- I knew from the moment my roof was wrapped that I would eventually have to either get my antenna re-wrapped by someone who could HANDLE doing a one piece on it or I would need to swap it out for a brand new factory painted option (which is the way I went) .. now I'm SURE there is an easy or "correct" way to do this but this is all I could come up with since I was doing everything mostly without reference lol this mod is TOTALLY worth it to me because now I don't have to have a panic attack seeing vinyl lift off of my damn antenna :O if you're getting your roof wrapped, you may even want to have this part ordered in advance but either way I hope this helps even a little !!

Just replace my antenna cover from red to black because I had the same issue. Took me about 90 minutes using your video as a guide. The only thing I did different was remove the light for more room. Only had to take down the rear headliner to get to the antenna. Thanks for your videos very informative and I always get a laugh...

Allblk_SRT with filming things take longer but that's a 15-30 minute job once you figure out what you need to remove
It shouldn't be lifting unless it wasn't prepped properly or over stretched. But yes a replacement antenna painted would be a better solution. I've wrapped 30 of those antennas as far as 2010 and all lived the life of the wrap.

If y’all ever do this please unscrew the two 10mm bolts that hold the high mount brake light and remove the light. Then you have plenty of room to get to the antenna bolt.

The reason he did it in two pieces was to relieve stress on the vinyl
One piece wrap doesn't mean better. and two piece doesn't normally fail. you should have taken this back to the guy that wrapped your roof and talked to him

Did you use a 3M tape for it? Or it's not necessary? My garage door touched my Durango roof antenna and it is pop up a little bit, but it is tight. Just wanna be sure. Thank you for responding.

Pete Rassias paint is coated with Cquartz Pro but th or engine bay parts have Wolfgang
