I was there with my dad. The stadium was electric. My favorite sports memory to this day.
I was there too. The crowd was loud as hell that day. This game is the reason why I believe that if the Jets were ever to get the number 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, then they would finally reach their 2nd Super Bowl appearance. The Jets fans would be too much for any visiting team to overcome. This fan base has waited too long and would be delirious in such a setting.

Interesting to think, parcels was the jets coach who had already won a Super Bowl with giants Vs coughlin who then won a Super Bowl with the giants

Vikings choked to a slightly above average Falcons team.

I didnt realize the jets had nearly given this game way.. watched the 1998 team yearbook like 900 times and saw it was a close finish but man
Props to the NY Jets defense for beating the Jags. Jags offense was loaded Brunnel, Taylor, McCardell and Smith with Pro Bowl players.
