- How to Adjust Suspension On ATV // I finally decided its time to soften the ride on my Cfmoto ATV. This Cfmoto Cforce 500 had a stiff ride. When I checked the springs they were set all the way for a stiff suspension.

If cforce line came with the maxiss Zillas stock it would be #1 machine.....boom!!!
Hi Fanatical....I put a set of 26×11×12 rear..26×9×12 front Maxiss Zillas on my 22 cforce plus 1.5 perfect lift and 1 inch spacers all round.........Game Changer..fantastic.....night and day difference....completely 100 percent better
Did it help with the ride softness?
I have the 600 touring, i carry lots of gear and i am a big man. to get the ride i wanted i adjusted my shocks down but lost lots of ground clearance. I invested in the 1.5 inch perfex lift kit and i have the good ride but still have a good ground clearance. My spanner wrench did not go around the shock so i had to grind it out a bit, i also flattened the end on a short piece of conduit and it works as a handle on the spanner. I use a maddog dos strap on seat cover, helps keep the rear cool and has extra padding.
Great videos, beautiful country. Thanks for the videos
Ya I forgot to mention I don't weigh much and when on the atv it doesn't squat much if at all. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊
Tires can make a huge difference in the ride also. Most atv factory tires are not that good . Keeps cost down. A good set of tires cost almost as much as a car or truck these days . I picked up a set of maxis carnivores and really like them. $1250 . Definitely hurt the wallet.
O yeh...100 percent better fanatical
Glad that’s working out for ya
Yes sir!
Hey fanatical....just a tip for cforce 500s riders suspension adjustments...
I have 26 Zillas 11 on the back 9 on the front 1.5 spacers all round and 1.5 lift
Here's my set up
1.front 4psi
2.front shocks 1 postion up from the very bottom
3.rear 5psi
4.shocks 1 position down from the very top
You can fine tune from there
Don't bother spending a pile of dough for those elks
Thanks and hell no lol
If u Jack it from the frame on the front same as back it might help. No load on spring from holding up bike that way
The mic haha, I did an hour in the kayak fishing and talking, no sound when I got home.
I'd say you could drop it all the way and have the best ride possible. Maybe air pressure lowered too.
Kenny
lol yes I'm thinking the same. Thanks for your advice Kenny
Did those mirrors came when u bouth the quad or do u have a link for them
Those mirrors are actually part of the windshield
I didn't realize they don't have back brakes
Wanted to ask if you have adjusted the valves at all on this machine? I'm thinking of getting one but don't like that the first 20 hour service says that they need to be adjusted. I have seen other videos of guys saying they don't adjust them until 1000 miles but the manual says 200 hundred miles or 320K. It looks like a real pain to get to the valves too.
No haven't touched them.
Appreciate the vid..but bud..stop ramblin....
🤣🤣🤣...fu
