I love how grounded she is. Her comments on Bailey just reinforce just how heartfelt we all feel she truly is. Her heart as well as ability makes us love who she is as an individual.
I admire her groundedness + caring for others.
She's good people

Speaking as someone who also suffers from migraines on a daily basis, it's simply amazing what CC does. People who don't have migraines don't understand how much they affect your life, it's way more than "just a headache." The fact that she can play at the level she does and continues through the migraines is incredible. I only have more respect for her.
I'm Sorry for ALL who have to deal with migraines.
Listen. I HATE WHEN people throw around the term migraines. As a sufferer since a child, there is absolutely no way she plays with migraines. A true migraine, you canât run! Canât drive, walk, and barely open your eyes. You stay in bed with no lights and an ice pack praying youâll be able to fall asleep for relief. Let alone the other things that come with a migraine. She gets headaches, NOT migraines. You can not play basketball with a migrain!!
â@@brandonjoseph1489 I feel your frustration about the term, cuz I've had brain surgeries and suffer from chronic migraines, now. And for whatever reason, I didn't qualify for disability so I had no choice but to go out and make a living, and I don't expect others/strangers/coworkers to understand my "headaches". I have to (really, force to) push forward and pretend like nothing is wrong when, in actuality, it pains me just to keep my eyes open. . . Among other things. So, yeah, people find away around their ailments.
@@brandonjoseph1489 I understand, believe me, Iâve had them my whole life also and Iâve had both extreme migraines as you described and much milder migraines where I just have sensitivity to stimuli and vertigo without the headache. My migraines became chronic about 8 years ago. If I had to guess, CC is probably on some sort of medication to lessen the severity of her migraines, but if she has them chronically, they donât totally go away, they just get lessened enough to be functional. At least thatâs been my experience.
@@Sure_Sir I guess all are different. I can not drive with migraines. I have a few times and almost crashed each time, let alone run around and play basketball
Caitlin shows poise and dignity.
Let's not forget things that trigger migraines. One for me is stress dealing with idiots and incompetent people. That has to be huge for her.
Facts
Well, if that's what also triggers CC's migraines - she is gonna be getting one every day. Sides needs to go.
I think CC needs a rest. The break for the Olympics will be welcome for her. She looks tired. She is not hitting her shots. She passes off and then moves out of the way, not moving much without the ball. She needs some rest. There's a lot of pressure on this gal right now and it has been non stop. 3 weeks off will do her a world of good.
Her passing and moving out of the way are part of the plays. She takes defenders away from the ball so other players have open areas to work. The other guards run a few plays too to keep all the focus off of her. People think why is she standing, but it's part of the play, she stands then moves to shake her defender, it's not like soccer where she is constantly running.
Listen to you like no one else in the league needs rest.
@@kwjohnson7195 Give me a break. No one has been under more stress that CC. No one. No comparison. Reality check for you.
@@artistamisto It is part of the play to step out of the way, but not keep standing there. You have to keep moving and get open for shots.
Needs a rest???? They only played 20 gamesđđđ
look at her, she's so grounded and humble and ozzing with class, and she's still able to carry a smile with the team and coach she's playing for and the rest of the wnba hating her; she's a good role model for kids, specially young girls. Unlike the Hood and Catty wnba players when compared to Clark.
I am 52, and she inspires me!!
Yes a much needed role model for boys and girls....CC is the REAL DEAL!!!

Clark did great
Best wishes for Caitlin, she is a remarkable person.
Yes, I admire her. She stayed at U of Iowa; she could have run to a championship team.
@@user-ey7jo8cz1o I have come to admire her deeply. She walks her talk!
This young woman is so amazing, so humble, see how she talks she never talking about herself, always talking about others helping others, she is definitely one of a kind, way better and more mature than the other players, majority of the other players always talking about they self and what they achieve, God bless her parents, this is the product of two great parents raising incredible woman, it's like the the energy of Larry Bird and Michael Jordan is fused into her all I can say is incredible, if she was my daughter I would be the most proud happiest parent on the face of the Earthđ
Beautifully kind words, I see God in them. See, there is good in this world.

