Two things the DOJ/FTC needs to force/mandate for mobile phones to be anti-competitive:
1. RCS (Rich Communications Services) for large media sharing/transferring as a standard.
2. Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) to allow mobile apps to run across all mobile web browsers. Thus allowing alternative mobile OSs to run all apps.

The net effect is that the developers need to charge more and more for their products, which in turn benefits Apple even more because 23% of $10 is less than 23% of $15. So in a nutshell; Apple win-win, developers = win, customer = lose-lose.
