Oh the sound of those massive engines revving up. Don't you just love our national carrier. Nice job!
oh yes of course! Qantas is amazing, I'm a proud foreign Qantas frequent flyer😂thanks for watching Alisha!
Love the engines, but not Qantas. A brand of misery
@@Robochop-vz3qm Sorry, no. They are good on helping you over particularly long flights, but nobody can shorten 22 hours in the air.
It’s really amazing how quiet and smooth this massive aircraft is. Usually takeoffs, even on wide body’s, are very noisy and bumpy. The A380 just kind of gently lifts into the sky.
Now that almost every airline is grounding or retiring these lovely planes...I am glad I have flown them just like when I was much younger the iconic 747s...which I will always love!
I'm a proud uncle as I took my now 7 year old nephew on a Cathay 747 in 2014 when he was 1 and a half years old! His first and probably last 747 flight
Wow awesome !
OMG I was on that flight!! Smooth as the proverbial baby’s backside from what I remember too. Although I was seated on the other side of the aircraft. Thanks for the memory!!! :)
Wow this exact flight with me? I’m glad you found this video :)
The best view in an A380.Spectacular video
Thanks for watching! Indeed mate!
Thanks Jayden for sharing the video. It was exactly what I was looking for.
This has got to be the best (next to engines) takeoff video I have ever seen! And you must have had the best flight in this massive biggy, I see absolutely no turbulence whatsoever, A380's All The Way!!!
Thanks so much for watching this one too :)
Totally agree! Those Rolls Royce Trent 900's are magnificent. On the LAX to Melbourne takeoff they get a good workout on the shorter runway roll out
2:38 I like how the engines whirr
all 4 of them😍
Great video I’ve been on a Qantas a380 in 2016 from Sydney to los angeles I’ve flown the a380 with Qantas Emirates and Singapore airlines
the wing tips looks like they on another planet. Amazing
Great video thanks for sharing.
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
its lovely to see how filled up Sydney used to be with a380s at 1:33
The flex of the wing and wobble of the engines. LOL
Thank you for watching! It was cute to look at haha
Tbh I love flying to over places : )
me too haha!!
Love the new livery
Great footage
thank you!
Gotta love SYD w/ so many A380s like DXB
I like the new kangaroo design.
Thank you for watching! So do i!
I am glad I have flown a few times on the a380s...Singapore Airlines...Thai ...and Asiana!
I've flown the A380 with British, Qantas, Korean, Singapore, Etihad and Emirates!
Such a huge plane it just looks like it’s taxiing ✈ 👍
That is a very heavy takeoff!
indeed! A very full flight to Hong Kong but got lucky that there was spare seat next to me. Thanks very much for watching Mark!
Superb footage!!! What camera did you film with? The quality is great.
Thank you for watching! I used iphone 8+
Lmao those engines are HUGE!!!
Yes they are! and we see 2 of them here :) Thanks for watching mate!
Great video.☺️ I just subscribed to ur CZcams channel.☺️
Yay! Thank you! :D
Awesome review brother.... I should b on that thing in July, God-willing.... Are the toilets noisy if you sit too close, and how comfy are the seats?
Thanks Gary! I hope you get on and enjoy this beast! There's no toilet near me, only the galley where crew prepare food :D
Not really,
What was it like on the a380? Im in the USA and fly home in next week and a bit. I flew Sydney - San Francisco on the 747 but flying back LAX - SYD on the a380, just wondering if it’s smooth flying, I’ve heard it is on the a380!
You do feel the size of it! Higher ceiling and wider seats. You feel less of the turbulence as well too. I hope you'll enjoy your A380 flight! Thanks for watching :D
it's always a funny feeling going from being supported by the wheels and the ground, to supported by the wings and the air
The most comfortable and quiet aircraft I've ever flown on was the A350-900, judging by the volume of the takeoff, this even sounds more quiet!
Definitely have to try out the A380-800 before airlines retire them.
You were too late but now have a second chance :)
What view is this Business, Premium?
What is the intro music???
Jayden could you describe what it felt like with take-off. I have only ever flown in a smaller single engine side by side plane not an A380 and I'm travelling to DUBAI next week on they're Qatar A380-800 and I'm very nervous about a big flight being 13+ hrs from Brisbane.
A380 is a humongous plane and it takes off slower than other aircraft. It feels smoother than many other planes and certainly a different experience!
@@JaydenWong Thanks Jayden I appreciate this information
Holy hell, I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to get on a plane😳
I can see my house from here 😂
The wings, for me looked like a big version of the A320 though :v
Yes it does! Just an extra large engine :)
The engine 2 blew up ?
no! Everything was normal🤣
Why does it feel like it's very slow to gain speed on take-off??
because it's the almighty a380!
Your plane had to go 2.5kms to take off how impressive is that?
it was very cool seeing the plane taking off so late compared to a 737 using the same runway!
Hello in Japan
Konnichiwa!
Andy Ngo brought me here.
How I miss QF1 ….
never ever been one it. Hopefully they’ll bring on the A380 on QF1 soon!
What seat number?
49A. Thanks for watching Ken
How long is that damn runway?
3962 metres!
That's what I was wondering, seemed to take forever to lift off, Yikes
*Good it was operated by a gigantic Airbus A380, not one of the wee 'lil A380s* ;)
yep very lucky😂
Why does this Qantas a380 has a more faint buzzsaw sound than most Qantas a380 planes?
I don't know haha, perhaps it's just because of where I sat?
Thanks for watching!
It’s the rolls Royce engine ☺️
Qantas A380s are powered by Rolls Royce Trent 972 (A380-842) an upgraded version of the original Trent 970 (A380-841)
A380-842 (A388)
thanks for watching!
how come those engines damn so quiet??? haha compared to 777 300er
Never thought about 380 is so quiet when 777 is so loud! Gosh you got me thinking 🤔
why is it!, nearly most of the take off/ Landing Vids I watch, there's either a Wing?, or Engines? obstructing most of the View!. maybe 1st class? Don't have the Interest!.
well most aviation geeks who watch this video clicked into this video to see the wing and engines 🤣 view is a bonus
How do you record, for you mount on the window or hold it? And if you do mount it what mount do you use because I have an iPhone 8 plus aswell, I know this might be a bit much to ask is possible could you give a pic of how you hold it if you do hold it? (Dm it to me on @mekhiqarker on Instagram)
sure I’ll dm you :)
One World Flyer thank you again 😊:)
Sounds of Germany
Thai still with the 747's lol
i'll miss them :(
That’s too Big
never too big haha!