The Fever have a pretty good team, they are coming together and of course Caitlins ability to run the court and manage assists is a critical part of it. They can beat anyone on a good day. As always teams will have weak games too. I have seen majopr improvement.
It's really unfortunate under this coach, to see her becoming the best facilitator in the WNBA, and an average three-point shooter. I love the girl and I want better for her.
My wife got a migraine bout 7 years ago out of no where and kept them really bad...we went to all the Dr's tried all the crap that didn't work like the antidepressants and what not and then like 6 yrs later she finally got amovig and it has saved her everyday life so much it's insane....so if she is out there playing and running with a migraine then her toughness level just went threw the roof. I've seen my wife go to work for them 5 pluse years with it calling me in tears cause it was so bad so I fill for catlin playing out there with that type of pain
I have migrainesâŠthey are not fun.
Taking a triptan (Maxalt, Immitrex, etc) the minute you start experiencing prodromal symptoms can definitely stop a migraine in its tract, the problem is, even though you may avoid the full blown migraine, theres a high likelihood that you will feel utterly drained, which is definitely not good if you have to run up and down a basketball court for 40 minutes!
And you honestly think she can play games with a migraine? Itâs not possible !
@@brandonjoseph1489 I played a football game w one. Everybody has a different pain tolerance.
@@Biggdoom344 not about pain tolerance. You have no coordination, you ar Nauseous, itâs not even safe to drive with a migraine. Canât explain it unless youâve had one. Youâd be admitting help to your teammates. Iâm covered in tattoos with multiple 10 hour sessions. I have laser removed and entire tattoo sleeve, I have a high pain tolerance
@@brandonjoseph1489 you do realize there are different types of migraines. The ones you are describing are the most severe. Yeah in those cases you are debilitated. Iâve never had a migraine where I was nauseous, could not drive, basically barely move. Mild migraines are sometimes called cluster headaches. It has gotten to the point my vision was a little blurry but I had goggles if that happened. I played with a migraine once. I think sides needsto stfu about Clark and what she says to her in private.
Is that how the story started? Sides revealed it? Unless CC said it was fine to do in advance - Side should be fired for this.
Yes, Sides shows poor management: Don't criticize your team or players publicly. Praise in public; discuss problems privately. Please, fire Sides.
Totally agree. Sides sucks as a coach, has no morals or guts to be her own person and protect her team so she wants a scapegoat.
And put Cc as a SG, not a PG
I saw sides bring it up AMD use it as an excuse to bench Clark and only after was Clark forced to address it. Sides made reference to her feeling unwell but only to make an excuse when asked about pulling Clark from the game
Some of the WNBA should pay attention to how CC her media interviews and take a lesson.

Nice interview â€
GREAT NEWS Caitlin made the ALL-STAR TEAM..
But UNFORTUNATELY so did Angel Reese
Caitlin looks exhausted. She needs a rest. The migraines are serious.
Some People with MIGRAINE HEADACHES, such as CAITLIN, itâs caused by imbalance or out of balance blood sugar levels, which are at times like Low Blood Sugar or a Low Blood Sugar Crash. Such drinks as Gatorade or other Sports sugar drinks contribute to this problem.
Pedialyte would be the best drink if not water?
@@geraldgarrett5088 Pedialyte may help with the Electrolytes in it, which CAITLIN âNEEDSâ to be constantly replenishing Her body with, but at the same time She needs a Pedialyte that has a possible low sugar level, so She doesnât have a blood sugar crash later on and possibly Headaches.
@@gualbertogarcia305 Aha just looked at bottle of Top Cares Electrolte solution and states 32% total sugars jeez thats a bunch thanks for the reply the hunt continues. Diluting with 50% or more water will cut sugars on down making healthier?
If you suffer from migraines, you are: 1. Very Dehydrated 2. Lacking Trace Minerals and 3. Lacking Good Sodium. Take care of those three areas and you will not suffer from migraines. A dead giveaway that Caitlin Clark is extremely dehydrated is she is playing her ass off but never has sweat dripping down her brow. If you don't noticeably sweat when you should be then you're dehydrated. Caitlin Clark would do well to go to a restorative wellness center and get an IV loaded with trace minerals and good sodium, then make sure she is drinking whole water like spring water adding trace minerals to it, and make certain she is eating enough Himalayan or Celtic salt.
