Honestly, Jared played the role so disturbingly well. He wasn't just passionate about his character, or deeply attached: he BECAME his character, and he did it with such ease and elegance, it's kind of ridiculous. Watching him was absolutely wonderful.
In the end of the film I wanted Rayon to be real, in «real life», as if the character deserved it. He really became the character - well written.
He is like that in every role. Since My so-called life series.
"He is helping you, I have AIDS" oh God, that is such a beautiful line. It's one of those lines that when you hear if you get a lump in your throat 😢
I really really love how passionate he is with his character and of the making of the film... He's so talented and he's such an inspiration!
this scene is what will win him the Oscar. hell, his whole performance is what will win him the Oscar. When this comes out worldwide you guys need to run to see it. i bawled my eyes out, but it was incredible.

This was my favorite scene from the movie. Jared Leto is exquisite.
The character was painfully true and sad and wonderful. All the respect to Jared and the producers.
Note how Jared says "When I went to see my father... ". He still IS Rayon.

Watched this movie for first time yesterday & just thought was a brilliant film & Jared & Matthew were just awesome & both deserved the accolades s they received for the film
What a once in a lifetime role for Jared and he did it so convincingly and marvelously! and what a very touching scene indeed... HE WILL WIN !!! If not, he will still be the winner to me :) GOOD LUCK JARED!
This is War is an Epic testimony to rock and roll. Never underestimate 30stm. Jared knows this is where his heart is. The truth of the music is what helps him be such a human actor. In our prayers Jared.
I think I was never so touched by a film character like Rayon! For me, Rayon is an own person, during the whole movie I never thought of Jared when I looked at her - i was just seeing her.
I think he's one of the most beautiful looking men I've ever seen needless to say a great great actor this film had me crying the whole way through im glad I watched it on my own...
Rayon was actually transferred to Arkham near the end of the film;)
Rayon does not have a big scene. Every single second is legendary.
💜I love Jared Leto, he's a very talented actor,singer/artist. I enjoyed this film a lot more because of the many dimensions of struggle an individual has and the Character Rhaion truly captured this and immediately pulled my heart strings and struck that perfect chord in the number of emotions through out this film. I agree she was the heart of this film. Great perfomance Jared.💜😢Great film💜👏

As a man living with HIV I found the film to be very touching. I know several Trans women, and wish them lots of happiness as they come to feel comfortable in their new (old) sex. Gpd bless you all, and also Zack, who is transitioning from female to male! I love you all, and wizh u uncountable joys as you live your authentic lives. Bless each and every one of you. And all LGBTQQIA folks every where.

Jared Leto is an Academy Award and a Golden Globe winner for a reason.
