He had a microphone in the first movie as he was a stand up comedian. Harley is still a psychiatrist in this version. The trailer isn't going to give away all the plot! The musical numbers are their hallucinations. Gaga's voice is closer to what Harley's should be, as Harley is supposed to be from NYC/Gotham and Gaga is NYC born and raised, whereas Margot just used the same fake Los Angeles accent she uses for every role.
