    Lite Kits Also Available: tinyurl.com/2p8ref8p
    ********************
    Hoping this will be the first of many cup tutorials!
    Materials used in this video:
     20oz Slurp Tumbler from The Stainless Steel Depot
     Nitrile Gloves
     220 grit sandpaper
     4mm DIY Bling Kit
    o Kit Includes:
    One case of ss16 (4mm) AB Glass Rhinestones (also available in ss20/5mm)
    One tray of filler AB Glass Rhinestones (ss3-ss16)
    One wax pick-up pen w/ 2 replacement heads
    One 5ml glue syringe (soon to be replaced with a 50ml precision tip bottle)
    One precision tip tweezers
    One 2oz bottle Aleene's Liquid Fusion Performance Adhesive
    Jet Black Glass Rhinestone stacker (available to purchase with the kit, click the link above)
    I stated this in the video but just to be clear, there are enough stones in the kit to do a 20oz skinny tumbler OR the BODY of a 20oz slurp/dome tumbler. If your intention is to do a dome tumbler you will need to get one extra bag of ss16/4mm glass rhinestones. They are typically sold in 10gross (1440 pc) bags, that will be enough. You’ll also need a bag of ss12/3mm glass rhinestones if you do the lid exactly as I did. This is explained in the video.
    I created this DIY Bling Kit to fulfill a need I saw in the rhinestone tumbler community, particularly for beginners. At this time, I haven’t decided if I want to become a full blown rhinestone supplier, so I don’t carry the extra stones needed for the lid. Those stones can be found on Amazon or with FabCabCases (a trusted supplier I used to get my stones through).

    **AS AN UPDATE TO THIS VIDEO AND MY CRYSTAL AB DIY BLING KIT!!**
    I have decided to increase the amount of stones included in my DIY Bling Kit. So far this only applies to the Crystal AB kit as I need to sell through current stock before it can apply to the Jet Black or Tanzanite kits. The kit now includes enough stones to do a 20oz Skinny, 30oz Skinny, or 20oz Dome tumbler.
    If you are planning to do a dome tumbler using my kit you no longer need to purchase an additional bag of your main stone. However, you will still need the additional bag of ss12/3mm

      For size, I guess that would be based on the style cup you're doing. Remember 20oz is the size regardless. But, if you're doing a skinny 4mm or 5mm will work. If you're doing tapered I think 5mm will be better. I started following someone recently who works with the Starbucks cups and she uses 5mm and her lines are basically perfect. I'm actually waiting on her to drop her tutorial. I haven't had a chance yet to try 5mm on the tapered, but I'm thinking that's the key to not using so much fillers on the body of the cup.

    • @DesignsByAngee
      @DesignsByAngee  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi 😊 Thank you so much for the compliments. I didn't mention it in the vid, but I can say approx 5,500 stones are used on the cup, including the lid. I'm not sure of the time it took me to do it. I never try and do my cups all in one day/sitting. I'll typically do the decal and the first half of the body one day, the second half of the body the 2nd day, and the lid the 3rd day. This keeps from putting to much pressure on myself and possibly making a mistake.

    1) How do you wash the cup with all those tiny gems on it?

    I think that's it for right now.

      Hi 😊
      1) You can wash it with a scrub brush or sponge

      3) Liquid Fusion is industrial but non-toxic.

      Hi Llianna. Thank you so much for your kind words. I really appreciate them 🙏🏾😊
      Funny that you ask how much for just the stones because for a while I've been considering making a "Lite" version of the kit for those who already have the tools. I will get back to you tomorrow with a price, I have to look at the numbers.
      At this time the full kit will be limited to Crystal AB, Jet Black, and Crystal. However, I am hoping to greatly expand my selection of loose rhinestones throughout this year. That way even without a whole kit available the loose stones will be there, and I can help people make sure they order the right amount and size

      Hi again. So I can do one case of stones and a filler tray for $32.99. It would be the same amount of stones as in the full kit.
      This would be considered an introductory price until I figure out packaging and all that.

    • @13shm
      @13shm Před 2 lety

      That price sounds good but I like even numbers so $30ea would be even better. I want to order that (Lite Kit) in the Blk + Crystal AB in addition to a few other items I saw on your site. If you make all the colors available to add to the cart I will place an order this weekend. I also want the set of rhinestone trays those are super cute and I need some. Let me know once it’s good to go, I would definitely be a repeat customer as you have made it easy to order and I like easy!
      Suggestion: You should also add the glue to sell separately under your “Craft Supplies” section, it will sell.

    • @DesignsByAngee
      @DesignsByAngee  Před 2 lety +1

      @@13shm Hi Llianne 😊 The price would remain at $32.99 for the Lite Kit, if you're still interested. I can make the kit in your requested colors and ship the other items you're interested in. However, the items wouldn't ship until Tuesday as I'm closing for the weekend, I have work to do away from home.
      And thank you for the suggestion 🙏🏾 The craft supplies side of my business is still very new so items are being added as they can. That includes all the items in the kit being sold individually. It's all a work in progress.

The ETA to ship next Tuesday is fine. Also just to clarify the price is for the case of rhinestones and the filler tray correct?

      I get my stones from Aliexpress. I have loose stones for sale (added today), just as a supplement to the kit for people doing dome tumblers, but I haven't quite decided if I want to become a full on supplier yet. I used to get my stones from FabCabCases if you're looking for a US supplier.
      But I just find buying stones stateside is expensive, I have patience enough to wait for China. Although, I typically buy enough where it's sent quickly by air anyways.

    are u trini? the bg music....im trini..anyway i am trying my very 1st tumbler and its tapered and its got alot of gaps. Im trying to fill with "filler" stones but there are so many gaps, im wondering if i did something wrong..i have been doing line by line but as the cup gets larger closer to the top ( i started from the bottom), the gaps become apparent

    • @DesignsByAngee
      @DesignsByAngee  Před 3 lety +1

      I am not. But I love everything Trini (food, music, ppl, country, etc) ☺☺
      I work from top to bottom and always have to use fillers, but I never have gaps, as I lay the stones how I did in the video. I started following someone on IG and she does tapered cups and I don't see a lot of fillers on hers, I asked and she uses ss20/5mm stones. My next project is to do a tapered cup in 5mm stones. Bit it likely won't happen until after October. As I am currently incredibly busy with prep for Miami Carnival.
      If you want you can send me a pic of the gaps you're referencing on IG @designsbyangee to see if we can figure out what's going on
