I can't believe he beat him like that. It seemed very easy for him I am shocked. This fight was very one sided. No point in a rematch in my honest opinion but for the check I would rematch and add that uppercut into the second match
I also see it as necessary and I don't think it will change much in the Beterbiev Vs Bivol Rematch, it is the fight that all Boxing fans want

Whats crazier, and this is just MY opinion, but Bivol seemed to hold back and did not seem to be fighting at his usual full capacity, literally looked like he was just at 50%. I say this bc I’ve followed him for a few years now. For context, check out his other fights. Even his past opponents seemed to have given him a better fight than how canelo performed here. Id even put money that pascal would give canelo a run for his money.
But going back, if what my eyes were seeing was real, and weren’t playing tricks on me, I would guess that Bivol fought this way FOR a reason. To not fully show his full potential, in anticipation for a rematch. And when or IF that should happen, I see Bivol going full throttle to completely obliterate canelo and even potentially end it much earlier. Bivol here was roughly around 184-185 lbs according to him. If they rematch at 168, that puts him a bit lighter but still shouldnt take away from his usual performance, if anything he would be much more agile, more speed and quicker darting in and out throwing his combos.

@@deanthiessen7306 I know, but IF canelo WANTED to pursue his rematch lol(and there aint no way he’s ever going to win) whether at 175 or 168 for all his belts on the line, I do not see canelo winning. And my post theorized that, Bivol wasn’t fighting at his usual tempo nor full potential for a reason. That if in fact a rematch were to happen, then it’ll throw canelo off if he were to see a completely different version of Bivol, should Bivol actually engage in full throttle, to which I firmly believe he will. Any other followers of Bivol can easily spot that he really was not fighting at all at his usual pace. But even at that, managed to outbox and clean canelo off rather easily. Was practically in 6th gear all night with some alight downshifts to 4th-5th, but never in first.

Pero aún así, me sorprende canelo porque bivol no pudo noquearlo, mucho menos lastimarlo…a pesar de las ventajas que tenía sobre canelo… el box es interesante y las divisiones de peso existen por algo

Parece como si los entrenadores ya no quisieran enseñarlo como en las décadas de los 70 y 80. He did go to light heavy weight before, with Sergey, it's not like this was his first time at that weight

Que paliza se llevó el Canelo, eso debió ser decisión unánime para Dimitry Bivol. Estuvieron a punto de hacerle a Bivol lo mismo que a GGG en la primera pelea contra Canelo, la cual dieron empate cuando ganó GGG. Aquí como era más evidente que Canelo Perdió dieron decisión dividida (Lo cual no fue ni de lejos). Bivol no debe pelear más con Canelo, porque le pueden hacer un robo en la próxima si no logra noquear al Canelo.

This fight shows that canelo’s boxing is not really good, its too plain, kinda boring, he can’t even do the textbook boxing, he made his ownstyle but it’s really bad, i can compliment for his toughness only but the rest it’s just bad. Like bivol said in interview after the fight, bivol respected and gave canelo a face by only saying “he only throws big shots that’s why he get exhausted and not throwing a jab” it’s almost bivol saying that he got the belt so easily by just doing a simple text book style on canelo, canelo has bad defense his toughness is the only thing that makes him continue the fight, his flat footed, like bivol said he’s only throwing huge swings, it’s like a refined street brawl. For short he was outboxed through out the night. Even tho canelo tries to rematch bivol, he can never beat him.
