Using gentle fist to enhance the tenketsu points instead of closing them is one of those setups without resolution that hurts the most. The Hyuga seemed focused in one versatile style at the beginning, but then they were reduced to the same two or so techniques over and over

How I'd make Tenten realistically more useful:
1. Have her learn first-aid. Not everybody can be a medical-ninja, but common first aid, anybody could do. Give her access to military ration pills. And place all of that into one of her summoning scrolls.
2. Teach her the Shuriken Shadow Clone Technique. Guy doesn't, Lee can't, and Neji only does Hyuga-related Ninjutsu. Well she could learn something new.
3. Have her create her own "Deadly Swordsman" sword.
4. Maybe teach her about using poisons. She doesn't have to be as readly as Hanzo or Sasori, but certainly Shizune could teach her something.
5. Have her sign a contract with a ninja animal. It certainly doesn't have to be with Guy's tortoise, but something.
6. Sasuke had these shuriken bands on his wrists he could summon and throw multiple shuriken while fighting Itachi. Give her that ability.
All excellent suggestions.

And do you recall in episode 373 (forgot which chapter) when the Konoha 12 reunited and fought together, everybody showing off their latest best attacks? Tenten wasn't there (lol). I'd like to imagine she would have released some kind of scroll that released a giant iron dragon, with Kunai for scales, and a cannon for a nose. It would shoot a cannon ball and release all the kunai in a dazzling corkscrew spiral pattern.
Also, since she wasn't in the front-line, she never learned that simple Earth style wall that Ino instructed everyone to learn. I could definitely see Tenten as a Rock style user.
@@1992holycrap last one, I don't promise. Tenten starts off with a pair of tonfa to fight an opponent. Each tonfa has a summoning symbol for a new weapon so that she can change on the fly which weapon she needs for the opponent. She could go: Right Tonfa-> Bo Staff-> Sword-> Bow & Arrow.
Or Left Tonfa-> Nunchuck-> Chain-Sickle-> Giant Ninja Throwing Star
Absolutely. Honestly first even pops to mind for the summon animal could just be the easy answer of the konoha village ninja hounds(or ninja cats honestly till boruto they were rarely brought up I think but see better uses for hounds honestly) kakashi uses to contibute for tracking side of things and could be easy way to bring on temporary comic relief if one would so choose. I see it as weird oversight that it is big part tsunades arc to make it that every three man team has a medic ninja of some level and yet nothing for team guy(not sure if unfounded, but it is shown that different jutsu could be sealed within a scroll and deployed later when unsealed is it that much of a stretch that team guy would have to have tenten at least have a number of sealed medical jutsu of some strength and medical supplies for in the field). As well to the shuriken shadow clone technique why a limited use of the clone and shadow clone technique to attack with kenjutsu from multiple angles(perhaps some form of cresent moon technique) or pressure while throwing going to throw items through(more likely with the regular clone as no material creation needed and less chakra used). If not poison, I don't see and an immediate reason why not(hopefully in combination with the shuriken shadow clone technique) to say she didn't at some point look into change in chakra shape as to up the range, speed, or impact of her thowing tools at a minimum.
Would also be great with some ninjutsu to camouflage her attacks, or set up traps like deidara while attacking from above

I believe tenten could have been relevant if the either given her weapons that allowed use of elemental attacks i think giving her mastery over her elemental chakra through her weapons and fuunjustsu it would be perfect
I feel a "fix" for tenten would be to lean into the fact she's a sharpshooter. Give her a winged summon or something and let her do mop up work so the others can tackle the major threats without getting bogged down.
Hell she's even supposed to be good at sealing with Some rudimentary medical knowledge. Not enough to heal but enough to know how to incapacitate! She could easy be a mix of long distance and versatile assassin.

I could also see tenten as a scout that sets up death traps, wires and straight up paperbomb mines blowing enemies limbs off. Then retreat and snipe them while passing your death zone.
Ninja tool usage can defenately be crazy snd she was the perfect character to crank that up to 11.

