- Michael Jai White stopped by VladTV for yet another interview, and this time around he opened up about working on Blood and Bone with Kimbo Slice. He detailed how he helped the late MMA fighter learn how to fight on film, and how Kimbo's death really affected him. Michael also spoke about being Oprah's bodyguard, working on Kill Bill, playing Mike Tyson, and knowing Cuba Gooding Jr. To hear more, including talking about fake Shaolin monks, hit the above video.

Thanks for this interview Vlad. Micheal Jai White has became one of my favorite person of all time. He is awesome and so humble and honest. He is a true role model.
“Don’t be scared of me”
* couple of minutes later talks about knocking people out on accident 😂😂
Isreal Gordon 🤣🤣
I was dying laughing!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
And then he "tipped out" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Way to take it out of context
Is in him don't forget you can't change a tiger to cat even they family 😁🤣😁😂where he come Frome was a tough place not long time ago.
He's the definition of black excellence
hometownhero334 let's just go with excellence. We need more like him no matter the race. The world needs more REAL Ass Dudes/Chicks
@@michaeldonahue8997 Well, I could argue because he is a never was been. And that's true. However, he has always been an angry black man with no real talent. He is not attractive. He can't act. He has no charm. He should get out of acting and give speeches about staying to true to yourself and integrity.
@@michaeldonahue8997 isn't it more obvious if you think it's beneath him he did it for Vlad not for himself
🤣🤣🤣🤣yeah ok
@@joshhorn5131 Young black men need someone who looks like them to aspire to be. It's that simple.
He’s so good in interviews. Please come on Joe Rogan!
Them two bantering about fighting would make for a fantastic interview.
no he needs to be on HOTBOXIN with mike tyson
@@jaychris6636 Both.
Man that could've been interpreted so wrong 😂😂 but I agree that would be great
Skrait up
Great interview, real men from a real place and talking about real life. And I thank you.
I didn’t realize he was so accomplished 👏🏽 proud of him
49:57 "Michael Jai White explains Ultra Instinct"
*Goku enters the chat*
This man is saying OUT loud what is inside and Everything nobody wants to say or can't say for whatever reason. Living as a black man in America is so much more complex than i thought it was when i was in my 20's. I'm only 37 but i still have so much to learn. Every day
,dv
Dude seems like such a stand-up guy. Mad respect for him.
You for real?
@@davidstewart7298 wat... 👀 did I do something wrong?
I think this interview could have went so much better if Vlad would have let Jai White talk about his experiences . Like when he was talking about Rick James , Vlad was constantly talking about the book he read . When Jai White wanted to talk about the friend he knew . Not A Book ! Which is Entertainment , not necessarily truth . Which we all could read . But hearing from 1st hand accounts of a friend , is priceless ...
Hes an amazing talker and interviewer for real!! They dont get realer than Michael Jai White!
Vlad always over talking his own guest 😫😫 When will it end??
when you stop watching
@@friendly1870 lol
For some strange reason, I wanna see him in expendables, that would be epic asf.
Omg every since the first one I said he should have had the role Terry Crews had he fit it much better.
I was just thinking that!
Southern Black Hippy exactly, that would’ve made perfect sense. But then again;his martial arts skills would’ve probably overshadowed jason statham’s 🤷🏾♂️
@@marromorrison I actually think they would've complimented each other perfectly. Michael has acted in several films with other talented martial artists. I think the dynamic between Jason and Michael would've been comedic but still great action. But since Terry is the ass kisser to the higher ups he's handed the role with no memorable if any prior action roles.
Noo shyt!!
My inspiration! Thank you VLADTV
Vlad you know Mike so how about telling him he should do BLOOD AND BONE 2! That character is great and should be ongoing, especially the way the first one ended. It's tailor made for sequels, so please just let him know that there are plenty fans that would love another one!
This was one of the few interviews that I did not want to end. Very interesting, very intelligent subject. This was good.
I'm watching the old Ninja Turtles with the one with vanilla ice in it never knew Michael Jai White was in there as an extra
Go ninja, go ninja, GO!
wow that just clicked for me lol. Crazy
One of my favorite actors!!! He’s perfect for a good action role 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I feel the same. I was hoping he would get the role for the new Blade movie but they went with somebody else who is also a good actor in his one right. I wish Michael would get more roles in films
Love the interview
Van Damme was on the Belgian karate team on fought competitively. So he was a professional fighter, but by the time Michael met him, it was more than a decade ago, so he might not have been as sharp.
Michael Jai White's Kung Fu voice was spot on.
That's called overtraining where your muscle reflexes become so profoundly instinctive that they become self-conscious under their own volition. This is what happens when you achieve a higher level state of martial arts.
Can you elaborate.?
