That's exactly what I was thinking about how Mike would view Trey Lance's production on the field. Interceptions are not what makes a quarterback unsuccessful or not. If that was true, then Tom Brady's 6 games in which he threw 4 interceptions would make him a bad quarterback. What Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy see in Trey Lance is his dual threat as a runner and a passer who can be used in many different plays like option plays in which Trey can decide to hand off the ball, throw it to an open receiver or run with it himself. Those kinds of NFL quarterbacks are rare to find because in the big colleges today, most of them are turned into pocket passers. A quarterback who is fearless to run with the ball and can throw perfect passes to receivers like Trey did his last game will turn defenses into confused players. We all can easily see how Trey Lance has significantly improved the past 3 games. Haters will always be haters and there is nothing we can do to change their minds. It's the reason NFL owners, managers and coaches tell their players not to be involved in social media platforms and read all those negative comments which can mess up their minds.
Don’t have much of an issue with Trey Lance performance as much as other people. His physical tools are ridiculously talented. He got some serious reps here in this preseason which is now on tape and will be valuable to him. KEEP HIM
I'm with u. Don't like the 5 ints, but I think it's part of the process. He produced nearly 500 yards of offense. Just gotta continue to develop him. I would try to sign him long term for cheap. He should have the system fully mastered mentally by next off-season, while the coaches continue to build on his mechanics.

Believe it or not this was Treys best game he didnt flinch under pressure his ball wasnt sailing except for the throw to deuce his mistake were trying to force the ball into tight windows undr pressure his last pick was on the wide receiver, romo threw five picks against buffalo in a game dallas won ,it happens

Trey Lance is playing against 3rd stringers, he threw 5 interceptions and lost the game. People can beat around the bush all they like but those are the facts. keep him as a 3rd stinger or trade him for a 6th or 7th round pick

He was 12 of 29 not mention the Chargers wr's dropped 4 passes! Also a Chargers defense had nothing but 3rd stringers in there except for Jefferson and 1 other player! Lance has all the talent but he cant read defenses 4 years later!