Honestly, I would love to see Tenten get buffs, because weapons are the easiest things to improve on.
1) Could be a sneaky weapon user. As shown with Haku, a weapon user with really good accuracy can be pretty formidable, even without the mirrors. If team Guy needed to do some stealth missions, that would force Lee into the backseat, Neji could probably take intel, and Tenten could start picking off enemies from a distance.
2) Let her throw hands as well! Characters like Asuma and Temari have techniques that completely rely on tools, and they’re still powerhouses. Tenten should take a page from their book and learn some destructive weapon techniques. If her other teammates are going to be offensive sledgehammers, she should get a chance to join the brawl.
3) Have her obtain or steal weapons. There’s lots of cool weapons in the Narutoverse and lots of them pass between people. Maybe Tenten can steal weapons from her enemies or find them locked away. Or team Guy could have an intense battle and as a sign of respect, the enemy passes a weapon onto her before dying. (There could also just be a wild running gag in the background of Team Guy just casually stealing their enemies’ weapons and passing them to Tenten). Maybe not all of the weapons work for her, but at least there would be a variety!
4) Showing how weapons are made. Maybe she’s never destined to be as powerful as her teammates, but she makes up for it in utility. She could design and create weapons/tools. Then whenever someone in the Konoha 13 need a thing made, they can just say “I know a guy” and it cuts to them talking to Tenten in a workshop or something. If she’s going to be average as a fighter, let her use her experiences to better equip others (and let her have a hobby when she’s not on the clock).
There is a easier way to make Neji stronger. He should learn Medical Ninjutsu.
Tsunade said every tree man team should have a Medical Ninja. Neji could be team Guy's MN. He has the chakra control for it. I mean, Hinata learned the mystic palm tecnique.
If he masters the strength of 100 seal, he survives the 4th great shinobi war.
Honestly, even from a character development standpoint, it would be really cool to see Neji as a healer, especially after the medical emergency he caused in his fight with Hinata. Plus, there might be medical techniques that only Hyugas are able to do

Narratively he should have gotten an MS equivalent for the Byakugan. Hinata as well.
Medical jutsu are also a viable addon and propably work amazingly with near petfect vision.
Also expanding chakra points fot zemporal buffs for his allies. Pumping out more chakra easier.
Speeds up the gates too. And fix the damage after with the medical abilities.
Koji’s summoning fire technique is a perfect way to make tenten useful. She had shown the ability to summon natural elements and such before.
If she went with ninjutsu specialists, she could spawn elements to assist their fighting especially in the boruto era

Are there any weapons that pull in chakra to replenish the user? That would probably help level her up since she'd have infinite chakra for infinite elemental weapon enhancements.
When I first saw her, I thought she was going to get one of the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist weapons and get really strong (maybe have a more even rematch with Temari). It seems like she got some of them after I stopped reading, but it didn't go as well because she didn't have the chakra to use them properly, or something.
Right, they gave a whole few episode b plot to her having the idea of summoning an immense amount of water. Just I suppose no interest in implementing it as part of her kit, I guess.
I don’t get why people single out Tenten as having no screentime. The entirety of the Naruto side cast got forgotten about. Hell even some of the main cast.
It’s because Tenten is the funniest side character, her whole ability is just “I got a scroll that shoots metal stuff out of it”
kiba got some time as hinata teamate same with shino and shino can make bugs that explode out of your body so that explain why he isnt much in use while kurenai got pregnant and became a mom next is asuma who got kill to give shikamaru a life leason,team ino shika chou got some screen time fighting kakuzu and hidan especially shikamaru team guy got the short end of the stick with neji suppose to be dead but then got bought back cause the viewer like him same with rock lee so they didnt do much purely out of the reason the authour didnt plan for it(leading to neji sacrefice but rock lee did get that cool flying thunder dog kunai throw sceen and then might guy is jsut might guy and team 7 is basically alway in the spot lightand then there ten ten sitting around with some cool sharp piece of metal yea she got the sage weapon but it not like she use it much after the reincarnated gold and silver brother battle
tldr: the rest have some logical reason to be relavent while tenten got barely any beside that one time where she got her spine nearly snap in half