That Benny the Jet wilson fight scene with Jackie Chan was my favorite fight scene of all time. I got hype when he said that shit!
I still come back to these interviews i binged watched all ofem
Blood and bone one of my favorite martial art movie
Blood & Bone is my favorite MJW movie. It reminds me of the show Kung fu with David Carradine. Where a mysterious hero comes into town, solves a problem using kung fu then leaves walking into the sunset.
Ya boy "tipped out" again!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Why wasnt he in expendables? Very interesting insight into the life of, and i would purchace the book when he decides to write one.
The coolest & most well-balanced black actor, next to Sam & Denzel
Great interview! ✌️
Vlad: So would you say that your famous?
Michael: I have some fame for sure.
Vlad: Right, you know I was on boondocks so I know how that feels.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 A lot of shit VALD says Is ridiculous and stupid. I give him props on getting all these actors and artist doing interviews. But he needs to do more research/ facts and educate himself about his guests.
😂😂😂
Sometimes hes just spitting random facts, and you can see MJW say yeah
@@nemospodcast6766 😂😂😂😂😂
This is my favorite interview next to Mob James.
I have immense respect for Michael Jai White. Strive to be like him. I especially admired when he touched the n-word subject in detail, leaving no stone unturned.
Kimbo Slice's death was because of heart failure and a mass on the liver. It wasn't drugs, I hope they followed up.
MJW's face when Vlad says JCVD was a real fighter and one of the best to transition to the fight game... Priceless!!!
Just came across Triple Threat another good one. Thanks
Great interview 👍💎🤘
Don't get me wrong michael jai white is one of the great martial artist, i have a great respect of his skills and athleticism and power.
I am love this brutha he is 100 percent real and honest in his thinking
Great attitude don't know a lot about him but if he was a street dude at one point and a fighter he's really evolved that's for sure. he doesn't seem like the typical Street kind of guy . really good attitude and speak well
Miccheal u r blessed n u know this i love yor work in a class by yorself keep banging
Mike telling Vlad his personal experiences with Rick James and Vlad cuts him off to tell him "I read his book" and goes on to tell him what he read about. Come on this man knew him shut up and let him speak dude always interjecting his self in a story some way
He gets cut off on some good stuff!!! Even on the last video!!!!
I peep that too .. .he don't do it more than queens FLIP and how Angela Lee did it when 50 cent just was there ..that was crazy ...#VLAD still champ
Vlad ,He wanna be that star....he a little boy , saying, Guess what, guess what ....still..gets ignored. So now....
Michael Jai White "you go back much further than South Carolina". We need you. Djvlad, thanks for this voice. Wouldn't know nothing about him other than him being one of my favorite action stars and that would have been ok. This better.
I've been watching Michael Jai White for a long time yes he can kick your ass, but he can also make you laugh and think
The sink is off when he was talking about his martial art reflexes!
"I'm going to hell" got me weak
Went to the same high school with him I think he trained with Eddie I also trained with Eddie I vaguely remember him training next to the football and baseball field
One of my favorite actors
He's a very intelligent well spoken great actor and a bad ass and he's real he never let his success go to his head celebrities could take a lesson from him
I'm here from Ranton video on telling him to stop 😂
Ranton is a mindless shaolin sycophant. Michael is telling the truth. Your entire world is fake and thats why its falling apart right now.

@buttslammer mcgee if you learned how to use youtube properly i would have laughed at you sooner 😂. ranton wasted his money to go stay at a fake place thats why his butt was so hurt when michael told the facts. 😊
I like that he gives us a pretty close insiders insight on people and their REAL abilities and weakness's.. and just does it matter of factly n doesnt bitch bout people while doing it.
I see the new “Black Panther” Star right here, and he got the gap teeth too...🤗🤯🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I just watched undercover brother II yesterday i liked it hope he makes a 3rd
love your interviews....you've got an error with video and sound not matching at 53:12 to 53:34
58:46 to 59:10
I love me some Michael Jai White
He Should write a autobiography !
Yoooooo 1:36:30, the impression was on point💯👌🏽
He was trying to control his laughter when VLAD said he NEVER said the word. Maybe it was by accident VLAD said the word a long time ago.
VLAD said that he never said it in anger.
Damn at 1:06:30 he rocked the Kung Fu talk 😂
😯
yooo i honestly hope Tarantino could direct or produce a movie for the brotha. i could only imagine how much more dope black dynamite woulda been with him in on the project.
I doubt tarantino would have been as good at directing black dynamite as scott sanders.
i'm not taking anything away from tarantino(even though i think he is a bit overrated), he is a good director.
IMO Black Dynamite was as close to perfect(for what it was supposed to be) as humanly possible.
