  • The Celtic Cross Tarot Spread is not good for beginners! It's too hard! There are too many cards! The positions are too vague! Blah, blah, blah! Don't believe a word of it. The Celtic Cross Tarot spread has been around for decades because of the immense amount of clarity it can provide...if you just follow 3 simple rules! In this video, I have explained how it works for me for quick festival readings. This is the first of 3 videos. Subscribe to catch Video #2 - Analyzing the Celtic Cross Spread.

    Thank you, that was really helpful 😊 I hope one day I can be as fluent in the tarot cards as you are Lynn

      I'm so glad you found this helpful! Fluency comes from practice, practice, practice! Personalize each card in the deck. Give each one a story about something that made it a 7 of Swords moment, or a 3 of cups moment, or a run in you had with a female boss that made it a Queen of Swords moment. These will stick in your brain. And when you need to craft a story out of the cards, being able to share examples will give you that fluency. Good luck to you. Lynn XXOO

    Thank you so much for that example. Would you please make a suggestion for 10 of swards in the 9th position.

      Thank you very much! I use position #9 as advice from spirit. I consulted my journal for some good tidbits to provide to you as "advice", but I love everything I've written or collected, so here it is! Take what works; leave the rest! Lynn 💖💖
      Ten of Swords:
      This is a forced ending; something we can't salvage. The good news: It’s over!
      Remember, this card represents the element of air - it’s more mental than anything. So when this card comes up, it represents analyzing everything to death; obsessing over things out of our control; being melodramatic; fatalistic. It’s more of a reaction to the problem than the problem itself.
      You my be feeling like the world is coming to an end...but it’s not. You are just emotionally, physically and spiritually exhausted. Sometimes it's simply a sign of burn out. This too shall pass.
      Sometimes, it can mean being stabbed in the back, sabotaged or betrayed. But if you think about it, how many swords does it take to be killed? 10 is overkill. It’s melodrama.
      It can be the results or consequences of our past actions. Remember, the universe keeps perfect score. This could very well be our comeuppance. With any luck, an extreme turn of events might act as a pressure relief valve. It’s best to lay low until the drama or trauma plays out.
      Accept defeat. You've lost. Wave the white flag. At this point, you are no longer obligated to stay and fight. This scene represents the necessary hitting rock bottom before we can face our problems and turn our life around.

      It can mean the end of a relationship; the loss of power; the collapse of a business; the loss of your independence. You may be overly attached to the outcome. It’s a do or die situation.
      If this is about a relationship: Run! There is nothing redeemable here! A traumatic divorce or negative experience of the past is pinning you down in the present.
      Something about the love situation you are in is not quite right. Start asking questions, accept reality, don‘t close your eyes to the truth. You cannot force someone to love you or to behave respectfully. If you have recently met someone new (and are looking for love,) keep looking. The contenders you‘ve met so far are not who they seem to be.

      The appearance of this card may signal that your work situation is about to come to an end. Your best bet is to get your ducks in a row and think through what you will do if you do indeed lose your job, for any reason. You may have been treated badly by someone. Don‘t waste your time and precious energy plotting revenge. Just get on with the next phase of your life. If you‘re looking for work, a potential position that you‘d pinned your hopes on may not come through. Above all, don‘t give up. Bottom of the food chain at work? Do you lack personal satisfaction as you are fulfilling someone else’s purpose?
      If money has taken a downturn for you, or someone you trusted has not come through, be careful not to beat yourself up. This is not the end of the world. Try to think logically and rationally. What now?
      And my favorite piece of advice...Choose NOT to be a martyr! .

    Thank you for this! I've found the Celtic Cross cumbersome to say the least. I have developed my own seven card spread that I love and so enjoy doing. What you have helped me realize is that it is the "making the spread your own" that is the secret.

      @@QueenCathleen I'm so glad to hear! I used to binge watch CZcams videos, oftentimes about the same subject. To be honest, the first spread I ever learned was the Celtic.. and it wasn't hard at all. I was 16 and bought a beginner deck from a very popular bookstore.

      Hello Amanda! Your comment kinda makes me wonder if all the hubbub over the Celtic Cross is coming from people who are starting later in life. At 16, we were fearless! 😛

    • @MetaphysicalMandy
      @MetaphysicalMandy Před 2 měsíci +1

      @askdevinecentral I think people put too much fear in trying things they are not used to, or believe to be difficult. Take sewin for instance, Not a lot of people like to do curves because it seems complicated. However, in reality it is just a straight line, but you just have to turn the fabric. It's all about perception.

    • @askdevinecentral
      @askdevinecentral  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@MetaphysicalMandy I absolutely agree! It's perception. Thanks for your comments. Please stop by again. Lynn XXOO