Team Kurenai is team 8. They are much easier to power up.
Hinata should either became a medical ninja or learn genjutsu from Kurenai. Both line up with her caracther.
Seeing her training with Tsunade and Shizune, along side Sakura and Ino would be intresting.
Shino just has to work on his taijutsu. He could reach out to Rock Lee. It would be fun to see those 2 training together.
And Kiba could reach out to Kakashi to learn ninjutsu. I mean, it's not like Kakashi was training Sakura during the time skip, so he had time.
If Tenten learned medical ninjutsu, she could heal Gai or Lee after Neji turned their chakra off. And it would give Tenten an actual use.
That was mentioned in filler episodes.

Sakura was allways showed as a very intellectuell chara. Medicin is something, where you probally need high int.
In addition is it etableshed, that medic jutsu need high chaklra controll. Something, that was given her even very early in the story. Aside of Genjutsu, are medic jutsu the perfect thing for her, from what us was telled.
Tenten by the other hand was allways showed as a weapon master. Specific, a throwing weapon master (it was sayed, that she allways hit the mark). So, its logical, to improve her power by increasing her weapon skills/ the power of her weapons (infusing weapon with element power to allowing her energy blast like attacks, like the flying slash or Getsuga Tenshou, or Jutsu like the shuriken kagebunshin no jutsu).

It was stated in the data books, that she was the only one in the chunin exam, who finished the test without cheating (Shikamaru was probally able to do that to, but to lazy, he set on Ino, that she will write the answers for him).
And it was allways sayed, that she had a very high chakra controll. In combination with her inteligence, was she more suited for using genjutsu (what was never used, even with the build up).
Ino has learned medic jutsu to (she is healing Kakashi by the fight with Kakuzu). And Hinata had the chakra controll for it. But simply didnt tried to learn medic (because, Medic is complex, probally even in the naruto verse). And like i sayed, had the anime showed fillers, where TenTen tried to learn medic jutsu. But failed in that. She is more suited for summoning things and beeing a weapon master. And should have evolved with better weapon or weapon based jutsu (like chakra cloaked attacks).
Tenten is easy to fix. You just have to give her useful tools. Magic swords turn a kenjutsu specialist into a ninjutsu specialist.
Even better, Neji could teach them where the point is so that they don't even need Neji anymore. The same way Shira learned all the points, somehow, on his own, in a village where nobody probably knew about the eight gates or the technique Shira was using, but who knows
I always thought that there werent enough "average summons" all of the summons were these big beasts but i feel like especially in a clan focused on summoning there shouldve been more animal summons and this is where Ten Ten could be useful get her to summon several birds that together make expert wind jutsu, give her salamanders or something that can make fire jutsu, or give her support summons like birds that can carry her to while she flings kunai or give her turtles she can use as sheilds or give her eels that can immobolise opponents nothing thats overpowered but compliment her abilities she oddly has such unspecific powers that they give her so much potential

I have a few ways of fixing tenten the first is giving her the ability to add chakra to her weapons which includes her actual body because a true weapons master of mistress knows that your own body is a weapon.
So she should have been the best medic and also ninja there was.
Look at Shigure Kōsaka from Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple and Tsunade as well as Haku and Sakura Shizune and Kabuto Yakushi you take the skills and abilities and add them to tenten and you actually made her better.
The next thing you could do is give her legendary weapons like the six swords of the Mist and the tools of the sage of six paths and other legendary weapon and tools from other franchises for example all of the weapons from Inuyasha most definitely Tessaiga.
There is at least three or four ways to fix her that I just mentioned.

The two fixes for Tenten are allowing her to learn sealing jutsu from the ozamaki , or giving her the sword of the second hokage from the filler episode
a fix for tenten could be kenjutsu. she has a wind affinity. add a sword instat of pure throwing weapons and she becomes so much more dangerous. heck, give her some poison as well.
would she become as strong as the rest oh her team? no, but every bit helps in her case.

