  • Hey house lover's and explorers! Today's explore I take a look through 2 nice old 1920s bungalows very typical of the inter-war homes being built at that time. Cheers to both Helen and Ian who gave me heads up reminder to get to these homes before they are knocked down. The first one is in mostly original state with nice old features and she'd with garden patch. The second is more in the arts n crafts Californian bungalow style although more modern touches have been added along with the original floor plan being different from most. Toys and things left behind along with rumpus room tell of a family last living here. Aqua Man also a keen onlooker 😁👍 hope you all enjoy the explore. Cheers for watching 👍

I love the 2 bungalows. I especially liked the door bell 🔔 and the old wardrobe. It's a shame that they will tear them down. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 ❤

Nice old places here. Would have been nice if they weren't trashed. It's such a shame. That fence mural isn't that Aeriel from The Little Mermaid and her father, King Neptune?.... thanks for sharing. Cheers, MM :)

First house bathroom would have had a SAGASCO vertical burner tank, over head shower in a claw tub.

They are a couple of more abandoned houses about to be torn down
but as always I'm glad that you get to explore both of them before they
are demolished while they aren't in magnificent shape on the inside they
are still nice looking houses. another great video of empty abandoned
houses and buildings Thanks again and until next time take care.🇦🇺🤠🇦🇺

That wardrobe was nothing to leave behind IMO. I liked the first bungalow. The second was a little weird, odd floor plan. Thank you my friend for the explore. Cheers 💜☮️

@@urbexindigo5164 we moved out in December so just a couple of months ago. All the things left over were ours. We never got a chance to finish clearing it out because people kept breaking in and I ended up being too scared to go back there and finish in case someone was there. My husband did the artwork on the back wall and the studio out the back was his art hub, although our daughter also helped drawing on some of the walls! We also did all of the renovations throughout the house as we thought it was going to be our forever home. But DIT had other plans!! I’m so pleased you filmed this. It was surreal watching it!
The house was initially built as a display home in 1921. Our neighbour from the first house had lived there for nearly 40 years

The gold coloured heater in the first house was definitely a gas heater, we had one exactly the same at home when I was a child. Brings back memories of cold winter nights.

When I was a child, we lived in a house with a shower room like that. There was just the shower, and a functional window in the same place. So I would say the shower is in its original place and there would have also been a window too.

The first house is out of the question because I like to sneak around at night.
The second one had some nice knotty pine floors, I do belive there was a fireplace in the corner of the livingroom, entirely removed along with the chimney.
If it were mine the "rumpus room" would soon be the mancave.
I've a good feelin the concrete pad in the backyard may have held a large jacuzzi, I do see a power point on the wall in the corner with conduit running along the ground at the wall all the way from the rumpus room shed. Could be the reason for a child's life preserver lying on the patio at the rear of the house. 28:30
    Thanks for the tour Paul!
    👍🤠 🇺🇸
    Note:
30:14 Was beloved Fido reinterred at the new place they moved to? Just a thought.

Hey Paul, I'm addicted to your videos! Have you ever been tempted to ask a rhetorical question, while filming in one of those creepy old buildings, along the lines of: "HEY GUYS, DID YOU SEE/HEAR THAT?" Nothing there, of course, but exploring old ruins out in the bush, with the wind banging doors & rattling windows etc. certainly gives my goose bumps a workout. Some vids on the "paranormal" channel: "Slapped Ham" could be fake, and some of yours are WAY more creepy as well. Some strange things allegedly happen in our Outback🤔...Well done mate! Love your work!!!👍👍👍

5:37. I thought someone was walking on the roof with all that noise you were making walking on the floor. 13:32. This is a good example to the gardeners in the area of what plants grow well just by looking in this garden which probably hasn’t seen any attention for heaven knows how long. 22:58 Maybe the wood flooring cut diagonally was where a combustion firebox was standing with a tiled or brick platform.

    Bonjour d'Occitanie (France)

Some great original features there - especially in that first one! Though the floorboards on the second were lovely, the renos kind of robbed it of any sense on uniqueness.
