    Hi. And thanks for that information. I hope you still around. My stereo (which is the same as te one on the video) is not working from the RCA connections. Does that has to do with the Sub Woofer settings?

      What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? If you are using the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB or a similar receiver, when on the USB source, you can change folders on a USB drive by pressing radio station preset buttons 1 and 2. @pioneerelectronics  Před 2 lety

      As of 2022 June, the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB is Pioneer's entry level CD receiver. You have a fader and a balance control, and a subwoofer output level control. There is no individual speaker output control on the DEH-S1200UB.
      You can download the owner's manual for this product directly from Pioneer here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/DEH-S1200UB_OperationManual102620.pdf
      If you are looking for more advanced features like individual speaker level controls and, independent crossover and slope controls please consider a more advanced Pioneer receiver like the DEH-S6200BS seen here: czcams.com/video/0UgoK9v_KcM/video.html
      or the Pioneer DMH-WT7600NEX seen here: czcams.com/video/O9yXjfuZPtM/video.html

    Hi I cannot get a sound when direct SW connection even though ive turned on SW to rear in the settings , Pioneer DEH-X8700BH

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  Před 3 lety

      It is possible to operate a small subwoofer on the rear speaker output directly from a Pioneer in-dash receiver. Please note: This is a connection to the rear speaker outputs and not the RCA outputs. I recognize model numbers DEH-X8700BS and DEH-X8700BH.
      Please be sure to check the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver. The instructions below are for the two models shown above. You should be connecting the receiver's Purple, and Purple/Black speaker output wires directly to a small subwoofer. The Green and Green/Black should be properly terminated so they don't come in contact with any other wires or metal in the vehicle. Owner's manual page 21. You can learn more about wiring your receiver in this Pioneer How To video: czcams.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/video.html In the receiver's Initial Setup S/W Control settings choose SP:SW. This will mean the front speaker outputs are full range and the rear speaker output is subwoofer. When using this setting, No Fader Control will be available. This is normal operation. This is because you choose to change the system from Front/Rear output to the new setting of Front and Subwoofer output. The subwoofer output has an independent level control. In the Audio Settings Menu, be sure to switch the Subwoofer 1 setting to Normal or Reverse. Owner's manual page 19. And in Subwoofer 2 choose an LPF crossover setting. I recommend to start with 80Hz and an output level of 0. You can find the owner's manual for the Pioneer DEH-X8700BS / DEH-X8700BH here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Car/DEH-X8700BS_OwnersManual090914.pdf You can find more videos on Pioneer's CZcams Channel here: czcams.com/users/pioneerelectronics

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  Před 3 lety

      I'll need more information to give you a complete answer. Do you have front and rear door speakers? Are the front and rear door speakers hooked up directly to the in-dash receiver front and rear speaker outputs? Is the subwoofer connected to the receiver's RCA outputs? If you have the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB with the front and rear speakers connected directly to the receiver and a subwoofer running from the RCA outputs, you'll need to adjust the receiver's Initial Setup SP/PO Mode set to REAR/SUB.W You can learn more about it in this How To video from Pioneer: czcams.com/video/b6vYngDNuK4/video.html Next, if you have the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB, and you have the door speakers connected to the Front Speaker Outputs of the in-dash receiver, you'll need to switch on the HPF or High Pass Filter. You can see it in this Pioneer How To video: czcams.com/video/meEGlY_r-IE/video.html As a place to start, set the HPF to 80Hz and -12 dB per octave slope. If you find you need to remove even more bass from the door speakers, change the HPF setting to 100Hz. An HPF or High Pass Filter only lets frequencies above the selected number to go to the door speakers. This is normal operation if you have the system setup with subwoofer output on the rear channel. It sounds like you have the receivers Initial Menu Speaker/Pre-out set to subwoofer. Please take a look at this video for information on how to change this output: czcams.com/video/b6vYngDNuK4/video.html If you want a fader option be sure to choose REAR/SUB W. in the initial menu. I recommend to take the face off the receiver and put it back in place. You can see it here: czcams.com/video/Z5S_IuTTWVQ/video.html
      If that does not correct this issue, you may have a loose installation wire. Focus on the Red, Yellow and Black wires.

      czcams.com/video/kR2MO2kwFug/video.html or possibly a failed fuse in the vehicle or a fuse in the back of the in-dash receiver.

    So no setting for the treble ?

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  Před 2 lety

      Modern Pioneer receivers don't have a bass and treble setting. There is a much more powerful sound shaping tool called a graphic equalizer. Don't be afraid of it. It's easy to use. On the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB, all 5 settings in the Equalizer are frequency adjustments. You can use them to make any given frequency a little louder or a little quieter as compared to other frequencies and without changing the volume of the other frequencies. The frequency adjustments are arranged like a piano keyboard with the low frequencies to the left and the high frequencies to the right. If you want more bass, I recommend the "SuperBass" preset. It will add a lot more bass into the music. If you want more treble, I recommend the "Natural" preset. It will roll off the bass, and add in more treble. If you are listening to a ball game or people talking, or an audio book, I recommend the "Vocal" Preset. You can see the presets in this How To video from Pioneer: czcams.com/video/ZXg6-tLuUhQ/video.html You can make your own adjustments too. Simply start with any EQ preset that sounds pretty good to you, and make your own adjustments from there. The 50, 80 and 125, frequency bands are typically the bass frequencies. 3.15k, 5k, 8k, and 12.5kHz are typically the treble frequencies. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? If you have a Pioneer DEH-S1200UB or similar model, I recommend to remove power from the receiver. For example, remove the negative battery terminal from the receiver for a minute or so, and then reconnect the negative battery terminal. When the receiver restarts, choose the language you want.