Honestly if you need to either kill the chakra or rebuild the heart or maybe both, then even if Neji can't fix the heart, he should be able to enable something like Hundred Healings or some similar healing jutsu to do the regeneration for him, it's not like it's *entirely* unprecedented, so even if he can satisfy half the equation that's still a huge boon

I was looking forward for the way you'd do Tenten (no one likes her lol) *without* making her a medical ninja, because that role would fit Neji better. Neji stopping chakra and having knowledge of medical stuff would've been great for his character! I also think it was unfair that Tenten was not better a taijutsu, in case the weapons don't work. She could've used some cool summonings and be helpful that way, right? Let me fantasize about a small arc where she goes out and hunts weapons along with the Sand Siblings who teach her fans and puppets' techniques (a truce between Tenten and Temari after growing up)! Is it too much? Lol. Anyway, all of them should've been taught Guy's fighting style the way Lee was taught.

What damage does opening the 8th gate does to the body. Gentle fist may be able to close the gate, but activating it may cause irreparable damage to the body.
Ie. The heart may be weakened to the point shutting off the gate may just kill them anyway
one way to buff tenten would be to give her the hiraishin, it fits with her skill set and just imagine if she created a variation that allowed her to teleport merked objects to her hand. she wouldn't need to open her scroll to grab weapons.

A more "simple" fix:
TenTen:
Her entire thing is being good at identifying and using weapons. In Boruto, she even becomes an arms dealer/potential arms maker.
So we make her a Batman styled character. She makes her equipment, and uses that equipment to augment herself, increase her versatility, and exploit any known weaknesses of those she is facing. This is passed down to her team.
For example, her Team doesn't have many ranged options. So she creates ranged weapons, bombs, etc. that the team can use.
This is combined with her learning of summoning. Before she needed summoning scrolls to conjure her equipment, but now she can summon and unsummon her equipment directly.
This allows her to adapt very quickly to battlefield needs, provided she has created a piece of equipment for the current situation she finds herself in. It also prevents her enemies from stealing and making use of her equipment, which would have been a concern for her.
Neji:
During his fight with the Spider Nin, Neji realized two things.
First, he is very vulnerable to foes that fight at a distance. Second, he can hurt people from a distance by transferring his chakra through a material and into a person who's touching that material.
So Neji asks himself "If I'm touching water, and my foe is touching the water, can I transfer my chakra through that water and into my foe?"
The answer to that is probably yes. If anything is going to transfer chakra well, it's probably going to be water given it's scientific nature as a good conductor for electricity and it's symbolic nature as liquid.
So Neji learns Water Release and uses that to attack, defend, and cover the area in water. Once an area is sufficiently covered he can just hit them from range with his Gentle Fist, and his foes may not even realize that is possible or that the area underneath them is soaked.
This would act like an extension of his Gentle Fist, and allow him to gloat over the Main Branch as he figured out and mastered an entirely new application for Gentle Fist.

Years ago I was steeped in Naruto. Completely lived and breathed it to the point where i researched intricacies of various jutsu and kekkei genkai and brainstormed how new combos might and even tried to make my own ttrpg system set in the universe but then, after my 3rd rewatch of shippuden I let it go and for the longest time believed Naruto was over and done for me.... Then I found your content two weeks ago.. And bing bang boom Naruto flying raijined back into my life and now I am back in the hole.. And I don't know wether to be grateful or blame you for bringing this obsession back into my life 😅🤣

