    • @MGAF688
      @MGAF688 Před 2 lety +1

      Elway is not liked in Baltimore, Cleveland, Kansas City, Houston or Pittsburgh either. All of these teams took multiple lumps in big games especially in the playoffs. Elway may not have been perfect in Super Bowls. But in the AFC playoffs, he was 12-4 including 9-2 at home (the 2 losses being by 7 to Pit and 3 to Jac). He also pulled off 3 big road upset wins against Cle, KC, and Pit while only losing 2 times on the road (both losses were competitive (Buf and LAR)).

      @@MGAF688 he had more super bowl appearances than afc playoff losses which is absurd especially when you think of how average those first 3 super bowl appearance teams were.

    Man 1998 the Jets finally got the spark going with Parcells. Espically with Testaverde Keyshawn Johnson Wayne " Mr.3rd Down" Chrebet ,And the addition of Curtis Martin, Mo Lewis Aaron Glenn,Bryan Cox. 7:27 Steve Marcucci said " Those Jets uniforms are beautiful ,waiting for Joe Namath to come out the Locker room" lol. Can't forget Glenn Foley 😊😊😊

    1982, 1998, 2009, 2010. The Jets went to Miami, Denver, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh. But each time they came away empty even though they led or were tied in the 2nd half in 3 of the games and within 5 against Pittsburgh late. Jets 0-0 in the 3rd quarter vs Miami. Jets 10-0 in the 3rd quarter vs Denver. Jets 17-6 late in the 2nd quarter and 17-13 in the 3rd quarter vs Indianapolis. Jets 19-24 in the 4th quarter vs Pittsburgh. The Jets also had a great chance vs Cleveland in 1986 being up 20-10 with just a few minutes to go.

    Denver didn't take the AFC Championship game seriously until the 2nd half. You think they would have learned from their worst defeat in franchise history loss to the Jagwads in Jan '97. Brutal, unacceptable complacency falls on the shoulders of Mike Shanahan. He's lucky that '98 Broncos team was among the greatest in NFL history.

    That team was 0-3 without Testeverde. Losing to a bad Rams and Ravens team. At 14-2, assuming Testeverde wins both games who owns the tie breaker with 14 wins a piece.
