If the consensus is that Dallas has a good squad, then Jerry did his job. The players need to perform. This particular loss was all on the players and the coaching staff. They got beat down by the youngest team in the league. A group on inexperienced guys kicked their tails. That cannot be put on Jerry.

I have been a cowboy fan since I was a kid; watching Troy and hearing about the greatness of Staubach from my dad and granddaddy. Richard Sherman keeps it very real; more real than many sports commentators do. Dude needs his own Fox show; call it Sherm's Shake & Take! 😉

We never had any depth at LB and never used Parsons to cover some of those weaknesses. Defense gave up 42. It was atrocious. McCarthy has to go and Quinn can get a job elsewhere too.
If they don’t fire McCarthy I can’t even support this team anymore. All the wins in the regular season are empty calories.

Well, after listening to all of you I say you're all wrong. Once you said you don't get rid of Dak Prescott, forget it. Prescott is NOT the type of quarterback that can turn things around in a ball game, once things get tough. If he throws a pick, or two, he folds his tent up and he's done. He just quit trying to push the ball down field and played dink and dunk. The winners come right back and will start throwing dimes down field. That has never been Prescott. You can just see it in his face and in his movements on the field. The confidence goes away and he has no fight left in him in the game.
Did you see that look on his face yesterday after he threw that first interception? He was already defeated let alone the look he had after the Pic 6. That look there was embarrassing as a Cowboy fan....
Not a cowboys fan but you can see that no one was really ever open. The defense also didn’t show up. It was bad coaching for Dallas and even better coaching for the packers. Dak does choke but he wasn’t even given a good opportunity with the plays and there’s bigger issues that need to be addressed with the coaching

One could blend the best pro and college coaches into one super coach, but as long as Dallas ownership is too "invested" in the team it'll always fall short again and again and again.

Michael Irvin is spot on. What this team needs most is toughness and discipline. They had it under Tom Landry, they had it under Jimmy Johnson, and they were getting it back under Bill Parcells (I still wonder what Parcells might have accomplished with that '07 team had he stuck around for one more season). The problem is that Jerry Jones just can't seem to coexist with that type of coach for any length of time because his ego is unwilling to cede that much control to someone else.

If you look at the Pats, the defense was great. The offense failed them. Other wise, they would have been in the Playoffs. Belichick would bring consistency and in-game adjustments. Something the Cowboys haven't had for decades. They don't need Dak. They need a QB like Purdy and load up on the defense. They can sign Parsons, Diggs, Lamb....because they don't have to pay the QB. Dak is a scrub. You have a 8 year sample size of what he's capable of. His INTs changed the momentum of the game and the defense was soft like Charmin. No Mamba mentality with this team. No leadership from the HC, DC, and Dak. Dump these 3, sign Belichick.

I personally think the whole bill vs Tom situation did right by both of them. If Bill did realize Tom couldn't take mediocre talent back to a super bowl so he got him out of there, then he did a favor and Tom went to a place with much better weapons and he got another ring meanwhile Bill showed that look, Tom may have been the offense but you can never say Bill has had a bad defense even in these down years for the patriots, that defense will show up and it did many times this year and the offense did nothing
You are on the right path. The 2019 Pats were old and weren't that good, especially the offense. They needed to rebuild. Keeping Tom around would only be a feel good story, but they would have no chance in 2020. In 2021 they could throw some money around, less because of Tom's salary, but some to try to give it a shot. Very unlikely it would have led to a SB win. That allowed Tom to go to the most talented team that needed a qb in Tampa. They had offensive weapons galore and a great defense. Worked out great for them for 1 year. The Pats biggest issue is that Cam was a lousy qb followed by 3 years of a lousy Mac Jones as qb. You need at least a decent qb to compete and a good one for a shot at a SB. Kraft if crazy if he thinks it should be easy. If they can find a good qb in the draft then they can start back up, but it all starts with that position.

Dak 0 yards in 1st quarter. 2nd quarter he almost threw 3 Interceptions. He didnt even give them a chance. Besides the picks he threw he had bad throws and took bad sacks. Game was over in 1st half. Without points off turnovers the score is 13-7 going into halftime
I wasn’t excited when Mike McCarthy first got the job as head coach of Dallas. Aaron Rodgers basically carried him to his only Super Bowl as a head coach. What I also remember is that there were a number of early playoff exits just like the last three years here in Dallas. But this falls on Jerry Jones. Because he’s the one that continues to bring in these beta male, lame duck coaches.
