Regarding engine temperature during valve adjustment, IH specifies "warm" as "stabilized at ambient temperature above 45 degrees Fahrenheit".

Those engines aren't too finicky.
Those little 3 cylinders are easy to work on, nice engines. Not a powerhouse but will do a lot of chores on not much fuel.

Do you know in witch place 1:a cylinder is? In the front or back
Number one cylinder should be front of engine

is it possible to remove the oil pan without splitting the tractor?
I have Ihc 353. You don't know what type of injection pump is in these engines? Make, model, name whatever.
