  • Ep. 1 of our Track Guide Series!
    Here's a beginner's guide to an Ontario favourite, Shannonville Motorsports Park. We'll go over the mistakes that I've made so that you can approach your next track day with some clear goals, so you don't waste precious seat time on lines that aren't ideal. Make sure to keep your eyes up, 'cause Shannonville is fast and fun, but also unforgiving, should you go off course.

    Turn 6 was my nemesis on a bike... My favorite track for bikes

      this track was engineered to be a bike track, I'm grateful we get to race it in our cars

    Nice! Shanny still my fav track. Technical enough that you can take multiple lines. Also lightweight low power cars shine here because of all the lengthy mid/high speed corners

      yeah, in our Lucky Dog endurance car, the NUMMI Racing 86 actually kept up so well with the higher powered cars that we got bumped up a class, low power/good handling cars truly shine here

      Making the track guides I wish I had when I first started tracking - it's for the culture!

    Nice Video. Am Thinking about taking my e30 there this year (if it's ready and COVID allows). Looks like more fun with the e30 vs my e92 M3 which weighs 1100 lbs heavier. I do have a question: What are you using for the video editing in your clip?

      Socially distanced lapping, time attack, and road racing happened last year with no outbreaks at tracks, so I think its very likely we'll be continuing for 2021. As for video editing, we use a combination of OBS Studio and ZoomIt for the on screen drawings

    What are fast times here? I only been to tmp

    • @bsquaredmotorsports
      @bsquaredmotorsports  Před 3 lety +2

      If 1.20 is a fast time at TMP, the similar benchmark would be 2 mins flat at Shannonville Long