I suffered from migraines as a young person. As I got older the pain subsided as a migraine came on. Today I get the âwaterfallsâ in front of the eyes as it begins and feel yucky. But no headache. Hope how they go for CC as she gets older.
What a wonderful role model. Love, love this girl!
Sides should listen to Caitlin handle the press so graceful & poise
the make a wish foundation kid clearly came to see Clark ... and we see clark make it about the Fever, the Aces, and the Wnba and not about her ... Now that is Class and Sportsmanship ... She should be ROY and even MVP on not only how she plays on court, but how she represents the WNBA and growing this $sport's League off the court.
CC is classy
It almost made me cry knowing how special it had to be to that girl and her family. Clark not only elevates her teammates to another level, but the entire WNBA.
Her grace and poise under all of the pressure and scrutiny is really impressive. The criticism she receives is really unfair and unfortunate. Iâm also stunned to hear she suffers so much from migraines. She downplays it, but they are really rough.
Sides must go now not tomorrow to late she is running our great team we could do so good if we had a coach
Wow never knew this. She has never even mentioned this at all. Kudos to CC!

keep. On.
Kind of interesting to hear this. For some people pain can bring a bit more focus and clarity. Maybe this is the case of CC? Who knows, silly speculation but interesting to me.
This is the worst shooting game the Fever has ever had. For a pro to miss every FT is unforgivable! Smith is the worst shooter on the team and the rest of them wern't much better tonight. A basic rule in BB defense is "Hands up"! Watch the replays and it is obvious the Fever has never heard of this rule.
There are definite coaching issues. But CC needs a break from the action. She is tired. Lot of pressure on her.
I agree with your free throw assessment. A professional player should be at least 80% from the line...no excuse to miss every FT attempt. That will cost them games for sure.
Smith sure did shoot bricks in that game against the Aces last night. Free throws...hello...you've got to make those!
Wish CC had a better team around her and better coaching.
Caitlyn's 3 pointers seem to be flattening out. I think she may need to put more arc on the ball. It seems to me its either in completely clean or it bounces out. She has almost zero shooters roll. Part of it might be exhaustion and her legs are tired but recently, her shots seems a lot lower than other shooters. A higher arc might also help her shoot over the bigger players, which there are more of in the WNBA. I'm no longer expert but the ball seems like it bounces off the rim really hard when she misses even by a little.
She's a off dribble shooter not stand still shooter, she's a rookie she work on floater
After watching literally hundreds of her three-point attempts, I would say Clarkâs shot is naturally a little flatter than some other long range shooters (Curry, for example). I think that is true even of her free throws.
CC looks really tired out there. Not moving well off the ball, can't seem to create a shot for herself. She needs the Olympic break to rest up and get her shot back.
I think everyone needs to realize that she has already played the equivalent of an NBA season - on top of ALWAYS being asked to be available for media whereas 95% of players get to go immediately to rest and decompress. As a person with Trigeminal Neuralgia - I basically have a hyped up migraine all the time and it stinks - so I feel for those who are burdened with migraines.
She is bringing A. Boston, k.Mitchell down.. they should demand a trade asap!!
Make sure she gets checked her heart checked for a benign v-fib. I had migraines starting at 12 yo. Doctors had always mentioned my heartbeat was odd, but never did an EKG until I started passing out in my 40s. Then I was diagnosed with benign svt. In addition to helping that condition, Metatoprol completely stopped my migraines.
Yes Caitlin you can definitely add to her repertoire of shooting a 30 footer and a driving layup. Like a pull up 12 footer and and a 4-5 foot floater. And a good cross over to drive to the basket left or right.
Preach. She forces layups. She desperately needs a floater and pull-up.
đŻ agree.
A. Boston, k.Mitchell gotta get out of Indiana asap. She is bringing them down, especially with all of those turnovers.
CC awesome n classy player
I admire her. Even though I don't practice in a Christian faith, I can see she is living her faith. Like in yoga: We try to take our yoga off the mat + live its principles in the world that is often unkind.
if somebody who knows Caitlin is reading this, tell her to look into a low carb (sugar free) eating plan or better yet a carnivore diet - carbohydrates are highly inflammatory and reducing the intake of sugar can be highly beneficial. Lots of health benefits come along with giving up the standard American diet.
