The recording doesn't even capture 30% of how intense it is to experience this in person. Seeing ghost note live is literally face melting.
Exactly that…
I wish I could listen to these live performances on Spotify. This is the absolute pinnacle of funkie vibes
That horn breakdown at 4:57 is originally from Prince’s live version of America in 1985. It’s SO funky!!!
DAYYYYHUUUMMMMM. Weather Report, Jaco, Herbie, Miles, Yellowjackets, Billie Cobham, so many others but even still this is at the NEXT level. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. They have done with this what Netflix, the IPhone, Uber has done to their respective industries, and that is take sh%t to the next level. This some Next Level sh*t right here. That dude on percussion, that is my boy man. Love that dude. Everybody is a beast in this band. Mononeon ain't human, neither is Sput.
Hey Bro I don't know you,you don't know me. But DAYUUUM your comment is on point!!!!! The passion I hear just in this comment made me say it's good to know that I'm not the only One that feels this like you! THIS WAS FREAKING NASTY!
Take Care My Brother!!!!!
OMG they covered my favorite insane Brecker Brothers song!
They’re just amazing..
I can’t describe them one word.
THE AMERICA LICK FROM THE LIVE VERSION THAT PRINCE DID. Straight heat.
Mono Neon is a modern day Norwood Fisher (Fishbone). These guys are insanely talented. A mixture of Weather Report, Fishbone, Living Colour, Frank Zappa et al. Absolutely amazing!
Best snippet from a live concert I have EVER seen, holy hell
Walk past these cats with some Kryptonite in your pocket and watch 'em all pass out. This was fantastic !!!
Fragments of Prince "America" live version '86

Tenor player using some sort of octave doubler at 2:00?
Mono is a straight-up killer
The original was fast enough!
5:28 nice
Some skunk funk OMG
Some Skunk Funk! 160 bpm....
Tenor player using an octave doubler at 2:00?
