- This is a PARODY concept trailer I made inspired by FX's Feud: Capote Vs The Swans. I do not own any footage used in this edit. I'm just a fan of Joan and Christina Crawford who wanted to make a fun video please don't hit me with a lawsuit I don't have any moneyđ€žââïžâșïžđ
God, I wish this was really going to air... So talented, Jonah! Keep 'em coming!
Wow!!!! You have such a gift for making these concept trailers. đ You could work for hollywood, being an editor, no kidding. I love this!
I love you so much for this... REPLAY FOREVER !!!!
Damn! I would watch the hell out of that.
I wonder if Christina watches these?
Love the Bea Arthur reference! đ
I had to pause to make sure I read it right.
I am loving this! While they parody to the point of believability, they are keeping memories alive.
Wonderful! Thank you!
And very well done, too, and certainly more insightful than "Capote and the Swans."
Interesting, though, how, while Drake Bell and other former child stars are being hailed as courageous heroes for "breaking their silence" about the sexual assault they allegedly suffered 25 years or more earlier, Christina Crawford is still called a liar for her own abuse allegations.
No concept trailers EVER! đđ
I enjoyed this.the footage of joan and christina was mostly in color.which i savored.both women are stunning.both fascinate me.joan was talented.christina is talented.
I cant think of Christina without thinking about the time she took Elvis cigar out of his mouth and prevented Joe Esposito from lighting it saying he shouldn't have to light his cigars, Elvis grabbed her up and led her out the door by the hair on her head and told Joe to take her home, get her out. Pretty audacious of her..why would she even begin to think that was an ok thing to do??
This is excellent. Iâd love to see it for real. Christinaâs account was decried and rubbished by her two sisters. It reads like an unhappily adopted daughter jealous of her mother wilfully exaggerating through a childâs eye pov the normal upbringing of the 1940s and 50s. Everybodyâs mother told you there was no dessert if you didnât eat your main course and it would be put in the fridge to be served again the next day. This was the discipline of the day and it was a threat that didnât actually happen. Children were smacked. They were sent to bed early. And so on. Christina misremembered it. She clearly had deference issues from her adoption. She wanted to be Joan Crawford but she didnât have enough talent to be a star and she lived in an age when those stars no longer existed. Crawford was a driven but decent woman, her co stars rated he4 and the young ones found her patient and helpful. TBH Iâm fed up of the modern practice of pulling down everyone after they are dead. They canât respond or defend themselves.
My side is on Joan but I'm not sure which side u are on?
Their username literally tells us that they love Joan, so I think that they can see both sides without hating one or the other. In any case, they definitely love Joan.
Why do you care? Too each his own.
Wow that was brilliant, thank you
I always felt a "coldness" about Joan Crawford, even before Mommie Dearest. I always enjoyed her performances, though.

This won't happen unfortunately but it would be such a hit. A laugh riot if done correctly!
Now donât be dissing our Joan!
I met a couple on a Hawaii cruise who were friends with Christina. Of course, I quizzed them about her. This is what he said verbatim: "Having known Christina for 25 years, I can see why someone would want to whack her." :-) Great parody trailer! Masterful scenes, cuts, etc. Thank you! :-)
