okay, you just answered the curious question i had in my brain about cork. i wondered about cork, and i never sewn with it. i have a measley Singer 4411HD (i'm not ready to play with you Juki girls yet! lol!) and i don't know if my machine could handle cork.

YAY My state!! I live an hour away from charleston
I only sew with cork and I use a Brother 1350. I keep stabilizer out of the seam allowances. 8 layers is too much but that many layers is rare.
