I have a 2020 honda super cub and the oil drain plug is 17mm not 18mm. Kind of strange they would design these with 2 sizes.
I just bought a 2020 Honda Super Cub. when I got it home I noticed that the fuel gauge display is erratic. The little level indicators sweep back-and-forth without stopping to indicate level of fuel but I know I have a full tank. Do you know what this problem is and how I can, resolve it? Sure would appreciate any help. Thank you.
I'd recommend pouring the oil into a graduated jug first to get the measure right, then pour the contents of the jug into the engine. That removes the risk of overfilling.
BTW would you recommend getting all service interval services stamped at the dealer?
Good suggestion (I am a old hat so oil pours are second nature). As far as the stamps that is never a bad idea.
My new super cub has no sight glad on side?
I noticed the 2023 does not appear to have one.
Dont these have some type of filter/strainer?
They do have a strainer located in the spinner case. This was just a basic oil change. The spinner case doesn't have to be removed each time.

You know honestly I am going to have to think about this one @@curtgottler9961 . I sold the bike a while back before I moved and don't have it for reference but going to look this up.
It's the cam chain tensioner.
