I feel the younger generation likes the 2024 models while 30 plus generation is leaning towards the 2015-2023 models. Again congrats on grabbing the LAST ONE! I fell in love with the 69 boss 302 and then 429, 70 mach 1 then those led me to the earlier 67 fastback from there I began to get into all the makes and models of muscle and ponies. 69 charger, 68 gto, 69 camaro and chevelle 70 challenger 71 barracuda…the list just goes on and on but I never strayed away from the mustang, mustang was and has always been my number 1..proud owner of ‘19 GT…im really glad the mustang will be the last one left, good for ford even though I don’t like the change im still glad they were the last ones to put a real engine in their muscle/pony car
What was thoughts on the 94 to 2004 body style? I personally think that was the ugliest generation. Looks like the old school Ford Taurus my parents use to have.
Agree with you 100%. 2018 refresh made the front so ugly and soft. Just love how the front end looks so aggressive on the 2024. Looking forward to getting one next year.

Thanks, but I've had it with Stellantis and the new Dark Horse takes the Mustang to the next level from it's aggressive exterior design. New high tech interior and it's new Gen 4 500 horsepower NA Coyote. It would have been easy to drop the Mustang considering how poorly the S550 was selling in recent years. After seeing the new S650. I think the sales numbers will increase bringing it back to it's popularity after 2017 and the introduction of the S550. The other opportunity for increased sales in from Ford performance and the new S650 GT3 race carand Ford performance and Multimatic teaming up to field the GT3 in IMSA and races including LeMans and the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Just seeing Ford performance GT3 testing ar Sebring has turned my interest toward the new Dark Horse. I am also looking forward to the new NHRA X-Class 2024 Mustang

The extra HP is awesome but perhaps I should move along and check out a Shelby ;). I watched a video about the electric hand brake which looks pretty slick for the track. I tend to agree with you but in spite of that I ordered a 2024 but I'm only leasing for 2 years . What I really want was a manual transmission so the Mustang was it (Porsche's too much $$). I looked for months for a 2023 model but couldn't find one that appealed to me.

Just saw this video but 2 months ago I traded my 17 GT I bought used for a brand new 23 as I knew it my last chance to buy one new in the spec I wanted. Took my spec list in the the dealer near me with the most Mustangs and they had a perfect one right out front for me. 301a performance pack with manga ride and 6 speed with 3 pedals and the plane inspired gauges . I was tempted to get race red again but Dark matter metallic grey won me over on the re freshed front end. Car is already making 455 rwhp with mods and a tune while I save for a vmp loki kit. Already making more than a dark horse to the wheel and for just over half the price I have afford a new engine with a tremec down the road . ( I know the dark horse would kill me around a track but I don't race)

I’m thinking about perhaps a similar 2025 S650. I have seen one in person - the jury is still out. Not crazy about the new dash. Happy Motoring 🤠

I agree with what you said in the video, after this new generation (2024 models) comes to an end, it will unfortunately be the end of V8's. Terrible thing to have to come to grips with. I would have to imagine that by 2030, It will either be gone or it will be in it's last production year. It would only make sense with the direction that the rest of the industry is heading towards. Fantastic vid! I agree with everything! I am blessed enough to have been able to keep and modify my high school car (since 1978 I was 18)and I still drive it and show it. (I have a You Tube channel) I love the S550 Mustang and have an S650 GT on order (not 100% in love with all the changes tho for many of the reasons you mentioned). I’m 62 and this will be the last time I buy and own a new American Muscle Car / icon. I hate the direction (high tech EV) that the auto industry has been forced to move in but am grateful that for a few years to come, I will be able to love and fall in love with my new Mustang and make more of those wonderful car memories…to add to the 45 years of memories I have with my GTO. Thank you for a thought provoking and wonderfully reflective video. 👍🇺🇸

I'm in my late 30s, had a 87 5.0 Mustang in highschool and since had quite a few performance cars. Recently though, I had a boring practical car and I knew I wanted to get back into a Mustang. The 2024 was revealed and I immediately knew I had to have one of the current ones, the new one is not so great looking though, I think with time they can refine it to look great. For example, the first few first gens are ugly as sin but eventually after some tweeks ended up looking handsome. What really drove me away was the iPad for a gauge cluster and the HVAC controls in the touch screen. Why god would they do that. Ended up finding a 22 GT Premium that was loaded outside the Performance Pack. Took forever to find that to be honest. The pickings are kinda slim if you're looking for a specific color.
Well said Fahrenheit38! The 22 is where it is at but hey I'm not bias at all ;). Congrats on your 22 GT find. AND yes its a tough market out there, I was lucky that a late 22 that was being delivered to my dealer with the exact colour and specs that I wanted. We will see where the 2024 goes from here but as I believe it will be the true V8 muscle car generation so regardless I hope they get it right in the end. Who knows, perhaps our 22s will become collector items too :) Side note, thanks for the sub! Lots more to come!

