Yupp there’s nothing else to blame now. Talent has always been there. Got better coaching. But it’s just too much spotlight on this organization. If the eagles lose and browns lose they spend 5 minutes on it. But cowboys get whole segments. Jerry just needs to step back and be satisfied with building the team up to a 10b dollar organization. But if he wants to win he has to fall back and run it like a real football team and not an entertainment business.

But they will talk about the cowboys all week and even the week after. This goes on in the regular season every year and it affects the players and it was obvious with parsons this year. That’s the only thing that make sense at this point. This just doesn’t make sense anymore lol.
@@SilmeonMusic the Browns were on their 4th quarterback and that got more attention than them losing because teams in the Browns situation had never even made the playoffs before. So them losing wasn't a huge surprise.

The Giants have won four Super Bowls played in five and the Cowboys have been no shows.
What I find amazing is that you can have a defensive coordinator that gives up that many points and yet is still considered a hot commodity for an NFL coaching job. This is the problem with the coaching hiring process.

I don't understand why it's such a big mystery, the problem is Jerry Jones meddling all the time thinking he's a GM and co-head coach is the problem. They're never going to win until JJ takes a back seat but that's not in his nature.

In this entire segment Jimmy Johnson was silent, quiet and most likely disgusted with the cowboys yet again exit in playoff.
McCarthy knew the stakes were high when he took the job. All NFL head coaches do. I knew it was over for him when the Packers scored their first second half TD in 5 plays. It showed that the Cowboy's coaching staff figured out nothing during halftime. Like it or not, that's on McCarthy.
Perhaps Dan Quinn paid more attention to HC opportunities than the actual gameplan versus the Packers...

I think that no one really heard at the end when Terry Bradshaw said “Only in Dallas do you see that”. He was referring to the media waiting for Jerry Jones. Everyone in Dallas knows that it is Jerry Jones who makes all the decisions regarding the everyday details of what is going on with the team. That doesn’t happen anywhere else. It’s TOTALLY Jones’ fault because he pulls all the strings for the puppet coaches. Jerry Jones considers himself to be a football genius. No self respecting coach should agree to take on the role of coach in this organization because he would just be a yes man.

The important question is, does it matter? JJ makes "show teams" that make money, they always have a fatal flaw that is irrelevant to the making of money. Jimmy gave JJ a foundation, a platform for which to make money and that is what Dallas is all about, not a disciplined team that is dedicated to winning. Always show and never go.

I don't think Troy had as much pressure on him.
I would rather they be perennially 8-8 and root for them as underdogs. For them to have 11 and 12 win seasons for years, one gets tired. I know the game just happened, but think Dallas has now allowed me to free up my Sundays for more fun things like, tooth extractions, root canals, and laying concrete...etc.

Actually, with all the drama, media attention, hype and bombast, it’s a miracle that the Cowboys made it to the playoffs the past three years. The stadium is like a theme park, like Disneyland. The entire organization need to go back to fundamentals instead of entertainment.

I left Cowboys when Jimmy split . I saw this coming from a mile away years ago when Jimmy left. Cowboys problem starts from the top with Jerry then filters down. He’s a poison to progress. He just needs to sit back and just be an owner and that’s it. Let better minds put together a team. Cowboys can’t get rid of Dak for at least another year (Maybe more) due to finances in salary cap matters I believe. Mike McCarthy and Dan Quinn will probably be gone as they should be. As someone who is not a Cowboys fan. The problem is Jerry Jones is too impatient with coaching. Yes 3 12 win seasons and no playoff success is frustrating. But if you change the coach you're likely setting back the entire organization. McCarthy is not the problem. It's an entire team mindset to clear that hurdle.
