If you haven't found out yet, let me tell you that the spot near the clutch lever where you said something about the missing screw is actually an attachment point where you can screw a ram ball. That's where I attached my phone when I owned this bike. It's definitely better than sitting in front of the tach
Great video. You got me hooked when you said theres alot of videos out there but... and i wanted to hear your pov. But when you said your pushing it to its full potential. I can guarantee you your not lol especially if its your first bike. Take it on the track and you gon learn t'day lol
Ticking sound during first start in the morning is normal. At that moment oil has not reached yet the top part of the engine where the valves and cams are located. Once the engine heats up and the oil "wakes", the ticking sound will be minimised
Fir your 5th point, you could get a gel padded seats or air pocket seats but they do will increase the bike height. For mirrors, you could get the handle mirrors. RAM MOUNTS those are totally a no no incompatible mounts. Get yourself a new one which comes from inside the metal frames of the windshield. It will also not block your meter console. 14:20 I wish you could get a 400RR. The sound of parallel twin cylinder along with the echoing sound of a litre class engine would had definitely pumped you up. Anyways, you still have a long way to go. Just remember your required CC's. In my opinion, Ninja 600RRs are way better than 1000ccs. Everyday good to go bike, either on tracks on on roads. Have a safe ride & keep sharing up your contents.
Hey, nice little comprehensive video. Good looking bike my man! Funny thing my biggest complaint with the bike is how the mirror look and the bad sounding exhaust just as you mentioned however yours sounds pretty dang good. Slip on or full? brand? Thanks
I agree that the seats to hard. And the exhaust could sound better. But i like the mirrors. And the phone mount you put on has nothing to do with the bike. What is the slip on exhaust you got ?
when you let the bike sit for a while or start it cold it will idle really low and slowly start to warm up sometimes it mite stall and the ticking ive noticed it on most 400s the ticking when its turned off is just it cooling down
Recommend a trickle charger if your letting it sit. You can install the lead to easily plug it in when needed. If your still having troubles you may need a new battery. The stock battery is not the best.
That’s the opposite of my experience? I thought engines usually idle high on cold starts. My Ninja starts up and stays at 2k for awhile, but then once its warmed up, it slows down to 1300. Same with my car, it starts up at 1500 rpm, but once it’s ready, it slows to like 800
Here’s a tip on the seat what I did with my Kawasaki, Z 400. Take the seat off you will notice that there are two bolts attached to the motorcycle with a bracket which the seat rests upon. I found longer bolts at the dollar store that fit perfectly there through some washers. Maybe about an inch thick underneath that bracket and tightened it. There is also a seat pad from Amazon that I bought and attached to that Amazon seat. Then I put a sponge, between the seat and the seat pad to raise it up even more. Which is the perfect length for my taint. I sit a little higher, but now I have more legroom with that and handlebar risers. But of course I have the naked version of this motorcycle.
The ticking could be your valves needing adjusting. It’s a normal thing on every bike. It won’t just run perfect like a car for 100k miles. With bikes, we have to manually check valves every once in a while, cars auto adjust. It could also be your cam chain. Bikes can be a bit of maintenance. Same with any bike you will own. Ride safe, enjoy the ride
6:45, that screw you're missing is there to be replaced with a ball-joint or anything else you might want to mount your phone with, ironic how you noticed right as you talked about having no space to mount your phone XD
Nah man, the ticking sound is just the metal expanding and contracting. All cars do that if you ride them for a while and let them cool down. Or vice versa. Similar to ice cracking sounds but its completely normal.
Plz may I get all the mods u used? I just got a ninja 400 and I got 2 mo ths to buy gear and mods before bike season. Please help me man. I liked ur seat change and phone mount 🙏
If you're getting a 600s next year, have a glimpse on CF MOTO 450SS/SR or 600SS/SR. It's way better (close to) Ninja 600RR & much affordable than R6. References : czcams.com/video/keVCEj2DEnE/video.html
7:46 That ticking sound when your bike us standing idle with engine off is normal. Unless your bike is over 2 years (give or take) old. And when engine running or revving, if it sounds rattling as a chain then get your timing chain done recaliberated.
I'm upgrading from ninja 250 i test run some motorcycle's and the cfmoto 450ss is a good motorcycle i mean it may not be very reliable but it's amazing the sound you will like the cfmot 450ss and the Bluetooth display. I think im just geting the ninja 400 because i know its reliable and the ninja a good motorcycle but the moto 450 get a 270-degree crank so you will like the sound . czcams.com/video/RgsXAaEeAqQ/video.html
Thank God you kept pointing at the bike. I would not have noticed the bike otherwise.

I’m glad you pointed out that missing screw area on the handle bar lol. I didn’t notice it as well but it’s stock that way
I hate theres no tie down spots on/under the back seat... And there are very few ugly racks or saddle bag options that dont hit exhaust
Your phone mount is not part of your bike .. you put it there..lol nice you keeping your bike .. zx6r as your next bike stay in Kawasaki family ..
Lmao I know. But I am going change it . Tbh I have friends with zx6R they also sound super clean
