The search is narrowing down for who will be succeeding Sudden Lights for Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Tonight, 15 hopefuls took the stage for the Supernova Semi-final where 10 acts kept their chances alive and will move onto the Final next week.

He improved his staging so he gets my support, even though I was a Katrina Stan like you (YOU DO HAVE TASTE IN MUSIC NOOSH!). I reckon it will give Latvia a good jury result but not so much a televote result but I think Latvia are definitely in the final. Due to all the fun songs, this will probably do quite well as it stands out.

Hey there, totally feel you on that. Talking about it just seems kinda pointless, right? There's so much more to making a song a hit than just having killer vocals. Don is definitely one of the top singers this year in my book, but you know how it goes - sometimes it's just not quite enough. 🤷♂best of luck from Lithuania !
As a Swede I really think this song have a chance and I believe it can be top 10 in the big final.
It would look cool if he was on the back of a stage that raises as he sings the chorus and perhaps rain starts to fall! That would look really cool! The song needs a climax … like Storm Estonia 🌧️

Clearly this is for the older audience. And that's okay. This will probably do just like ALIKA last year, qualified as 10th place, but Juries made it have a great result.

2:18 he absolutely does look like he's in scrubs. This song isn't my favorite, but it gives off the same kind of vibes as Beautiful Mess or Arcade, both of which did very well. Also you should check out the live performance of The Cat's Song. It's even better than the semis.
Devastated that Vestules lost, but this is nice, and has potential to get them back in the final! (edit: why does supernova STILL not have a live audience? did they blow all the budget on the stage and cameras?
The studio is small and if you look at behind the scenes video - the rest of the studio is filled with tech and staff
@@NQstreak they could just try renting out a bigger studio unless there is not enough public interest for supernova
@@baxthered that means additional funds are needed. They are filming this in one of the studios of LTV, so there are no costs of renting out a studio
If the Eurovision version has that mood of the official video, the bald headed men, the dragging to the grave… definitely translates better. The song is amazing, the staging has to be something similar to Gjons tears, which translated perfectly. Just my opinion
