- In his full interview with VladTV, actor Michael Jai White reflects on a number of chapters throughout his life, including his experience in martial arts where he obtained 8 belts over his lifetime in the sport. Additionally, he recalls being in 12 shootouts while having been shot twice during his life in the streets, prior to becoming a successful entertainer having acted in films such as "Spawn," "Exit Wounds," Kill Bill: Vol 2," and "The Dark Knight" in addition to many more. Furthermore, he also touches on recently becoming an honorary chief in Ghana, while revealing that he's set to star in the sequel to "Undercover Brother."

The most realistic thing he said "The street world is addicting" so tru.. a lot of times when u mature, u feel like ur life is less exciting because ur not as wild anymore.. ur not risking anything.. u have good routines and patterns.. sometimes u miss the hood, the ghetto, and the streets, cuz u use to feel so alive.. but, just remember.. u can always keep ur freedom doing things the right way.

The Toxic Avenger: The Monster Hero, is a 80's classic. One of my favorites, Michael Jai White was in the sequel. He had a small role in the film, his character was a goon. I remember very well. He's been in the acting hustle a long time. I take my hat off to Michael 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿... Tyson was a great film & Spawn 👍🏿.

This man is incredible. I became an instant fan while watching Blood & Bone, but never knew much about him. It's so nice to see a long form interview where you get to hear about their up bringing & get a sense of their personality.

I agree with everything he says, I was born in LES Manhattan , grew up in Lanc city, Pa. Lanc city is full of ppl who are from Jersey, NYC, philly, Connecticut, everywhere. I grew up in a single parent home just my moms and bro, growing up in the hood and in the struggle does give you PTSD like a mutha fucka. I'm 32 engaged, have my own house in our name and still have that hood in me

Hes one of my top 3 favorite martial artists but of the 3 hes my favorite over all people. Hes an amazing example of the human spirit and exactly how every man should be in general. His type of masculinity is the type that nurtures but at the same time doesnt put up with any kind of bullshit. Hes one of my absolute favorite people ever and I'd be honored if I ever got the chance to meet him.
