Diane, there are a handful of art channels that have literally changed my life and yours is one of them. I have endlessly watched and re-watched so many of your beautiful videos. Your teaching style is so inspirational. I love your no nonsense approach to finding the joy in your creative style. I have spent the last 4 1/2 years of my life pretty much cooped up in the house due to medical issues, only venturing out, especially during Covid, for medical care. I’ve always been a creative and mixed media or watercolors were always my go to. I’ve begun my new journey by re-investing in myself due to forced medical early retirement. I almost made it 30 years in my career, but I had to step away to get the care I needed. Enter CZcams. Something I had never really watched before, until some fluid art videos and then some watercolor videos… and then gouache…and then mixed media and collage videos filled my feed. I’ve never been more hungry to create in my life. Not for anybody except myself. I will never sell my art, though, I often do give my art away. But you kept my head and my heart in the game called life. I’ve now built myself an art room in my sons old bedroom, I have filled it with things that I love to experiment with and I am so thankful that I came across beautiful humans like yourself. Thank you, and thank you to Tamsin. ❤ Because just the sound of your voice starting a video makes my day….and then you begin! ❤❤❤
I’d also like to tell you I greatly appreciate your website, I am working hard on my drawing skills and hope to reclaim them. But your templates and links back to the specific videos are literally priceless. I do hope people pay you for those even though I know you make them free. I always try to contribute Because I get such value out of what you are doing. All I want for Christmas is Kuretake watercolors and some ceramic Meeden mixing trays!!! ❤❤😂😂
Hi Jan and thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I have visited your own channel and see that you aren‘t posting videos on there any more, but I‘ve read your thoughts and agree so much with the sentiment about putting some beauty back into the universe - it‘s what we are here for and so important that we do it in our own individual way. I‘m sorry to hear about your health problems and so glad that you found us and are benefitting from what we do - we do it for you! Thanks also for mentioning the website and the sketch offerings. The idea of giving them away for free was Tamsin‘s brainchild (she has so many good ideas!) and it has been a blessing, because people are so generous when you offer them something for free! But even if they can‘t pay, it doesn‘t matter. I‘m glad they are being used to create beauty somewhere on this planet! Thanks again for your kind loving words and sending you prayers and very best wishes for improved health and strength xxxxx Diane xxxxx
@@DianeAntoneStudio what a lovely note, thank you so much for responding. I can’t tell you what that means to me. Yes, I have not been able to be active on my CZcams channel, just about the time I started getting it up and running and was doing better. I had a relapse of my cancer. I had to go back through another complete round of treatment, and that ended up leading to another surgery. To make a very, very, very long story short, I am on my way to remission and I am trying to create small, so I feel like I can handle that for now. I’m journaling, I’m making my own gel print paper, I’m collaging, I’m working on watercolors, and I’m just basically trying to enjoy what time that I can get in my art room as I can! I’ve had a setback and was diagnosed with Covid this past month, and I am now being treated for Covid pneumonia. I would love to be able to start filming in recording my art journey again. I probably would pull more away from acrylic pouring and go back to collage, mixed media, and watercolor. That’s really where my heart always has been. And I think that’s another reason why I enjoy your channel so much. I do post some of my art pieces on my Instagram and Facebook art page, they have the same name as my CZcams channel. They are certainly not fine art, but they are fine for my heart. I believe creativity is a part of all of our souls, and I love being able to express myself and my emotions through art and share it with others. Your teaching style is just beautiful, and I very much appreciate all of the hard work that you and Tamsin put into your presence in the art world. It is truly a blessing. Fun fact, I heard you mentioned your husband had returned from Egypt a while back. I spent several years there in my youth, my dad worked for the US Department of defense and was stationed at the US Embassy there and I went to high school at an American and international school called Cairo American College. It was located in Ma’adi Egypt, just off the corniche, about 5 miles from Cairo. I’ve been blessed to live all over the world, and have had many cultural, and art experiences that so many would never have. Therefore, I will just continue to remain thankful, grateful, and blessed for all of the life experiences that have influenced my own heart and art journies. Have a very beautiful day to you and Tamsin both ❤️❤️ xx Jan
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Prayers for her infusions to work and to be healed 🙏🏼
Love this tutorial Diane 🧡
Watercolor Yoga! I love it, I wonder if my doctor will accept this as adding exercise into my routine. 🤔
Beautiful and fun! Love the colors 😊. Thank you Diane! Praying for the lady getting her infusion, for you and your family, and anyone in need! Blessings…..Xx
Thank you Diane. I loved that! It is beautiful. The colours so rich and warm....almost spicy....cinnamon and cloves! I feel so relaxed after watching you paint that 😊
This looks like a surreal impression of out inner solar system! So cool!
Amazon in the US is running the 48 color set on sale right now, so I just ordered a set last night! So excited to try them out!!
So glad to hear about using watercolor brushes. Mine have set around since I bought them. This is so lovely. Thanks, Diane.
Really enjoy these intuitive compositions
I love the title!! A great attention grabber! 😍
Thank you! 😊
Very nicely done ❤
You’ve created such a rich embellished brocade here, Diane - reminds me of the detailed embroideries my mum used to make. Makes me realize she too sought and found ways to sooth her frazzled nerve at times, although as a kid all I saw was the calm self that resulted from her creative escapes.
Greetings Diane , I enjoyed this one very much ! 😀 🧡🍂🍁🍃🍂
Thank you. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love this! It reminds me of when I used to do Zen doodles.