Honestly the best way to buff Tenten is to give her medical ninjutsu, I know there was a filler episode where she tried but sucked at it but imagine if she carried on & became a Medical Ninja:
1) Firstly she is the member that stays furthest away by default (being a weapons expert & all) so having her being the medical ninja would make sense, plus medical ninjas train in evasion (because if they die they can't heal anyone). So with good aim, good at weapon combat, medical ninjutsu & being a expect/master of evasion plus 3 layers of the best Taijutsu specialists in the Leaf (& 2 of the fastest characters in the series in Guy & Lee) Tenten would basically be unreachable to most Ninja.
2) With her perfect aim she can throw antidotes to her poisoned teammates with pinpoint accuracy instead of having to inject it at point blank range putting herself in danger.
3) We saw in Tsunade battle with Kabuto that 1 hit from Tsunade could alter someone's nerve system or how about Kabuto when he damaged Naruto's internal organs without damaging the skin. Now imagine if Tenten's weapons were coated her weapons in a similar tranquillizer or Medical Ninjutsu that could bypass the skin & hit internal organs. She'd basically be Sasori light, controlling multiple deadly weapons with Chakra strings coated in "chakra poison" where 1 hit & your done that's just like Sasori with his poisons & his puppets (not as good but in the same ball park), but being Sasori light is better then being just above cannon fodder.
As for Neji, give him a few gates maybe 1-2 just to show he's working hard & is rejecting the Hyuga's ways & is walking his own path now, as well as maybe Lightning Release to improve his reflexes, give him a speed boost to keep up with Guy & Lee & adding a stunning effect to his attacks.
Since everyone is focusing on how to buff TenTen, I also have an idea that maybe could work (don't know if we would have to tweak the lore a bit) have Neji tell her what happened on the Sasuke Retrieval Arc with that Spider-like Sound 5 Ninja (don't remember his name).
She could base her fighting style on a sort of Archer tactic, and pierce their opponent with arrows that have strings attached to them, that Neji could use to touch and Paralyze their opponents from long range, maybe even like a 100 m.
If Ten Ten could be a Sharpshooter, coat her arrows in poison, and have basically a One Hit Stun Button next to her, then she's basically useful on a Teamwork setting.
I think a suitable route for Tenten would be to lean into a puppet master role. She would be able to cover the mid to long range issue and with her mastery of weapons it would be fun to watch her actually use them, as opposed to simply tossing them at the enemy or restricting herself to what she could hold as an individual.
Ngl the thought of someone with Yuji's physicality using Total Concentration Breathing, One For All, or the Eight Gates sounds terrifyingly amazingly
It makes sense in the sense that their all 3 taijutsu, making them compete more closely and forcing them to get better

I always thought it would be interesting if Neji used a bow. He had a perfect point of suggestion for it considering he was thinking of his loss against Naruto and how it changed him while fighting Kidomaru, who used a bow. Wanting change and grow stronger could have led him to consider using a bow after that fight especially with a weapon specialist as a teammate and i can only imagine a Hyuga deactivating your tenketsu point with arrows from a distance.
You ever think that the reason why the Hyuga were known as the strongest in the leaf was because back in the day, they did understand how to force open a persons eight gates but that technique was forbidden as sure it kills the enemy 100% if the time but 50% of the time you also die to the person who youve just forced into the 8th gate😂
If whe add the novel into it, would the Hyuuga be the strongest, because they can nullify most typs of ninjutsu.
Juuken can not only destroy the chakra network. It can even cut tough chakra bullets (like fire bomb) and nullifying that attack (a half Hyuuga nearly beated Shisui and Itachi, because of that).
In addition should there eyes make them very good with bow`s and snipping (except, they are missing the strenght for the bows). They can see tough objects and very fast away. That make hiding tactics logical (the close combat is even the fighting stil, that maked the less sense for me, with that eyes).
And, dont forget, that all that they need to kill someone, can be one finger and hit (like, how Neijis/Hinatas father killed the kidnapper, or, how Himarawi knocked out Naruto^^).
To this, we could add Tenten having an arc where she rivals Suigetsu for the 7 swords of the midst as well as the 6 paths weapons and there ya go. She could use the midst weapons mostly and then conserve chakra for the 6 paths when they’re necessary. It’d be excellent mid and long range support for the team

