done in a more narrow yard. It looks so much bigger now and super manageable. Each section has its own unique look.

The sprinkler moment had me laughing out loud! 😂 Her yard looks incredible. The transformation is so satisfying and inspiring. I recently started moving dirt to create some levels. My property is mostly flat. But there’s just enough variation that I’m able to create some dynamics by lowering the low areas and raising the higher spots. It’s amazing what some intentional levels and a tiny bit of hardscape can do to define a space and give the garden a sense of order & intent. Thanks for sharing her lovely space

I was going to let my red begonias go with the winter, until I saw yours. Now they are going in the protected solarium for next year.

Tip for Monica, if she put some cattle panel down the center of her raised bed the tomatoes could be tied to it and grow very tall without falling over. Works great for smaller spaces.
You two could do a video cooking something yummy with Monica’s rhubarb too.