Love it!!!🎉🎉🎉
So beautiful
Absolutely Gorgeous, thank you for all you do to make water coloring seem doable. I love watching your videos, you’ve helped me so much.
It's always fascinating to see how your paintings develop!
Very pretty! 👏👏👏
Hi! I lost the long comment I was writing by hitting the wrong. tab so I going to try to say what I wanted to say in less words. First, Thank YOU! I learned so much when you said to paint a chicken start with a smile. That was a breakthrough for me. Now, I’m making roosters, hens, and chicks! I mean pages and pages of them. I gleaned from you how to draw them, side view left and right, from behind (I learned that stance from doing your tutorial on the Christmas card with sheep. What I would love is a tutorial showing us how to draw and paint chickens in all kinds of poses. I have so much fun painting with you. I’m working on a book filled with your sheep that my little grandniece love for her Christmas present. She will love it. THANK YOU!🐥🐔
Reminds me of beautiful Mexican painted plates
Mesmerizing! Building the mandalas seems so much fun. Love that the rule is no rules. Great color palette. I love the Kuretake paints, affordable and fun to use. They really go a long way. Leaves everywhere, autumn has arrived. Thank you.
Beautiful color combination. Love browns with pinks 😊
I received my HOT press paper today. Just finished my painting. It was fun and relaxing. I enjoy listening to your video and painting along. Thank you, Diane
Wonderful! So glad you are going to explore that new texture!
Very nice!
I’m definitely going to try this one. It’s beautiful. Thank you again , Diane ❤
Dine, about your injured chicken. Do you think she could be pulling out her feathers because she's stressed? Birds do that. This was a fun painting! Oh, and I got the rest of my Meeden watercolor paper today. I had ordered the 10x7 one of each. I got the cold pressed last week, and the rough and hot press came today ... by Amazon? I ordered on Meeden's website! Anyway, now I'm trying to decide what to paint to try each of them out.
Love it!
Watching your videos lately has saved me as I currently have Shingles, takes my mind off the pain. Also have been doing a little painting. Love you and thank you. Wish I could figure out a way to send you a few pics of my paintings. Thanks again.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear about the shingles, I heard that a few years ago and it was horrible. Glad the painting is helping a bit!
Love this ❤ It really does look like Fabric or rug designs, very lovely 😊
This was lovely to watch !! I know it’s a bit early but some Christmas abstract paintings would be lovely !! ❤️
This turned out so beautifully and the paints were on sale today on Amazon. The big set.
That‘s great to know!
The designs you add with pen are so spectacular 🤩
Thank you so much Liz! 😀
It really is turning out quite lovely, very inspiring.
Thanks so much 😊
I’ve been practicing leaves for a few days now. Getting better, I must say. I agree, I’m finding oak leaves a bit tricky, but also getting better. I have to keep telling myself, surely there is a leaf that looks like that somewhere. 😂 Brilliant idea to combine leaves and mandalas, on my list of things to do after a few more oak leaves. ❤
Patiently waiting for your paintbrushes. 😊
I like that, watercolor yoga is a good description. Just following your inspiration moment by moment. Not striving to paint anything particular.
Very nice ❤
Thanks!
Thanks so much for your generous gift xxx happy holidays xxx
as usual just lovely
Thank you so much 😀
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
It's beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Your painting is beautiful! I definitely need to do this one! I may need to get the Kuretaki sets for my next art purchase, plus hot press paper. Prayers to the lady doing infusion. Have a blessed day!
Thanks so much Cindy, and you won’t regret it. If you do get those paints - I found them very liberating!
I love this and no doubt I will do it first thing in the morning as I take my morning pills and a nice strong cup of coffee...lol Thank you for your beautiful art and your wonderful time you give to us ALL!!!! Sandy Stokes
Really liked that! So cool!

@@DianeAntoneStudio XXXX❤️❤️❤️
I love this. Looks relaxing and fun to do. I’m inspired to try it.
Have fun! I’m sure you’ll love it ❤️
Very pretty, thank you for sharing Diane
Thank you for all the Autumn paintings! This is particularly a fun one!
My thought about the white pens is this: I think it takes more pigment to make white so it’s probably a bit thicker than the gold or other metal colors…just my unscientific thought…
You’re probably right Patricia! So glad you’re enjoying the autumn paintings!
This is one of my favorite videos of all! I was about to hang up my watercolor brush for a while, but this inspired me to continue to paint. Very relaxing and SO many cool ideas!!!
What a lovely way to spend an hour. Thank you Diane.
Love this one! 🤩 abstracts are my favourites 🥰
Wonderful color choices, always relaxing watching you create. Thank you.
I love this!! Very lovely!😍
Enjoyed this and going to give it a try! Thank you for sharing!
You are giving me permission to just be spontaneous with painting and it is so enjoyable. I am amazed that my things actually turn out so well. I have been stuck in realism and structure for too long. I am hoping to relax and paint more loosely. Thank you for your inspiration. Sometimes I binge watch from the archives. I think I have some paint pens somewhere, I think I will seek them out and finally use them…. If they have not dried out.
Go for it Linda! So glad you are breaking loose!!!!!
Looks like fun to try. 😊
It was!
I love this. Definitely going to try it! Always enjoy watching you.
Thanks Sue!❤️
Lovely video❤ Your dog made my dog bark lol 😂
Oh crap, I'm a pet sitter. I have 10 dogs in my house right now.
🐨👍
I was thinking they look like aboriginal paintings especially the big one in the bottom right corner
A bientot bises
Maybe your moulting chicken will need a little coat.🐔💗🧥🤗
Thanks!