Given how hard Kakashi had to work for just 2 gates, I'm not sure how feasible you plan would be is going to be. As for Ten Ten, her best case is to: 1. master sealing jutsu and/or 2. place seals containing genjutsu on her kunai before launching them. Tactile genjutsu is such a cool concept, but we've never seen it.
If Ino used the Mind Transfer Jutsu on Madara she'd prolly end the war...or not

I remember Ultimate Ninja 3 had an Ultimate Jutsu named "Last Resort: Eight Gates Assault" which was a hypothetical jutsu that Neji learned to fight against Lee of he ever used the Eight Gates against him. The Hyuga have way too much waisted potential
One way to make TenTen more useful: teach her how to coat her ninja tools with chakra and elemental chakra natures.a barrage of kunai with lighting and/or wind nature would cut more deeply, fly faster and and perhaps ever further away. A fire mace would be terrifying. Even a batton with fiery ends, and a mid section reinforced with Earth would be interesting
Just imagine the character arc of Neji learning medical ninjutsu. Supporting those he looks down on and he'd have a better understanding of the chakra system than any other mednin

Tenten with a White-Crane Summoning would go crazy it matches her fighting style too. Also I wish she could like place a restriction sealing jutsu on the So6p Tools so they cant use as much chakra from her. Also giving her flying rajin too so she can evade her own gigantic iron ball explosions but idk since she has teleportion jutsu and spacetime ninjutsu already. If she had elemental ninjutsu she would literally be Mid Kage Level.

My only issue with this is that given the nature of the 8 gates, once they're opened there's probably already so much chakra flowing through them that a typical gentle fist attack probably wouldn't be able to disrupt them. It'd be like trying to short out an electric fence with a bug zapper.

You could just have Tenten learn some healing jutsu using her scrolls so she can help Guy and Lee to recover faster. If she can use the scrolls for weapons, i assume she can use them for medicine, surgery tools and supplements

Honestly if Tenten got the 8 Gates she’d MASSIVELY benefit from the chakra boost- she’s almost able to use the tools of the Sage of Six Paths, give her the chakra to use them properly and she’d be far more useful on the battlefield from that alone.
This would be really nice for Rock Lee's Suicide Corps. Just train up some Hyūgas to partner up with them and Bingo winning all around.

Couldnt Nadji turn off a person's chakara to save them from the eighth gate??? That makes him being on that team make more sense.
It's a fun idea, but I think you're missing a big problem - piercing the heart to open the gate in the first place. A quick google search indicates that in our world, about 60% of people pierced through the heart will die from that wound. Even without boiling blood, the increased heart rate and blood pressure are going to rip that piercing wide, wide open. Yes, Neji may be able to stop the flow of chakra and end the damaging process, but the extent of the damage done would be pretty much guaranteed death. Neji can't save them from the Death Gate, he can just stop it from compounding the damage.
The fix for Tenten is getting her to slow down a little bit. Always moving that fast without a Sharingan causes massive tunnel vision.
Theres a way to buff Tenten. It may be filler, but she did idolize Tsunade, so maybe she copies Hashirama sword style. Those weapons he keeps in his scroll he used against Madara. Those were passed down through the generations or broken, have Tenten get his sword. Senju learned everything right, they probably know some killer kenjutsu moves.
I haven't even watched a video yet but if their is a way to see a powerful neji, tenten, rock lee and guy fighting madera I want to see that animated please

Also if a perfect Jenkurkie learned the 8 gates could the tailed beast interpret their Chakra network to stop it like they do with genjutus?
I would also like to see a 5 palms of death attack where maybe they let the flow of Chakra all the way from the first gate down to the eighth.

The way to fix Tenten is to just have her learn or have her add something to her arsenal that merges nicely and compliments her inhuman speed. I am actually convinced that she is able to teleport like Goku and the same way he is able to as well which perfectly explains why one second she isnt anywhere to be seen and then the next she is all of a sudden where everyone else is.
Actually Tenten with the Bansho Fan would actually get some use out of the eight gates. The increase to her chakra pool would allow her to use it longer.
I think one fun way to fix Tenten is to give her a summoning contract with the monkey clan the third hokage had. Imagine her weilding a monkey king Enma staff and at least partially mastering monkey sage mode.

