his servant is supposed to have a pole with baggage on it on his shoulder while on top of the horse, that is the whole point of the gag. try the prop, it will get laughs. I know the play if you want me to make a few more points like this, not sure if you are ever doing it again... oops! I just saw the bag, I didn't notice it till he threw it down! Well, ok... you have the prop... nvm... (I think it was intended to be a yoke style carrier, though)