Michael- knocks jogger TFO...*que Peter Griffin* "Whelp, bout time i hit the Ol' dusty trail"
Michael- tip-toes off into the sunset
😂😂😂😂
Almost 3 Hours interview, sick
Rick James was in the movie Life? Damn I never noticed that.
the humble and helpful guy who learnt the ropes a step at a time till his right on the top. Now, he doesn't have to prove being a tough guy, but instead like Arnold, offers advice as a professional veteran. That's a lot for us amateurs, thanks.
John Witherspoon did NOT play "pops", he played "granddad". I thought Vlad said he was on the show and a "huge fan"...that's day one knowledge!
He did play Pops in the Wayans Bros, dude prbly got it mixed up
Kimbo died from a heart condition wtf is vlad talking about it was drug related!!
Was the heart condition exacerbated exponentially by past drug use in his early years? This would still make drug abuse a contributing factor to death, aka a cause.
this man say that his reflexes is so fast that sometimes he cant consciously control them. THIS NIGGA GOT ULTRA INSTINCT 😂😂😂😂😂
Marvel should contact this Micheal J play Bishop on the X-Men reboot he would be the perfect character.
I love this man
Legend has it Michael Jai once punched an Ostridge with a body shot and it exploded, it's head is still in the ground.
All jokes aside, great interview!
great interview
He beating people up that ain't expecting to catch a ass whooping
32:30 ish... You gotta understand people know lots of smart people, but there aren't many people that are known to be able to fight to the level you can. You can't feel a way for someone wanting to know more about that.
I had no idea Michael Jai White was so interesting.
mike's the man
Please vlad start a poll on who wants to see this man play BLUE MARVEL in the MCU. Please sir.
First in parts and now the whole interview...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ain't that how every single interview is posted? Segment, segment, segment, segment, full show.
For the record, he died on congestive heart failure and liver mass and was scheduled to go to a Cleveland medical Center to wait for a compatible donor to replace his heart...medical not drugs, autopsy report reveals no traces of drugs except the prescription prescribed by doctors for his condition
Who?

Thank you very much and God bless Glow I'm not taking a blame for grandma or Grandpa they know what they're doing
That's deep what he said about Mike
That movie was funny as hell where is part 2
Definitely one of my favorite actor/ ass kicker
Ok so his definition of "fighter" is pro fighting. But he can fight/defend himself in the street, so could Bruce Lee. Ring fighting and street fighting are just different. No rules in a street fight. I'd call Jai White and Bruce Lee fighters. Not ring fighters, but actual self defense fighters.
Bruce was an actor. He might have been a bad ass actual fighter if given the chance but bruce never really had a FIGHT fight.
@@kareemmcknight1078 Not true. He got into fights in Hong Kong when he was young, trained with people who could fight, and was challenged many times in the US. He was able to convey impact on screen because he knew fighting in real life.
@@kareemmcknight1078 All the martial artists who worked with Bruce improved their skill, and all of them say that he was a fighter. Jackie Chan said "we all knew how to fight - Bruce knew how to put it on screen". That "we" in his statement included Bruce Lee. If you claim that Bruce couldn't fight, then you make him fake. The man could fight, and you can see it online.
That Benny The Jet fight vs Jackie Chan is fucking legendary
DC should have cast this man as John Stewart GL over bronze tiger which who a much smaller scale character in compared to GL
1:41:09 how do you spell the fighting style?
Yea.....Brotha Michael Jai White....I know, that he's an amazing Brotha, "Bruce Lee" Martial Arts pro fighter, but, I always when I see him, I think about the Tyler Perry Movies😅😃😎🤔😉✊
Michael Jai White was actually CORRECT in saying that his people are from the land misnomered "South Carolina" because he's indigenous to America, but doesn't, or didn't at the time, realize it.
Pale-skinned Europeans did NOT have the power to bring over millions of Africans to America when they just got free from under us on July 4th, 1776, which they celebrate every year as "Independence Day!"
Britain was ruled by dark-skinned Moors at that time. Dark-skinned people still ruled the entire earth until the 1800's, when our empires and kingdoms began to crumble completely due to our own corruption!
I love all people, which is why I tell the truth about everyone's history, which is the REVERSE of what is taught in the U.S. Corporation Department of Education indoctrination centers.
PEACE and LOVE, everyone! 👍🏾✊🏾🇲🇦🔯
And have Eddie bravo too that would be a great podcast
Michael Jai bringing back that Sisqo Dragon Line lol good interview💯

Damn he like a T.k Kirkland. he been around in ever movie and seen letterman doing stand -up damn you would not think he's that old but he is.
Did anyone notice Vlad tried to get him to implicate himself on something that does not have a statute of limitations. Very slick with it...but it didn't work.