Just picturing Tenten using eight gates. Hitting people with weapons so hard they shatter as she continuously summons more. Each weapon different so they couldn't possibly cope.

I don't think it'd be too hard to make Tenten relevant to the team dynamic. Lee and Guy serve as really oppressive close combat specialists who can put pressure on enemies and Neji, while also very good in close quarters can serve primarily as in a sensory role, reading the battlefield and anticipating enemy movements. Meanwhile Tenten with her endless arsenal of weapons and insight from Neji's vision could focus on diversionary/surprise tactics. Stealing enemy focus with her flurry of long range weapons coming in from unpredictable directions so Lee and Guy can make decisive blows or alternatively having Lee/Guy pressure enemies into traps she set up. Tenten could be the answer to long range battle if well coordinated with the rest of the team, covering them so they can get within effective range of the enemy and make the most of their taijutsu as well as being dangerous herself if you get close to her.
Here's a good way to fix Tenten: Give her the ability to stream Nature Transformations through her weapons, and give her a dedicated default weapon such as a sword or pair of daggers. That on it's own wouldn't make her the most powerful by any stretch, but her power would jump up a lot.

-Make Tenten train in elemental chakra:
Use weapons with lightning/wind... release like asuma.
-Tenten is decent at fuinjutsu:
Seal jutsus in scrolls and spam ninjutsu on combat, she can even make other ninjas do the jutsus and she just store it.
-She is a master of space-time ninjutsu:
Do like Kashin koji and summon a fire on your enemies.
-Do a contract with something that flies, like Sasuke with the hawk, this way she can keep distance with enemies.
Fuinjutsu and Space-time ninjustu added, make her lear learn Flying Raijin:
*She can teleport a taijustu specialist to a mark she has done on an enemy or shuriken.
*She can summon a bomb on an enemy she has marked.
*She can reposition herself to keep fighting from mid-long distance.
And obviously gave her a better arsenal of weapons:
-A special weapon of her own.
-Poisonous darts:
-Senbons.
-Powerful weapons she can steal and store in scrolls.
Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2's Neji had a special move that did basically that. It was called Zesshou: Hachimon Hougeki.

I would have loved to see people with the Byakugan should use it for more than just Taijutsu
Imagine a medical ninja with the Byakugan being able to see internal injuries, and the chakra network of the patient would make healing them way easier
Or a Genjutsu user with the Byakugan who uses their ability to see the Chakra network of their target to better and more easily control it

I think they are literally breaking the 8th gate when they puncture it. So whilst opening 1 to 7 is like opening a door and you still have the possibility to close it, when it comes to the 8th you're literally blowing it off of its hinges and you cant close a door that's no longer there. IF it worked like that then since the chakra flows linearly it would still be possible to close the 7th which would effectively be like closing the 8th as chakra would no longer have a path to reach it then they'd be limited to 6 gates after Neji comes through and closes the 7th. Then from that point on opening the 7th would be like opening the 8th. They'd also probably need a really powerful healer to fix the damage if they wanted to remain useful after it, let alone do it again
So I have a question. Now that Kakashi has all his chakra back could he open more then the First Gate? We can assume that he has an inmense amount of chakra because not anyone would be able to handle the Sharingan without being an Uchiha or having a crazy amount of chakra.

I don't think the gates were ever described as having zero flow through them when "closed". I always viewed them as dam gates with low flow in the "closed" state and maximal flow in the "open" state.

Off the top of my head maybe she could have taken the medical route but also study poisons. To be able to still be a kenjustu specialist who is also a medic. She can rely openings from a distance relied on by her team fighting up close
My fix for Tenten would be turning her into a true Sniper type. She learns; or even better creates, a jutsu that allows her to channel chakra into her thrown weapons so that they travel at extreme speeds and distance. By the time the enemy senses or sees the attack it's already too late to react. Combine that with Yamanaka sensory abilities and she would've been an absolute menace during the war.
