- Wandering in the direction of adventure rather than having a solid plan equals pure freedom. Maggie, Junie, Bill, Levi and myself make a great team. We go deep in the back country wilderness in search of spiritual solitude, fulfilling freedom and rejuvenating recreation. The goats help me carry enough gear to be prepared for most any weather situation as well as some camping comforts so I can cook delicious meals and enjoy classic camping traditions in the ambience of wood burning flames in my Firebox Stoves.

They were bottle fed from a young age and trained daily so they think I'm part of the herd and follow very well. It's great!

U build afire and drag hot coals to the did and always cook on the coals not the flame 🔥! And I still cook that way at camp. ! Just saying. ! Thanks 🙏 be blessed
Lately I've been enjoying cooking next to a flame using its radiant heat. There are a lot of ways to cook with a campfire it's fun to explore them all. Thanks for your input. I also love cooking over coals

I just realized how lucky i am to have a cattle guard on my property and it trained my goats to jump over them. I never see you get frustrated and i saw a touch of it pop up at that cattle guard 😅. Kudos to you handling it so well. I struggle to stay cool and calm in moments like that. Giats have helped me with that some.

What kind of goats are those two? Just did my first chicken in my 14cm Billy pot with the Firebox lid clips and Firebox 5"mk2. Turned out amazing!! Got my Firebox from Canadian Preparedness and my Billy pot from Canadian outdoor equipment, it came with the firebox lid clips already installed. Awesome gear!

Love your videos love watching the goats and dogs do your pack they seem to enjoy it very much I was wondering if you give any water to the goats while you're out camping I'm sure you do keep posting the videos and Joey watching them Jake McClellan the Oregon boy
I offer them water if none is available but they very rarely drink. Goats are a bit like camels in the fact that they get most of their moisture from what they eat and are able to go without water for a very long time.
It's a good thing Bill gave you your steak back... that would have been a big missed steak.... 😂