But let me tell you about the mustang past. 2015 -2023 Doesn't look like the 1965 Ford Mustang model. 2015-2023 isn't my favorite Model mustang. 2010-2012 i really didn't like that mustang model year The 2013 - 2014 Ford mustang Look really awesome of the body styles. 2005 - 2009 Ford mustang GT look nice That looked like the 1965 Ford mustang body style. I was born in the early 90s My Ultra favorite Ford mustang model Was the 1994-2004 Those ford Mustang model year was really cool They were my favorite of all time. I personally like the 2024s Ford mustang GT. I really don't care for the big touch screen. I'll have to get use too it. But I really like the Twin Active exhaust it sounds really amazing. I also really like the Twin air intake. The mustang V8 are on it's last leg. I am truly going to be supporting the ford mustang Because they are now going to be the only one that carries the V8 engine's. I am really hoping too get the 2024 Ford mustang GT

I was in high school in the 90s and a lot of friends were driving the 94s. To be honest, that wasn't my favourite year. My favourtie, favourite is the 1967 year. The curves on it were perfect! That same detail from the 60s is still being incorporated into the 7th gen. You bagging on ford because you don’t like the 2024 is crazy. You should be happy they are continuing the ICE with the 5.0. Thank you for the thoughts Richarddodd! I get it, we live in a world of change, every year manufactures / companies have to push out something new to keep the audiences attention. To be fair I haven't seen the 2024 in the flesh yet but from what I have seen online I am just not a fan. I find it is a 50/50 split for people who I talk to and watch this video; either people like it or hate it. My local Ford has a 2024 on order and should be here soon. When it arrives I definitely want to check it out. In the end I think my heart is still with my 2022. I appreciate that Ford continues to push the horsepower with the new 2024 model. @@LifeOfaMatt the only reason I came of harsh is because it seemed like it was a doomsday video that we will move away from the IcE. Which we will, but Ford seems to be actually listening to their consumer base unlike Mercedes has been. Screens are in, and ford is in the business of selling cars to everyone. I’d say most people 20-35 like the tech. My favorite is the fact we can get a NA V8 for under 50k still and that ford is trying to keep it alive for as long as possible. We have Come full circle when everyone hated the 2015 model, and now it is a lot of people favorite rightfully so. Let’s give the 7G a chance here! I had a rental last week (new ford edge) which had a massive screen to it and yeah, no thank you. I will stick with my simple but functional display.
Why i own 2 SN95s, a 2000 New edge and a 1998 GT, older cars just feel more raw to me

(I have a You Tube channel) I love the S550 Mustang and have an S650 GT on order (not 100% in love with all the changes tho for many of the reasons you mentioned). I’m 62 and this will be the last time I buy and own a new American Muscle Car / icon. I hate the direction (high tech EV) that the auto industry has been forced to move in but am grateful that for a few years to come, I will be able to love and fall in love with my new Mustang and make more of those wonderful car memories…to add to the 45 years of memories I have with my GTO. I'm in my late 30s, had a 87 5.0 Mustang in highschool and since had quite a few performance cars. Recently though, I had a boring practical car and I knew I wanted to get back into a Mustang. The 2024 was revealed and I immediately knew I had to have one of the current ones, the new one is not so great looking though, I think with time they can refine it to look great. For example, the first few first gens are ugly as sin but eventually after some tweeks ended up looking handsome. What really drove me away was the iPad for a gauge cluster and the HVAC controls in the touch screen. Why god would they do that. Ended up finding a 22 GT Premium that was loaded outside the Performance Pack. Took forever to find that to be honest. The pickings are kinda slim if you're looking for a specific color.
Well said Fahrenheit38! The 22 is where it is at but hey I'm not bias at all ;). Congrats on your 22 GT find. AND yes its a tough market out there, I was lucky that a late 22 that was being delivered to my dealer with the exact colour and specs that I wanted. We will see where the 2024 goes from here but as I believe it will be the true V8 muscle car generation so regardless I hope they get it right in the end. Who knows, perhaps our 22s will become collector items too :)

They were my favorite of all time.
I personally like the 2024s Ford mustang GT. I really don't care for the big touch screen.

But I really like the Twin Active exhaust it sounds really amazing.
I also really like the Twin air intake.
The mustang V8 are on it's last leg.
I am truly going to be supporting the ford mustang
Because they are now going to be the only one that carries the V8 engine's.

I was in high school in the 90s and a lot of friends were driving the 94s. To be honest, that wasn't my favourite year. My favourtie, favourite is the 1967 year. The curves on it were perfect!

That same detail from the 60s is still being incorporated into the 7th gen. You bagging on ford because you don’t like the 2024 is crazy. You should be happy they are continuing the ICE with the 5.0.

Thank you for the thoughts Richarddodd! I get it, we live in a world of change, every year manufactures / companies have to push out something new to keep the audiences attention. To be fair I haven't seen the 2024 in the flesh yet but from what I have seen online I am just not a fan. I find it is a 50/50 split for people who I talk to and watch this video; either people like it or hate it. My local Ford has a 2024 on order and should be here soon. When it arrives I definitely want to check it out. In the end I think my heart is still with my 2022. I appreciate that Ford continues to push the horsepower with the new 2024 model.

@@LifeOfaMatt the only reason I came of harsh is because it seemed like it was a doomsday video that we will move away from the IcE. Which we will, but Ford seems to be actually listening to their consumer base unlike Mercedes has been. Screens are in, and ford is in the business of selling cars to everyone. I’d say most people 20-35 like the tech.

I hear you about the screens, they are popping up everywhere, it is what sells! Work just got a Rivian and wow, the tech in it is very cool! I guess I am just old school with this as it is what I grew up with in high school, my glory days lol. Your right about Ford pushing the V8 for as long as possible which I do appreciate!