Can she last the season.at 1st she was sharpe shooter gungho..coach said hold up.

Her Olympic break plans vs kate Martin's đ
Kate Martin Disneyland, CC get some needed rest, sleep until way past noon for about a week. No one is under more pressure and stress than CC right now.
She mentioned the lights and loud music. I wonder if teams will use that against her.
Why are we pretending that a double double for points and rebounds is the same as a double double for points and assists? Like Angel Reese is a truly great player but rebounds and assists are different, assists are actual points on the board and rebounds are just a chance for points.. a great chance for points obviously but itâs different. People using Angelâs double doubles to try and diss Caitlin is crazy. Honestly those two on the same team would be deadly so Iâm so excited for the all star game!!!
But you just used the comparison to downplay and diss Angel Reese's success! And for your information, an offensive rebound gives a team second and third chances to reset and score the ball!!! You don't have to uplift Caitlin Clark by trying to somewhat discredit what Angel Reese has done! It just shows your ignorance of the game as a whole. The two things can be correct at the same time. Assists are points, and rebounds can be converted to points!
Lmao, you sound ignorant just like a new fan.. Sympathy Clark also leads the league in turnovers by miles!
@@twilarussell183 Good points. I am a CC fan, but it is frustrating to see how much negativity some fans on both sides have.
@sarademoret425 I agree that the negativity is on both sides, and what ai have noticed is that there are way more CC stans that are just down right nasty, racist, hateful, toxic, then there are Angel Reese fans. We don't typically go on post about CC and talk nasty about her. Ultimate classy Caitlin Clark!
â€she is a beautiful and talented woman. The WNBA should be proud of her and her accomplishments.
She needs a off season Iâm glad she not playing in the Olympic
Migraine is awful. My grandma and sis had it their whole life. Caitlin, spend some of that $$ on figuring this out as you still have a long life to live.
I get the deep âlogo 3â is exciting but Caitlin needs to start taking more efficient shots from 3. Too often settles for deep logo 3âs and her % from that distance is bad.
Iâd love to see her add a floater in the lane as well. If she scores more on drives to the paint it will open up more 3âs for her. Right now sheâs too easy to defend
She almost never has a chance for those though. Sheâs guarded close 94 ft, and it gets worse the closer she gets to the basket. The best chance at an *open* shot is from half-court lol
Hope the time off will include shooting free throws; FTs seem to be very mediocre throughout the WNBA (Some exceptions, of course)..
I have to say that somewhere along the way that intelligent people should know that what you eat (food dyes, coloring, preservatives) can and do cause migraines. No matter whether they are sponsors or not.
When is the management we bave rhe best two players in the leage no coaching
Sports are entertainment, entertainment involves characters that the audience cares about. CC is entertaining and is the character that the audience wants. Her talent is top-notch, but her personality is the secret sauce. The W doesnât seem to get it, this is their best shot of becoming a legit league instead of a joke. They so far seem hell-bent on the latter.
CC might just accept an offer from the 3-on-3 league or go to Europe leaving the W worse off than before. They would lose a huge fan base for their shortsightedness and unlikely to get them back. Pettiness, racism and mean-girl cliques are not pretty and it is not entertaining, but that is exactly how the league appears. If the W blows this and it will be the former fans that will be petty and it can look forward to attendance of only 2,000 a game having to give away 1,000 tickets just to deaden the empty echos. CC sells tickets, jerseys and attracts viewers, bitter girl thugs not so much.
Wish I could communicate this with Caitlin.
Sumatriptan a game changer no other otc will turn will treat migraine the pain in the brain i know.
Wondered about her last 2 games shes been off with her shooting. She needs to take more shoots whether 2's with layups or 3's, stop being Bostons and Mitchells ball passer. Also Caitlin needs to change up her dribbling routine, other teams have figured out her rhymth, they are stealing the ball more from her, she had like 3 balls stolen from her in one game.
Clark needs to work on her offensive rebounding she's far too lackadaisical when it comes to keeping the ball until a basket is made.
She looks like a younger version of her dad with long hair. She should thank him for encouraging her to play basketball because she won't get far on her looks.
