    This was helpful AF because I didn’t realize I had to sand the decal too!! Smaller stones look so much easier than using the 20 mm and the filling the little missing pieces with the smaller fillers stones, they don’t always fit. So thank you! Keep them tutorials coming girl!!

    Ive been wanting to try this. How well do the stones hold on the vinyl? Your tumbler came out great!

      The stones hold great. I have quite a few personal tumblers that I've made in the same way and they've all held up over the years.

      I don't remember the size but that's always going to be subjective to the cup, the name, and the font I'm using.
      I go in depth here (czcams.com/video/OZRqG-45CDM/video.html) on my process of sizing name decals.

    Can you please please tell me where to order your vox for the stones and a small bottle

      Hi 😊 I'm guessing at what your referring to, so tell me if I'm wrong.
      The box of stones I'm using is equivalent to something I sell called a Stacker. You can purchase it here: www.designsbyangee.com/tumblerkits
      The small bottle just holds the glue. It, and the glue, can be purchased here: www.designsbyangee.com/tools

      That answer would be subjective, based on your preferences. If you're doing a honeycomb pattern I wouldn't go any smaller than ss16. Scatter method uses all sizes from ss20 - ss3. I have a video here (czcams.com/video/mgA4mnv_iRA/video.html) of me doing the body of the tumbler in ss16

    If this was a picture decal with a photo of a person would you sand it too?

    • @DesignsByAngee
      @DesignsByAngee  Před 2 lety +1

      I typically don't sand my decals at all. I clean them with alcohol and wear gloves as I'm handling the cup. Although, in hindsight, sanding would help increase the bond of the glue (per usual).
      But as far as pictures, I would be wary of sanding it. If you feel you must, then I'd say use a really high grit. Naturally the color will dull a bit but since you're covering in rhinestones it shouldn't matter. Just try no to sand too hard.

      Hi. Name decals normally take me up to an hour depending on the length of the name and the font chosen. Thinner fonts would take a shorter time.
